Chapter 11 - Chapter 11: Small Ones Are Cute Too

[Relationship established successfully, current trust level two]

[Relationship established successfully, current trust level two]

Seeing the trust level was both at two, Mokgetsu nodded to himself. It wasn't in vain that he went through such trouble to disguise himself as bait to lure them in.

Mokgetsu felt that increasing the trust level was rather difficult and required time to nurture. If it was at trust level one, the initial rewards would be much lower.

[Two disciples with potential S or higher, skill teaching obtained]

[Teaching: The knowledge you impart is more easily absorbed]

A very straightforward and powerful skill, it simply increases the effectiveness of lectures and teaching.

Mokgetsu tried it out—it's a passive skill that can be switched on and off.

But when it comes to something with no drawbacks, Mokgetsu naturally chooses to keep it on, unless one day Danzo sees him teaching so well and wants him to teach at Root, then he would turn it off.

The only disappointment for Mokgetsu was that the number of apprentice returns wasn't increased with the addition of disciples; it remained once per day.

He was hoping that if he made something for Shisui to eat, he'd burst forth with fifty Chakra. Cooking for the three disciples every day, he'd gain at least one hundred and fifty Chakra daily, much faster than grinding lessons. Turns out he was overthinking.

However, with three disciples, even if there's only one chance, it's still better than just one person.

Because emotions have a threshold, under gradual stimulation, the threshold will slowly increase, making it less easy to be deeply moved and burst into a jackpot.

With three people, they can take turns hitting the jackpot, not only increasing the jackpot opportunities but also slowing the growth of the emotional threshold.

"Also, the current growth rate is still alright," Mokgetsu thought as he glanced at his panel.

[Name: Habu Mokgetsu]

[Age: 18]

[Chakra: 4405]

[Skills: Fire Release: Mighty Dragon Fire Jutsu, Water Release: Water Array Wall, Wind Release: Pressure, Teaching...]

Compared to when he crossed over, Mokgetsu had increased his Chakra by a hundred and five points in total, ninety of which came from lessons and apprentice returns, while the remaining fifteen were from his own cultivation and apprentice returns from other masters.

This was just the result of five days for Mokgetsu, as most of his rewards were various ninjutsu.

If Mokgetsu were to focus solely on obtaining Chakra, just teaching alone would provide a minimum of a hundred Chakra per week, not counting apprentice returns.

But at the current stage, Mokgetsu thought it's better to focus on brushing for A-level rewards or a fifty-fifty split of AB-level rewards.

The ninjutsu rewarded by the system's lectures are learned directly, not just beginners' knowledge, but fully mastered, ready for combat use.

If he gets a ninjutsu that he doesn't initially have a grasp of, complete with nature transformation, drawing a duplicate will increase the experience, which is incredibly considerate.

If he had to spend time learning those ninjutsu, it would consume a considerable amount of time, and figuring out a cultivation method is also a problem.

However, once he has more techniques under his belt, Mokgetsu feels he still needs to acquire more Chakra, as Chakra is the foundation of a ninja.

"Teacher, I've finished!" Obito said earnestly, eager to learn new ninjutsu, with one hundred and twenty percent seriousness in completing the exam papers.

"I've finished too," Might Guy reported, unwilling to be outdone.

"Two of them..." Mokgetsu was glad that here, in the world of Hokage, Clone Jutsu is quite common.

"Shadow Clone Jutsu!"

Mokgetsu quickly formed a seal and split out a shadow clone.

As one of them studies Taijutsu and the other ninjutsu, Mokgetsu couldn't teach them both at once, so he could only create a shadow clone.

He planned to first teach Obito ninjutsu with his main body, while the clone explained to Might Guy.

After teaching for half an hour, he would switch, his main body teaching Might Guy, and the clone teaching Obito.

Mokgetsu was not one to be a confidant teacher for just one person; he wanted to spread his warmth to each disciple.

Mokgetsu, just like when he taught Shisui, broke down teachings meticulously, epitomizing hand-in-hand instruction.

[You taught the disciple Fire Release: Mighty Dragon Fire Jutsu, and due to the disciple's deep gratitude, you received a critical reward, acquiring the ninjutsu Water Release: Water Dragon Bomb Jutsu (Proficient Level)]

Mokgetsu fell into thought, remembering teaching Shisui the Mighty Dragon Fire, but back then it didn't count as an apprentice return.

He considered the reason; perhaps the reward blasted from the same disciple can't be used for apprentice returns to continue blasting rewards.

Mokgetsu quietly noted down this hidden rule.

"Just hope it's not the Water Dragon Bomb with forty-four seals." Mokgetsu couldn't help but mentally complain remembering Kakashi and Zabuza's Water Dragon Bomb.

It might look cool to execute seals in anime, but in reality, ninjutsu needing so many seals is hard to use unless someone's there to pin the enemy down.

The system's proficient level didn't disappoint Mokgetsu; he only needed six seals, and with more practice, the more proficient he gets, the further he can simplify the seals.

After teaching Obito for half an hour, Mokgetsu moved to guide Might Guy, letting the clone instruct Obito.

After coaching both, he would also go to mentor Shisui, constantly moving among the three.

By noon, Mokgetsu personally went to the river to catch four fish, then grilled them over the fire, one each, serving them as lunch.

"Really tasty! If you open a barbecue restaurant, Teacher Mokgetsu, I'm sure business would be great," Obito complimented while eating.

Shisui and Might Guy nodded in agreement.

"Be careful not to swallow any fish bones," Mokgetsu smiled while shaking his head.

Was it delicious? Mokgetsu thought it was rather ordinary since he didn't really have barbecue skills and seldom barbecued.

The reason it seemed delicious was, first, because the atmosphere was great, enhancing the experience.

Usually, Shisui ate home alone, rarely did he dine with so many people, especially outdoors.

Obito usually ate with his grandma, and Might Guy with his father.

Plus, they hadn't had grilled fish often, so the newness added to the experience, making the originally plain grilled fish taste a lot better.

After lunch, resting for an hour, Mokgetsu took the three back to continue their cultivation.

"Actually, this ninjutsu isn't that hard," Obito said with a great sense of accomplishment looking at the round Fire Dragon he released, which was much smoother than his previous training with the Great Fireball.

Coincidentally, Shisui was also practicing Mighty Dragon Fire and spat out a fiery dragon.

Seeing Shisui's fierce, sharp-toothed, fierce fire dragon, Obito quietly controlled his adorable little fire dragon to hide behind him.

Having kicked the Tornado Kick countless times, Might Guy, just about to rest and wipe his sweat, saw this scene.

Perhaps because of the shared struggle in the morning, Might Guy went over to console, "It's fine, your small Fire Dragon is really cute. Sooner or later, it'll become as powerful as Teacher Mokgetsu's."

Though meant as comfort, for some reason, Obito felt an inexplicable frustration, making him very uncomfortable.

This frustration instantly filled Obito with energy, even though he initially wanted to rest, and he began practicing the Mighty Dragon Fire Jutsu again.

Seeing Obito so motivated, Might Guy couldn't stand being idle; after resting for a while, he quickly resumed training as well.

"These two are quite a match," said Mokgetsu, who had been watching from the side, finding it hard to hold back a laugh. He noticed that Obito and Might Guy were quite the duo when together.

After training until dinnertime, Mokgetsu let them each return home, telling them to continue the next day.

On Sunday, after another day of training, the apprentice return yielded fifty Chakra.

And then, the new week began again...
