The Battlefield lit up as the girls were released from the robotic arms and huge gates opened at both sides, releasing Zombies.
Enmei and Solara stood with their backs touching trying to defend each other while Lure stood at their side pulling a sword out of thin air.
The zombies surrounded them and attacked the girls repeatedly.
" You poor peasants are wasting time . Maybe it costs too much to fight back . " Veronica said as she threw her mirror in the air and broke it with her lipstick causing it to crack then change form completely.
It became a shiny shield and her lipstick became a bright red sword. She jumped and grabbed them out the air and her dress became a bejeweled suit of armour.
" Ok that was actually cool." Solara stated and Enmei glared at Veronica.
" My daddy only buys me functional make up. I mean What's the point of beauty if it doesn't save your life ?" Veronica said as she hovered above the rest of them and Enmei was getting more and more pissed.
[ Game detects a GREAT girl ]
"You might have fancy weapons but I deserve to be the Ruler NOT you." Enmei shouted at Veronica then she took a pill out her pocket and swallowed it.
" Beauty cannot win without the Beast." Enmei shouted as she transformed into an large , horrid creature.
Solara and Lure were both shocked as they tried to focus on fighting off the zombies that had surrounded them.
Solara glowed brightly as she turned the energy of the people around her into a brilliant light.
She aimed beams of light at the creatures approaching her , causing them to scream and back away.
They shrieked , she soared , Enmei smashed all the zombies that surrounded her and off to the side there was a camera man and a news reporter calmly describing the events of the game as if it was a random football match playing at a sports bar.
" Good morning, Darling !! Hello Earth and the Aliens who have rudely invaded our home. Today I'm at the central battlefield witnessing a Fierce , Ferocious and Feminine fight for the man of our fantasies. I have already picked my favorites but this competition is all about Eros picking his." The reporter said , sounding too excited to watch girls be endangered for the sake of a villainous Alien man .
Kaito flipped through the air pulling Lure out of danger and off the battle field and she screamed loudly. They were now both upside down at the top of the dome that had trapped them.
" It's just me Lure." The man said , remaining unseen and she turned to face the voice.
" Kaito ?" She asked, her hair hanging below her.
" Listen , I don't want you in this fight. I should have told you before you left but i didnt want to seem overprotective and I knew you wanted to save the world.
" I cant just run from this , Kaito. Can't you see that people are in danger? " Lure asked frustratedly and Kaito sighed.
"No, because YOU are safe." He said and she wondered for a moment how much her cousin really cared about her.
" Unlike Hudson I AM NOT A HERO and I NEVER SAID I WAS. I'm not trying to save the world , Lure. I'm trying to save you from it." Kaito said and Hudson appeared beside them.
" Woah, you can actually be sweet and roman- "
" He's my cousin !" Lure said and Kaito nodded.
"Yea .I'm her cousin and it's actually really gross that you thought it sounded that way, dude." Kaito said then he became visible.
' Not my fault you look nothing alike." Hudson said.
" So you're the famous Hudson , huh ?" Lure said and Hudson furrowed his brows.
" Famous ?"
" Well you're the only one who ever tries to fight with Eros. Everybody knows you."
" Well HE'S the one always picking fights with me." Hudson said in a low grumble then he turned to Lure with a sad look on his face.
"Listen, I need advice. My best friend is down there and I was planning to rescue her, but before the game started I overheard her saying she actually wants to win. I think I might be selfish if I -"
" Go SAVE her ." Kaito said and Lure smiled softly.
" I usually don't agree with my cousin's meddling but the game shouldn't be able to take whoever it wants and give them to Eros. It's not fair." Lure said as the wind blew her hair gently.
Hudson nodded then he suddenly jumped from the top of the Dome.
Lure reached after him quickly , afraid he might get hurt but he just fell down slowly with his wings releasing as everything blurred around him.
He closed his eyes as he fell.
Best friend or Bully ?
If there were Zombies about to tear the world a part because your bully couldn't fall in love ...would you save your best friend from being his bride or would you let her fight for her life and love because you know deep down she might still like him and oddly enough there's also a part of you ( the most ridiculous part ) that wants him to find his impossible love ?
Hudson landed on the battle field and faced Enmei.
He knew that if Eros was here now and could hear his thoughts he would have told him Humans were the most annoying species in existence , but he wasn't.
While everyone else was stuck in a game that wanted him to fall in love , Eros was sitting in a lake surrounded by red roses and moonlight.
His eyes protected an unknown problem, his black nails caressed a red bloom, his shirtless body glistened with water and while the rest of the world had chaos he had a long soak in a lake deep in a forest that was only a few miles away from Base One.
He felt something was missing. He felt there was something incomplete and so he'd start wondering off alone just to be with his thoughts.
"Master Eros. I found your map, " Cole said and he finally moved , turning to see the brown- haired boy standing with a stained paper that looked like a scroll.
Cole was Eros' band-mate and he was normally human-presenting. He revealed his fangs as he smirked and his eyes turned black.
Eros extended his arm towards Cole, reaching for the map. His long black nails pointed upwards as he did and Cole immediately walked over and handed him the scroll.
He opened it.
" The world thinks I'm here for refuge and power but what I've really been after is an incomparable treasure." Eros stated .
" But Eros treasure might be a waste of time you can have anything you want right now." Cole said and Eros glared at him.
" You are a Demon in debt to a human yet you still dare to question a God ?"
" My apologies , Eros. May I play your favorite song?"
" NO. It is the treasure that I want to hear of. I found out about it years ago from a Siren in Aquatar. Now...tell me when will I stop searching ? "
" You'll be lost until it's found." Cole said and Eros smiled.
" Tear the Earth apart if you have to. There's something here that will be invaluable." Eros commanded Cole and he bowed before him then he faded into the bushes.
Eros now had a copy of the map that he had sent multiple people to retrieve from the darkest parts of the world.
He had power , beauty , his own planet and yet he felt incomplete .
He rolled the map closed then held it tightly.
While the game was still searching for the woman that would rule beside him he slowly submerged himself into the water with only his eyes and the top of his head showing like an giant gator looking for prey.
