Chapter 1092 - Chapter 563: Heading to the Alabaster Icelands, the Final King! (Part 2)

If Avalugg is really as large as that, then many common combat strategies must be reconsidered, at least we can't plan based on the size of the previous Kings.

Cynthia quickly became serious.

"At least now that we know in advance, we still have time to reconsider our tactics based on its size."

Ash nodded emphatically.

"Hmm!"

After following all of Team Galactic's prescribed procedures, the two finally returned to their small home in Jubilife Village.

After a day and a half of continuous hustle and bustle, they were both quite exhausted. That night, after a simple meal, they went straight to sleep.

In the following days, they did not immediately head to Alabaster Icelands.

After all, Cyllene had already warned them about the troublesome cold there, so they decided to custom-make clothing suitable for snowy environments and planned to depart once the clothes were ready.

During those waiting days, Ash and Cynthia mostly stayed resting in Jubilife Village, occasionally taking a walk in the Obsidian Fieldlands to slightly relax from the tension they've been under.

Finally, when the custom-made warm clothing was finished, they began organizing the supplies needed for the journey to Alabaster Icelands.

Before setting off, they specifically contacted Adaman and Irida, informing them in advance of their plans to enter Alabaster Icelands.

The result was a quick response from both sides.

Adaman stated that the warden responsible for Alabaster Icelands on his side was somewhat difficult, so he would personally guide them when they arrived.

Irida's response was quite similar.

She also noted that the Pearl Clan's warden in Alabaster Icelands was somewhat difficult, so she would go ahead to wait for them.

Ash and Cynthia looked at the messages sent back from both sides, their expressions were somewhat peculiar.

"Sis... didn't they both just use the word 'difficult'?"

"Hmm."

Cynthia couldn't help but allow a bit of a smile to grace her lips.

They had known Adaman and Irida for quite some time, and it's the first time they heard this kind of evaluation from both leaders simultaneously.

For them both to go ahead and wait in Alabaster Icelands, they could somewhat guess how troublesome the warden over there would be.

But now the arrow is on the string, and it must be released.

All the necessary preparations had been completed, and it was impossible for them to remain in Jubilife Village just because of the word 'difficult.'

On the day of departure, Ash and Cynthia sorted the supplies in their Space Backpack and quickly used the Arceus Phone to teleport to the northernmost part of Coronet Highlands.

This was the furthest edge of Coronet Highlands they had reached previously; if they continued ahead for a bit, they would officially enter Alabaster Icelands.

But they didn't hurry forward.

There was still quite some time before the scheduled meeting with Adaman and Irida, so they leisurely collected rocks and berries found along the way, replenishing materials in their Space Backpack that might come in handy later.

As they kept walking and stopping, by the time they finally approached the boundary of Alabaster Icelands, most of the day had already passed.

Yet even before officially entering Alabaster Icelands, an icy wind had already started to blow fiercely.

"Hiss... It's so cold!"

Ash instinctively shrank his neck.

Though it was less than two kilometers away from Coronet Highlands, the temperature here felt like they were in completely different worlds.

Continuing forward a bit further, the grasslands and rocks they could still see around them quickly became covered in snow, and snowflakes began to fall from the sky.

Once they officially stepped into Alabaster Icelands, the delicate snowflakes quickly landed on their warm clothing.

Before long, a faint layer of white had already formed upon them.

"Thankfully we prepared warm clothing in advance."

Cynthia exhaled a breath of white air.

This specially tailored outfit was of an impressively high quality; despite the fierce wind outside, she didn't feel particularly cold.

Instead, being bundled up in thick clothing made her originally fair cheeks turn considerably rosy.

Ash was about to speak when they saw two figures waiting near the entrance in the distance entering their view.

"Adaman, Irida!"

Ash raised his hand and greeted.

But as they continued to approach, seeing clearly what Irida was wearing, Ash and Cynthia's pace slowed down almost simultaneously.

Ash: "..."

Cynthia: "..."

Irida was still wearing the same outfit as when they first met.

The black and red strapless top covered only a small part of her body, leaving her white shoulders and delicate collarbone completely exposed, without anything to shield her arms from the cold wind.

Her lower half was still adorned with white shorts, leaving her fair legs exposed to the icy terrain, with what appeared to be butterfly-shaped decorations around her waist.

This outfit was certainly not an issue under normal circumstances; it could be said to be quite beautiful.

But the problem was... this was Alabaster Icelands!

And it was snowing!

Ash glanced down at his own thoroughly bundled warm outfit, then looked again at Irida's shoulders and legs exposed to the frigid wind, unable to hide the peculiar expression on his face.

Even more absurdly, Irida had apparently been standing there for quite some time; there was even a fair amount of snow on her hair and shoulders.
