Their group was fast, and most members were good fighters.

A goblin tried to swing his sword at Si-Hun, but Si-Hun took out his dagger in one swift move and literally broke his sword.

The goblin stood wide-eyed.

Si-Hun didn't wait a second and slid his dagger across that goblin's neck and killed him.

"Bitch." He whispered under his breath.

The other predators were busy fighting, so no one noticed except for Yu-Jun.

A wicked smile spread on his face.

Si-Hun wasn't so unaware that he didn't sense anyone's presence.

He glanced around silently and walked forward.

"Hmphh…someone's there or maybe my mind's playing tricks on me." He said, sighing.

He killed a few other goblins, and after clearing the small monsters, everyone headed towards the boss chamber.

"Ahh, I hope no one messes, and I don't have to step in."

The boss was a red-eyed spider.

Everyone tightened their guards and attacked.

The shooters took their spots and shot at the spider at times.

The phantoms were good in close combat.

But still… the spider was fast and precise, dodging most of the attacks.

Their energy was running out.

Suddenly, Yu-Jun screamed.

"AHH! HELP!!"

Si-Hun looked his way.

Yu-Jun was under the spider's leg.

"UGHH, HIS LEG IS CRUSHING ME!"

"The spider will push harder if we go forward." Someone spoke.

"Just shoot the spider."

"Shooting is not even doing anything to its body!" A shooter shouted.

Just then, Si-Hun walked forward and stuck his dagger in the spider's throat.

The spider squeaked and stumbled backwards, releasing Yu-Jun from his grip.

Si-Hun then extended his hand to Yu-Jun.

Yu-Jun looked at him and accepted his help.

The spider, seeing the guy get away, leapt forward, but before it could even touch him, a shooter standing behind shot the spider on its head.

Si-Hun looked back.

"Thanks, buddy,'' Si-Hun said with a little salute.

"You're welcome." The guy said, smiling.

"OHH, THANK YOU SO MUCH, SI-HUN! YOU SAVED ME FROM THIS DAMN SPIDER!" Yu-Jun spoke.

Si-Hun furrowed his brows and said

"…It's okay."

'No! You saved my life, I want to pay you back. Please let me treat you today!"

"Yu-Jun, I said it's fi-

"It's not! Please!"

Si-Hun clenched his jaw and sighed.

"Fine."

Everyone left the portal after that.

I'll treat you to ramen. Please let me!" Yu-Jun said to Si-Hun.

'Where do you wanna go?" He asked, uninterested.

"Let's go to that ramen shop on the main street."

"Okay."

They both went to the shop on the street and ordered two bowls of ramen.

"So, how did you get this strong? You weren't like this the last time I met you…"

"I wasn't. I just practiced my skills. That's all.

[Yu-Jun's POV]

"Avoiding my question? That's suspicious…"

[Si-Hun's POV]

"He's nothing like the Yu-Jun I met before. He's changed…a lot."

Their orders arrived, and they ate.

"Where do you live now?"

"Why would you ask that?"

"Why did he say 'now'? How does he know I moved? Ugh, let's not think too much." Si-Hun thought furrowing his brows.

'Ohh, sorry if it bothered you. I was just…curious."

Si-Hun didn't say anything and ate quietly, but he noticed Yu-Jun looking at him at times.

Si-Hun tilted his head a little and finished his ramen quickly.

"Thanks for the meal. I'll leave."

"Uh…Bye!"

"…Bye…"

Si-Hun said and left.

"He is acting strange." He said to Kuro.

"He is acting like he didn't almost cause your death a few months back."

"He is weird. But I'm glad you're aware of my past." Si-Hun said to Kuro.

They went home after that.

He was just chilling at home when his doorbell rang.

Si-Hun opened the door and saw Su-Yeon.

"Si-Hun…it's another letter at my door."

Si-Hun furrowed his brows a little.

"Why do they keep arriving at her door?"

"I don't know why they keep arriving at my door when they're for you."

"Someone…must have mistook our houses."

"I guess."

"I'm sorry you're bothered because of me." Si-Huns said, rubbing the back of his neck.

"It's fine." She said, smiling.

"I'm just...amused seeing you in different states. Once in an apron…and now in a neat leather jacket."

"You change your clothes a lot, I think," Su-Yeon said.

Si-Hun looked down and said

"I just have a lot of dirty clothes because of my raids."

Si-Hun said while leaning on the doorframe.

"Your job seems annoying." She said, pouting a little.

"It isn't so bad for someone like me," Si-Hun said, shrugging his shoulders a little and smiling faintly.

"Maybe it suits you. You seem to overwork a lot, and you look…tired."

"Life just has too much momentum for me," Si-Hun said, sighing.

"Still, try to rest, or you'll function poorly. Anyways, I'll leave now." She said before smiling and leaving.

While Si-Hun stood there, brows a little lifted.

"Someone showing concern…?" He whispered, barely audible.

"But I function fine…" Si-Hun said and closed the door.

He went inside and sat on his couch while opening the envelope in his hands.

This time, it said:

"I'm glad you didn't ignore my last letter. You're actually pretty unpredictable. Just don't disappoint me."
