Chapter 454 - Chapter 145: Mysterious Night, Mutation_2

On the cover, the traces of time are clearly visible, with tiny cracks like paths on an ancient map, winding and twisting, recording countless readings and explorations. Among these cracks, occasional faint glimmers seem to be the remnants of magic energy within the pages, unintentionally revealing a hint of mystery.

"Peeping at Destiny"

A very short book title.

What draws the most attention is the book's author—Rowena Ravenclaw.

"I once had the privilege of obtaining a secret book from our college's founder, but the mention of the mysterious Raven in the book is only a brief remark in one small place."

Professor Flitwick turned to page seventy-seven of the book, and Ian looked over. Just as the current head of Ravenclaw College said, there really were only a few words on it.

In general, it mentioned a contract related to the family, which allowed Rowena Ravenclaw to gain the talent of peeping at destiny, and this contract had a significant connection with the Raven associated with the Ravenclaw Clan.

This wasn't much different from what Ian had learned from Albus Dumbledore. After all, it still lacked some genuine information pointing to where the Raven actually came from and what it truly was.

"Actually, I think the Raven mentioned by Lady Ravenclaw and the Raven encountered by that transfer student are not the same. After all, no bird can possibly live for a thousand years."

"Nor do wizards have such a long lifespan, hmm, except for wizards like Nicolas Flamel who possess the Magic Stone... It's just that this possibility is far less than the other possibility."

Professor Flitwick clearly had his own judgments and reflections.

His words made the little wizard unable to help but ask further.

"What possibility?"

Ian's eyes were slightly flickering.

Professor Flitwick did not notice the little wizard's overly unusual curiosity, as curiosity is a quality almost inherent in the soul of every Ravenclaw College student.

He pondered for a moment before answering Ian's question.

"The transfer student mentioned that the Raven he encountered was the Animagus form of a wizard, so the Raven the transfer student encountered is more likely a descendant of the Ravenclaw Clan."

"Perhaps many people don't know, but the Animagus form of a Ravenclaw Clan member is most likely to be a Raven. I think this is also related to the contract said to be with the Raven."

"Just like many wizards with special bloodlines have patronuses connected to their special bloodlines, I think there is a similar connection with Animagus forms."

At this point.

Professor Flitwick paused for a moment, as if he had remembered something, and looked with slight concern at the little wizard in front of him, who seemed to be somewhat absent-minded.

"By the way, how's your Patronus Charm coming along?" Professor Flitwick still remembered Ian's bizarre and baffling Patronus Charm from not long ago.

He had spent numerous nights searching for a solution but couldn't find even a hint. Every piece of evidence indicated Ian should be able to cast a full Patronus Charm.

There were no mistakes in syllables, gestures, or even the trajectory of magic power, yet it was still unclear why such a magical node anomaly occurred.

Even exploring whether it was an influence of bloodline led to a dead-end; history could not find a second instance, and who knows how many hairs Professor Flitwick pulled out over this.

"Feeling good at the moment?"

Ian hesitated over whether to cast the Patronus Charm for his headmaster to scrutinize since having a Patronus being one of the Dead would cause no small stir and upheaval in the Wizarding World.

"Did you find a way to solve the problem yourself?"

Professor Flitwick raised his slightly exaggerated eyebrows.

"With some help from elders," Ian answered honestly to Professor Flitwick's inquiry. His ability to create the Ring of Patronus wasn't due solely to his own efforts.

"Was it Albus? Only he would have the ability to assist you." Professor Flitwick might not be convinced by other wizards, but like all professors, he revered his own headmaster.

"Headmaster Dumbledore was one of the helpers."

Ian nodded.

The little wizard's words somewhat surprised Professor Flitwick.

"Someone else also assisted you? I can't imagine Severus being more adept in spells than I am." Professor Flitwick was quite familiar with Ian's family background.

He immediately felt a bit indignant.

"..."

Ian remained silent, "Other elders."

The little wizard's ability to organize his words was somewhat constrained. He certainly believed Professor Flitwick was indeed a capable wizard—just not in comparison to Teacher Morgan and Lady Ravenclaw.

"It seems you have some connections unknown to me, well, it's not a big deal." Professor Flitwick looked at the hesitating Ian with a bit of appreciation.

"You don't have to feel troubled about it, I roughly understand why you would find it difficult to voice out." Professor Flitwick clearly thought of Ian's extraordinary talent in Fiery Fire.

His misunderstanding of Ian didn't stop at just that, "Actually, I'm just curious, hmm, you don't have to tell me, but if you do, I certainly won't spread it."

"Your Patronus... wouldn't happen to be a Raven, would it?" Professor Flitwick's eyes were exceptionally bright, and the curiosity of a Ravenclaw student was fully exhibited in him.
