Chapter 453 - Chapter 145: Mysterious Night, Mutation

The vividly detailed raven pattern made Ian unable to resist reaching out to touch it.

"Is it because of this pattern that you think a transfer student from over a hundred years ago is related to the founder of our college?" Ian turned to look at Professor Flitwick, who was shorter than him.

Professor Flitwick didn't give a direct response but instead took out the Ravenclaw College's emblem and placed it beside the vivid raven pattern on the parchment.

In every detail, the two are strikingly similar.

"I think this is exactly the case; our college's emblem probably didn't come from nowhere but has origins and history. It's just that I haven't yet found evidence to prove this speculation."

Professor Flitwick sighed heavily, his voice carrying a sense of regret, as if curiosity had driven him to seek the truth for many years.

"If you follow your theory, do the emblems of the other colleges… also have some origins and history?" Ian suddenly became a bit curious.

Upon hearing this, Professor Flitwick shrugged.

"Who knows? I'm not very interested in the history of other colleges, after all, I don't teach Magic History." Professor Flitwick's response was very straightforward.

"Headmaster Dumbledore must have seen this transfer student." Ian refocused on the words in the memoir, and his emotions were exceedingly complex.

"Perhaps Albus also doesn't want to cause any panic, because if such a transfer student really existed in the past, who knows what kind of uproar it would cause in the Wizarding World and the doubts it would raise about our school." Though Professor Flitwick carried years of curiosity, he clearly did not blame Albus Dumbledore for knowing yet remaining silent.

"Yes, I'm feeling quite panicked right now..." Ian's eyes continued to stay on the words of the memoir, specifically focused on some particular phrases.

"Don't worry, Hogwarts is very safe now." Professor Flitwick clearly misunderstood the words of the little wizard, intending to pat the little wizard's shoulder but found that even standing on tiptoe, he couldn't reach.

"Have you grown so much taller?"

The Ravenclaw Headmaster's tone carried a hint of surprise. He vaguely remembered Ian's situation when he first entered school, and his voice contained an imperceptible trace of envy—after all, who wouldn't wish to be tall? That would eliminate the need for chairs and ladders in many situations.

Years ago, Professor Flitwick also had a girl he admired.

The problem was his height.

At least that was how Professor Flitwick himself felt.

"Hogwarts is indeed safer than it's ever been." Ian strongly agreed with Professor Flitwick's words, since only heaven knows how many Albus Dumbledores are in the school now.

To be truthful.

Recently, Ian has been paranoid, feeling that there might be an Albus Dumbledore standing in some corner, so much so that even when using the restroom, he couldn't help but check every cubicle.

With little research on time, Ian couldn't comprehend what Albus Dumbledore meant by challenging the limits—how many of you could exist at different times within one space?

Perhaps even Albus Dumbledore himself did not know, just as the Flash never knew how many other Flashes from different times were in the room when his mother died.

That which has yet to be done can't be determined by anyone; all that can be said is that the Time Converter is indeed mysterious... The secrets of time make Ian instinctively feel a bit anxious.

Many things are laid out in front of him.

Leaving him no choice but to think more deeply.

"Headmaster, I would like to know more about the transfer student, no, it should be about the bird on our emblem." Ian looked down at Professor Flitwick beside him.

He has heard about the raven from more than one person, but compared to the previous bits of information, he is now more concerned about the fifth-year transfer student from a hundred years ago who encountered this raven.

It's truly chilling to think deeply about it!

"What I know is actually very little, since after so many years have passed, we can't rely on clearly capturing the fleeting figure in history."

"The late Lady Ravenclaw is probably the only one who knew about the raven on our emblem."

Professor Flitwick jogged to the bookshelf, climbed up a rather high shelf via a ladder, and pulled out a somewhat ancient book.

"But we can't ask Lady Ravenclaw, who has been dead for years, can we?" Professor Flitwick sighed with a sense of reflection as he climbed down the ladder.

"Yes, that's indeed the case."

Ian's expression was somewhat unnatural.

After all.

What is impossible here isn't absolute. He just doesn't know if he can meet Lady Ravenclaw again, since the Misty Illusion Realm is too vast, filled with many things he hasn't figured out, and he's not sure he can reach that volcano crater or Lady Ravenclaw's solitary island.

"As future generations, what we can do is catch a glimpse of the past through ancient records." Once more, Professor Flitwick walked back to Ian and placed the ancient book on the table.

This old and ancient magic book seemed to have been slowly retrieved from the abyss of time.
