Chapter 34 - Chapter 35 "Enlightenment" Ning Rongrong

When night fell, Ning Chuan took a shower in the dormitory, changed into clean clothes, and went to the playground to gather, he saw Ning Rongrong, who was scolded and cried by Flanders, running back to her dormitory.

"What's wrong? Who bullied our Miss Ning? Tell me, I will get you back." Ning Chuan stood at the door of the girls' dormitory and asked knowingly.

After hearing Ning Chuan's words, Ning Rongrong walked out of the dormitory, her delicate little face full of tear marks, "It was Flanders, Flanders bullied me. I must let my Grandpa Jian and Grandpa Gu kill him, kill him." Ning Rongrong almost roared at the last moment.

"It seems to be just as I thought." Ning Chuan did not show any surprise.

Ning Rongrong sobbed, "What do you mean?"

Ning Chuan smiled mysteriously, "Running around the village twenty laps, not to mention you, an auxiliary spirit master, even an ordinary combat spirit master can't handle it. You might as well think about why the dean gave you a task that is impossible to complete?"

"You mean he did it on purpose?" Ning Rongrong understood, wiped her tears, and asked subconsciously: "But why did he do this, how did I offend him?"

Ning Chuan shook his head, "It's not that you offended him, but as the head of the academy, he must confirm his authority. You know your own situation. Although you don't have any bad intentions, you are a spoiled young lady who was spoiled since childhood. Deep down, she even looks down on everyone in Shrek Academy, including the dean. Who else will he punish if not you? Otherwise, how can he lead everyone in the academy in the future?"

Ning Rongrong's thoughts were hit, her cheeks flushed slightly, and she tried her best to deny it: "Nonsense, I obviously don't look down on all of you"

"None of that matters. Besides, consider this: The dean is only a Soul Sage. How could he dare to reprimand you, the eldest daughter of the Seven Treasures Glazed Tile Sect, with a Titled Douluo in command?" Ning Chuan said.

Hearing this, Ning Rongrong knew her father must have spoken with Flender beforehand; otherwise, Flender wouldn't have been so bold.

She looked at Ning Chuan's fair, handsome face and asked softly, "Ning Chuan, what do you think I should do?"

Ning Chuan replied, "Since your father has handed you over to the dean, that means no one here can help you, let alone pamper you. You're on your own. If you don't want to be hurt, prove it to them. It will also show them that you, the eldest daughter of the Seven Treasures Glazed Tile Sect, are no mere figurehead. As for those who bullied and abandoned you, you can seek revenge and vengeance against them later."

That last part was the key point.

But Ning Rongrong, pure-minded at the moment, clearly took him in. Ning Rongrong was furious when she recalled the indifference shown by Tang San, Dai Mubai, and the others when she had been scolded by Flender. Especially when Dai Mubai had even tried to pack her things when she ran away crying, eager for her to leave.

"Hmph! I'm not a flower vase," Ning Rongrong snorted softly, looking at Ning Chuan so close. Then a sincere smile crossed her face. "Ning Chuan, thank you!"

From childhood to adulthood, with the exception of Grandpa Jian, Grandpa Gu, and her father, everyone had flattered her because of her status as the young princess of the Seven Treasures Glazed Tile Sect. Then, Dai Mubai, Tang San, and the others, backed by Flender, had bullied and excluded her. Ning Chuan was the only one who neither flattered her because of her status nor joined Dai Mubai and the others in taking advantage of her misfortune.

Ning Chuan smiled faintly and said, "You're welcome."

Just then, a hurried voice approached from afar, "Rongrong, are you okay?"

Ning Chuan and Ning Rongrong looked over to see Oscar, sweating and panting, running towards them.

Seeing Ning Chuan, he was a little surprised and said, "Hey, Ning Chuan, you're here too. Hurry up and go to the playground. I have to tell you, the dean is in a bad mood today, and you're late again, so you should take it easy."

"No problem." Ning Chuan turned his back to Ning Rongrong and waved, "Miss Ning, I'll be leaving first."

As he spoke, he hurried towards the playground.

Watching Ning Chuan's back gradually disappearing, and then looking at Ning Rongrong who was no longer sad, Oscar felt as if he had lost something.

"Let's go." Ning Rongrong straightened her appearance and walked towards the village entrance.

"What for?" Oscar was stunned. He had only come to 'comfort' Ning Rongrong. By the way, he found Ning Chuan and told him to gather at the playground.

"Of course, to complete the lessons that were not completed today." Ning Rongrong said with her back to Oscar.

Oscar: "But the dean said there is no need to run anymore."

"That's for you. I still need to continue." As she spoke, Ning Rongrong ignored Oscar and ran towards the village entrance alone.

Oscar had no choice but to follow.

On the other side, at the Shrek Academy 'playground'!

Seeing Ning Chuan's arrival, Flanders was not angry as Oscar said. Instead, a smile as bright as a chrysanthemum appeared on his face. "You just finished such a high-intensity training. Is it okay? If you are tired, you can rest first. This class will continue tomorrow night. Just reduce the intensity of the training appropriately. It will be fine."

As soon as these words came out, Tang San, Dai Mubai and others who had been gloating were shocked.

Was this the same dean who had just mercilessly reprimanded even the young princess of the Seven Treasures Glazed Tile Sect?

Unbeknownst to everyone, Flanders had been observing Ning Chuan as well as Ning Rongrong and Oscar.

He'd noticed the intensity of his training was ridiculously high; even a Soul Sage like him would have struggled, let alone a Soul Venerable.

Yet, Ning Chuan had managed to complete it without blushing or panting, as if nothing had happened. It was clear just how formidable Ning Chuan's physique truly was.

He felt Shrek Academy had found a treasure.

Furthermore, Ning Chuan's inherent talent naturally favored him.

"It's okay, I've rested and I'm feeling fine now,"

Ning Chuan shook his head. He could sense that the old rat's strength had been nearly drained.

But he, himself, was still in peak form. A mere soul duel, a few sword swings.

Incidentally, he planned to visit Soto City for some shopping, perhaps to give Dai Mubai a great gift.

While Dai Mubai couldn't defeat Ning Chuan, he wasn't about to let him off lightly. Seeing that Ning Chuan was not punished, he could not help but said: "Dean, Ning Chuan was late for a full quarter of an hour, which violated the school rules you set. Why are you still..."

Flanders glared at him, "If you can also carry a thousand-pound weight, run more than twenty laps around the village, and do a series of high-intensity training, and practice from morning to evening, you can also be late."

"Oh!" Although Dai Mubai was unwilling, he knew that he could not do the same as Ning Chuan.

Instead, his backstabbing behavior "attracted" the hostility of Xiao Wu and Zhu Zhuqing, especially Zhu Zhuqing. She already hated Dai Mubai very much, and without the influence of the martial soul resonance, she hated him even more. Looking at Dai Mubai, it was as if he was looking at garbage.
