"BB, you're a genius!"
The two had been running back to the main entrance of the post office where they found two cops. Scott, in the form of a ten year old that had just been abandoned, was putting on an Oscar worthy performance.
"No wonder he took over as leader of Backtown."
"Believe it or not, he lost the first election."
"I know, I was there."
"Oh, right."
"So, I suggest that you make the guards simply get back in their cruiser, and walk away."
"Okay."
Sugar, with all of his mental might, had tried to make the men move. Get back in your cruiser and never return!
"See, not that hard."
"Any other business that we have to settle before this time is over with?"
"Yeah, give Scott his memories back."
"I'll see what I can do."
With that, he tried with all his mind to the point that he broke a sweat. Remember who you are. Remember who you are!
"BB?"
"Scott?"
"Do you remember?"
"Yes."
The two got into a brotherly embrace but to the people nearby, there was only the sight of what was an old man hugging his granddaughter. Some part of him had missed Lighter, but he knew that his real family was actually from Backtown.
