Chapter 2 - 2: A half-hidden change of clothes, a feast for the eyes!

"You can't make a silk purse out of a sow's ear. In less than three days, your powerful muscles and long lifespan will all disappear."

Aux glanced at the villagers.

The villagers of the entire settlement were beyond saving. Instead of wasting more time, it was better to let them die in their laziness.

Ignoring these useless people, Aux took his staff and walked out of the village, intending to continue his homeless journey.

After he left, Erza pondered for a few seconds, then looked at the village chief and held out her hand for money: "The requested mission is complete. Please pay the reward for the commission."

Several villagers exchanged glances, their previously fearful expressions instantly turning ferocious.

They moved to surround Erza.

The village chief denied, "The requested mission was to kill that demon. You haven't completed it at all, so the reward cannot be paid!"

The villagers all nodded in agreement. There was no money, only their lives.

There was no way they would give her this money.

"The Master said that if a client doesn't pay, I can handle it myself!" Erza muttered to herself.

Then, with a gesture of both hands,

her Knight Sword appeared in her hand, and without another word, she started wildly slashing at these villagers.

Her sword was not sharpened; it only hurt when it hit, so she wasn't worried about accidentally killing anyone.

"Ah ah ah, it hurts! It hurts!"

"I'm going to report to the Magic Council and say that a Mage from the Fairy Tail Guild attacked civilians."

"Your Guild can expect to be expelled from the Light Guilds."

Several villagers rolled on the ground.

The village chief clearly thought Erza was easy to bully, and he threatened her with words while rolling around.

Hearing this, Erza's face darkened.

She placed her Knight Sword on the village chief's neck, "Since that's the case, then I'll just slaughter all of you villagers first!"

"Gulp…" The cold blade against his neck, the village chief's face instantly turned ashen, and his body trembled uncontrollably, "No! I'll pay, I'll pay now!"

This girl's gaze was so fierce.

The village chief was truly worried about his life, so he immediately agreed to pay the reward.

"Pleasure working with you!"

Erza immediately smiled.

After following the village chief home to get the money, she ran out of the village without looking back.

She still wanted to catch up with that Mage and talk a bit.

Running out of the village, she soon saw him ahead and quickly raised her voice to call out, "Friend, wait!"

Aux, ahead, stopped.

He turned to look at Erza behind him, and only continued walking after she caught up.

Erza asked with a smile: "Friend, what's your name? Which Mage Guild are you a member of? I haven't seen you around much."

Aux introduced himself, then said: "I haven't joined any Mage Guild. I want to measure this world with my own feet."

No Guild?

Erza looked at him with surprise. To possess such powerful magic and yet not join any Mage Guild!

She immediately composed her words, "Aux, why don't you come to our Fairy Tail Guild? You surely don't like being alone, do you? Our Guild is very lively."

More than just lively!

As Aux, who had watched this work, he knew that Fairy Tail was not just simply lively.

When watching, he often envied their bonds, which were thicker than blood.

He was also moved by the scenes of fighting in anger to protect comrades!

However, the Fairy Tail Guild was a place fraught with difficulties.

All sorts of dangerous Dark Guilds targeted it.

And Aux disliked fighting. Joining a storm center like the Fairy Tail Guild was very dangerous.

"I'll think about it."

Aux intended to refuse, but after turning his head to look at Erza, he met her expectant gaze.

The words of refusal he originally intended to say couldn't come out.

Erza was already very satisfied with this reply and enthusiastically invited him to Magnolia, "Great, come back to the Fairy Tail Guild with me and take a look."

They didn't continue the topic, instead conversing as they walked towards the town.

The village they were in was on the border between two kingdoms.

Although there were no large-scale wars, minor skirmishes never ceased, so towns or villages were easily frequented by bandits.

After committing crimes, bandits often fled into jungles and valleys to evade arrest by Soldiers.

And in front of Aux and Erza was a dense, dark jungle.

Only a narrow winding path connected the village and the town.

The two arrived at the narrow dirt road, only to find several Soldiers in armor lying on the ground ahead.

They hurried forward to check and found that these Soldiers were all Soldiers of the Fiore Kingdom; the kingdom's emblem was imprinted on their armor.

"All fatal wounds. It looks like this jungle also has bandits lurking."

Aux examined the Soldiers' injuries.

It was certain that there were experts among the bandits; these Soldiers had all had their throats slit, and it was done very quickly.

"The bodies are still warm, so those bandits shouldn't have gone far. Let's hurry and chase after them," Erza suggested.

However, Aux shook his head and refused, "We should return to town as quickly as possible, notify more Soldiers, and let them handle this matter."

Chasing bandits meant fighting!

And he disliked fighting the most, not to mention that there might be an unknown number of experts among the bandits.

Rushing in rashly would put himself in danger.

"If the bandits rush into the village to burn, kill, and loot, by the time we go to town and come back, there won't be enough time. Re-Equip!"

Erza immediately explained and proceeded to Re-Equip directly.

She was enveloped in white light, and her original armor disappeared from her body.

Aux stood stunned.

The white light enveloping Erza was like a thin veil, instead outlining the curves of her body's organs.

This semi-covered scene was even more alluring than being naked.

"Heaven's Wheel Armor!"

Re-Equip complete!

Erza immediately followed the tracks on the ground, rushing into the jungle.

"I was just saying that if the people in the village died, then they died, but I didn't expect you to use a charm spell…" Aux murmured to himself.

He closed his eyes and let out a deep breath.

Since Erza was so generous as to let him feast his eyes, it would be truly inexcusable not to help.

Through the towering trees, over the waist-high grass.

Aux caught up with her.

At this moment, Erza was hiding behind a thick tree trunk, peeking her head out to secretly look ahead.

Noticing Aux had followed, she smiled and greeted him: "You really are suited for our Fairy Tail Guild."

Aux rolled his eyes.

He walked forward and looked in her line of sight, seeing a large open area through the grass ahead.

Dozens of bandits sat in a circle, grinning and flattering the one-eyed male in the main seat.

Behind them were several girls who were tied up!

"These bandits not only killed Soldiers but also kidnapped women from the town. They all deserve to die!"

Erza angrily denounced them with righteous indignation.

She could rush out at any moment and bring these bandits to justice.

"That one-eyed male should be the leader," Aux said.

There were quite a few people, and it would be difficult to deal with the bandits without harming the women.

A thorough plan needed to be formulated!
