Chapter 8 - we are the zodiac

It's Everybody

(Verse 1: The Eye)

I see the world through fractured glass,

A vision skewed, shadows that last.

Truth's a mirror cracked in two,

What's real, what's false-I haven't a clue.

The Eye that watches, but can't believe,

Caught in a web they can't unweave.

(Chorus: The Tea)

It's everybody, lost in the fight,

Sacrificed souls hiding from the light.

The Tea that's bitter, the pain they hide,

Can't bear the view on the other side.

We're all caught in this endless sea,

It's everybody, it's you and me.

(Verse 2: The Wrapped)

Between two worlds, they stand alone,

Wrapped in doubt, far from home.

One side whispers, "You can believe,"

The other screams, "You'll only grieve."

Torn between hope and fear's cold hand,

Trying to find where they can stand.

(Chorus: The Tea)

It's everybody, lost in the fight,

Sacrificed souls hiding from the light.

The Tea that's bitter, the pain they hide,

Can't bear the view on the other side.

We're all caught in this endless sea,

It's everybody, it's you and me.

(Bridge: The Unseen Force)

There's a force we never see,

Driving wedges endlessly.

A silent hand that pulls apart,

The ties that bind the human heart.

Not friend, not foe, just shadows cast,

On futures built from broken pasts.

(Final Chorus)

It's everybody, caught in the middle,

Blinded by the unseen riddle.

Eye, Tea, and Wrapped-we're all a part,

Searching for meaning in a world torn apart.

It's everybody, it's you and me,

Together lost, yet longing to be free.

Sight to Start

Verse 1:

Rage and age, they're fire and frost,

One burns bright, the other counts the cost.

But when they meet, a flame ignites,

A truth revealed in your mirrored nights.

You look back, see roads you've tread,

Victories won and the things unsaid.

But your future, oh, it ain't just past-

It starts with the moment you choose to grasp.

Chorus:

Sight to start, not to dwell,

We're not bound by the stories we tell.

Time's no chain, it's a flame to relight,

Begin your future, let your soul take flight.

Rage will fade, but age can grow,

The seeds of today decide what you'll sow.

Verse 2:

They say age is a thief but it's really a guide,

Showing you truths no anger could hide.

Rage can scream, but wisdom speaks low,

Teaching what youth may need to outgrow.

So forgive the past, let go of the weight,

Every day's a clean slate to recreate.

Your sight is the spark-don't shy, don't wait,

Every ending's just a twist of fate.

Chorus:

Sight to start, not to dwell,

We're not bound by the stories we tell.

Time's no chain, it's a flame to relight,

Begin your future, let your soul take flight.

Rage will fade, but age can grow,

The seeds of today decide what you'll sow.

Bridge:

The fire of youth was never meant to stay,

It softens, shifts, but it shows the way.

And age-oh age-is a new kind of storm,

A call to create, to transform.

Outro:

So rage if you must, but let it refine,

Don't fear the clock, there's still so much time.

Your future begins when you claim your sight,

To see that darkness is the birth of light.

Sight to start, your heart awake-

The life you imagine is yours to make.
