Emma's pov.
Night.
After making sure mom and Allison were asleep, I sneaked into Thomas's room and locked the door quietly. He came out of the bathroom, water still on his skin, a towel hanging low on his waist. He froze when he saw me.
"Ahh…" he looked nervous, like I caught him doing something wrong. "I was about to dress up," he said with an awkward smile and rushed to the wardrobe to look for clothes.
I chuckled and walked closer. I pulled him away from the wardrobe and wrapped my arms around his neck.
"Don't tell me you're shy, Your Highness?" I teased.
"I don't want you to think…" I shut him up with a kiss. I missed him so much, and I've seen how he tries to control himself every time he sees me.
"But Emma…" he sighed and gently removed my hands, looking straight into my eyes. "You have no idea what you're getting yourself into."
"I knew what I was doing the moment I let myself love again," I smiled and hugged him again.
