Chapter 127 - Chapter 39: Ingenious Uses of Shadow Clone Jutsu

Even if Obito and the others are still young, with three times the gains, they can still provide him with a significant amount of Chakra in a month.

Once the students mature, the difference will be even greater.

Imagine Mokgetsu nurturing a student from scratch with over a hundred thousand Chakra, each trust level would mean a hundred thousand Chakra difference.

Mokgetsu feels that his cheat ability is quite powerful, it just requires time to develop. Given time, he will eventually develop into an all-round invincible powerhouse full of Chakra.

"Speaking of which, school is about to start again, this vacation felt really short," Obito lamented as the cultivation was coming to an end.

Even though it was almost a two-month holiday, he felt as if only a few days had passed.

"Because it was fulfilling, right? Training in the field during the day, and then cultivation with Teacher Mokgetsu at night," Nohara Rin gently said.

This holiday was very short for all the fourth-year students, including five weeks of special training even during the break.

"Feels like going back to school isn't as good as continuing special training; it improves our strength faster," Obito recalled the special training.

"Obito, could it be that you don't want to learn theoretical knowledge?" Nohara Rin asked.

When Obito was cultivating Soru and racing with Might Guy, Nohara Rin often saw him painfully dealing with test papers.

"Of course not, I just think actual combat is more important than theory," Obito refused to admit.

"Actually, you can use clones," Shisui said.

"Let the clone attend school, then the main body can continue cultivating."

After the first exam in the first grade, Shisui didn't attend classes anymore, only the shadow clones did. He only went to the exams.

"Can the Clone Jutsu clones last that long? They seem too easy to disappear and it would be easy to get caught, right?" Obito asked, puzzled.

"Not Clone Jutsu, Shadow Clone Jutsu," Shisui shook his head and said.

"The clones formed by the Shadow Clone Jutsu have physical form and possess the same consciousness as the main body. After dispelling the shadow clone, the memories of the shadow clone will return, no different from attending the class yourself," Shisui explained.

"Turns out it's such a convenient ninjutsu!" Obito was shocked. Although he watched Mokgetsu use shadow clones every day, he hadn't thought of using shadow clones instead of the main body to attend school.

"Shisui, you're so familiar with it, does that mean…" Obito looked at Shisui in surprise.

"I only attended school with my main body before the first exam, after that, it's all shadow clones attending, while the main body cultivates here," Shisui answered calmly.

Obito joyfully grabbed Shisui's shoulders, saying: "Shisui, you're really a genius, thinking of such a great method."

Obito always found it strange that Shisui's strength was greater than his, but despite all his hard training, he could not narrow the gap. It turned out that Shisui trained intensively every day.

Putting aside the improvement of strength, the key is that he no longer needs to attend Ninja Academy classes, and once completed, the learned memory will automatically appear in his mind.

"Whoever developed the Shadow Clone Jutsu, I would call them the Immortal of Clones, truly a super genius!" Obito couldn't help but praise.

In just an instant, Obito thought of uses for shadow clones other than attending school, such as having shadow clones do homework, so he wouldn't have to do it himself, and he would still gain the experience of doing it.

"This jutsu was developed by the Second Hokage, Senju Tobirama, I think it's recorded in Konoha History 2," Nohara Rin recalled.

"So it's the Second Hokage, no wonder such a ninjutsu could be developed," Obito took note of the name Senju Tobirama.

Having solved the two major annoyances of learning theory and doing homework at once, Obito acknowledged Senju Tobirama as the Second Hokage.

Viewing Obito's excited demeanor, Shisui felt that Obito might have misunderstood something.

If it's just to avoid learning theory by sending a shadow clone to school, then it's meaningless, because the moment the shadow clone returns, Obito would experience the same as if the main body went to school.

"Teacher Mokgetsu told me about this," Shisui shook his head and said.

"Teacher Mokgetsu, you're a bit biased, not telling me such a good thing," Obito looked at Mokgetsu with a rather resentful look.

Pa.

Mokgetsu knocked on Obito's head and explained:

"Shisui can use shadow clones to attend school because he's already outgrown what the school can teach, and there's no match for him there. Could you do that back then?"

There were actually other reasons too; back then, Obito wasn't as enthusiastic about cultivation as now.

Obito thought about it and realized maybe he couldn't; that time he didn't even get into the top two, both he and Might Guy were knocked out by Hyuga Kamon.

"Hehe, Teacher Mokgetsu, I should be fine now, right? I also want to learn the Shadow Clone Jutsu," Obito's resentful look instantly turned into yearning and anticipation.

"Teacher, I want to learn too." Hearing that they could have the shadow clones go to school, Might Guy was also tempted.

Even though he was just slow at learning ninjutsu, and not unable to learn it.

"I'll teach you tomorrow morning, from tomorrow until the day before school starts, we'll have four full days of cultivation," Mokgetsu thought for a bit and said.

Although he still has work at the Ninja Academy, that's almost done, and sending a shadow clone will be enough to handle the rest, as there aren't any classes for him to earn rewards.

As to why it's four days and not five full days of cultivation, since they'll be using shadow clones to attend school next semester, their training volume will significantly increase, so consider that day a break before the intensive training.
