DARIAN POV (Point of view)

The screen didn't lie, Orion wasn't hiding anymore. It was expanding, point by point, city by city and each signal lighting up like a warning we couldn't ignore.

"This isn't random," I said.

Victor nodded beside me.

"No."

"It's strategic."

Adanna stepped closer to the monitor, her expression tightening.

"It's choosing infrastructure hubs."

I looked again, she was right. Major cities, power centers, communication backbones, transport systems, which shows that Orion wasn't just spreading, it was positioning itself.

ADANNA POV (Point of view)

Eden responded instantly inside me, not defensive but observant. Tracking every movement Orion made, learning its patterns.

"It's not attacking yet," I said quietly.

Darian frowned.

"Then what is it waiting for?"

I felt the answer before I fully understood it.

"Me."

DARIAN POV (Point of view)

I turned sharply.

"What do you mean?"

Adanna didn't hesitate.

"It's not trying to destroy Eden."
