Chapter 47 -  Chapter 48: Oscar's spirit ring is gone

. The others were filled with disgust.

After all, a grown man like that, pooping his pants, was simply unheard of.

Zhu Zhuqing simply spat out two words, "Disgusting!"

The usually heartless Xiao Wu nodded in agreement. Little Heizi was truly disgraceful. Ugly, one thing, but pooping his pants.

  It was unacceptable.

With the snake blade so close, the Blue Silver Grass ineffective, and most importantly, his diarrhea, Tang San knew he had completely humiliated himself in front of Xiao Wu today, his expression grimacing as never before.

Just as the snake blade was about to strike, Tang San used Ghost Shadow Mirage and Control Crane to narrowly avoid Meng Yiran's attack.

However, the gushing from his anus only intensified. Suddenly, a foul odor filled the air

  for

dozens of meters. The filth, breaking free from the confines of Tang San's pants, spurted outwards, emitting a golden liquid that then flowed down his trouser legs.

Meng Yiran fought back the stench and continued her attack.

Zhao Wuji, unable to bear it any longer, said, "Alright, stop it."

Hearing this, Meng Yiran breathed a sigh of relief, halting his attack. He immediately returned to the snake woman's side, crouching behind a tree, unable to hold back his vomit.

"Ugh. I've never seen such a disgusting creature,"

  Meng Yiran complained, retching.

The snake woman gently stroked her granddaughter's back, a faint smile on her wrinkled face. Although she felt deeply wronged by having her granddaughter fight such a disgusting, fecal-like person, she was still a victim.

But the Phoenix-Tailed Cockscomb Snake was finally saved.

After all, her old man, Long Gong, wasn't around, having gone after another spirit beast.

Thinking of this, the snake woman looked at Zhao Wuji and said, "Brother Zhao, since you've admitted defeat, then the Phoenix-Tailed Cockscomb Snake..."

Zhao Wuji said with a sullen face, "I accept the bet and it's yours."

"Teacher Zhao?" Oscar didn't want to miss out on such a top-quality spirit ring.

But Tang San couldn't hold it any longer. As the others spoke, he darted into the jungle, urinating recklessly.

  Puff, puff, puff.

For a moment, the entire jungle echoed with the sound of Tang San's diarrhea.

The snake woman, as if oblivious to Tang San's diarrhea, turned and winked at Meng Yiran, "Yiran, go kill the Phoenix-Tailed Cockscreeper!"

Meng Yiran nodded, swallowing the stench left by Tang San as she approached the Cockscreeper. Ning Chuan was there, his spirit, the Green Bamboo Bee Cloud Sword, embedded in the Cockscreeper.

Although Ning Chuan had achieved his goal, he didn't give the Cockscreeper directly to Meng Yiran. Instead, he looked at Zhao Wuji.

"Teacher Zhao!" Oscar cast another pleading look.

"Give it to her." Zhao Wuji glanced in the direction of Tang San's diarrhea. As he instructed Ning Chuan to give the Cockscreeper to Meng Yiran, his disappointment in Tang San grew.

How could this son of Clear Sky Douluo be so useless?

He actually shit his pants at the crucial moment. He had completely disgraced his father, Clear Sky Douluo, today.

And he'd even sacrificed such a fine spirit ring.

  "Please do as you please."

Hearing Zhao Wuji's words, Ning Chuan no longer hesitated. He unsheathed his snake and sword, flinging the Phoenix-Tailed Cockatiel in front of Meng Yiran.

"Is this his martial spirit?" Meng Yiran glanced at the Green Bamboo Bee Cloud Sword, then nodded at Ning Chuan. He swung his snake blade, piercing the already dying Phoenix-Tailed Cockatiel's eye.

The Phoenix-Tailed Cockatiel struggled briefly before dying, revealing a ring of purple spirit rings.

The snake woman breathed a sigh of relief. Now, even if Zhao Wuji wanted to regret it, he wouldn't have the chance.

But she didn't relax. She walked over to Meng Yiran's side, guarding her while keeping a vigilant eye on Zhao Wuji.

Zhao Wuji, in turn, watched her warily.

The silent confrontation kept both of them on edge.

Half an hour later, Meng Yiran's spirit ring absorption was complete. Her delicate face was filled with excitement and she smiled at the snake woman, saying, "Grandma, I succeeded. I've gained an extremely powerful spirit skill."

  "Third Spirit Skill: Serpent Wings!"

As if to show off to the Shrek crowd, Meng Yiran took the initiative to demonstrate her third spirit skill.

Her third spirit ring lit up, and a pair of energy wings, resembling those of a phoenix-tailed cockatiel, unfolded from her back.

With a flap of her wings, she soared into the sky, flying at a speed comparable to that of a cockatiel.

Ning Chuan wasn't sure if the others at Shrek were enraged by Meng Yiran's spirit skill, but Oscar was definitely furious.

After all, Ning Chuan was right. This cockatiel truly could grant the spirit skill of flight. If he could acquire this skill, his status in Shrek would undoubtedly rise significantly.

Even getting Ning Rongrong to change her opinion of him wasn't impossible.

Unfortunately, all of this was ruined by the woman before him, Meng Yiran.

And Tang San was a complete failure, completely disregarding everyone's trust by pooping his pants in the middle of a fight, a complete disgrace to Shrek Academy.

It was only because he was a food-type spirit master, otherwise he'd have been murderous.

"Haha, good." Seeing her granddaughter acquire the flying spirit skill, the snake woman couldn't hide her smile.

After Meng Yiran landed beside her, the snake woman said, "Brother Zhao, we'll meet again. We'll take our leave."

With that, they flew off in the direction they'd come from.

Only Zhao Wuji and Oscar, their faces sullen, remained.

As for Ning Rongrong, Xiao Wu, and Zhu Zhuqing, they all followed Ning Chuan's lead, sitting cross-legged under a tree, meditating and increasing their spirit power.

Over an hour hadn't been wasted.

  Ma Hongjun followed suit.

Meanwhile, Tang San finally emerged from the dense forest, dressed in brand new clothes. His hair was damp, and his face and clothes were still wet, revealing he'd just showered.

Ning Chuan and the other four opened their eyes to see Tang San, his face grim, saying to Zhao Wuji, "Teacher Zhao!"

"Now that you're done, sit down and recover. Little Ao, give him two sausages quickly. We need to continue searching for spirit rings later."

Zhao Wuji, as if he hadn't noticed Tang San, urged Oscar to give Tang San the sausages to help him recover.

Oscar said nothing, silently handing over the two sausages he'd prepared, then sat cross-legged and began to recover.

About half an hour later, Tang San opened his eyes. The dejected look on his face had vanished, replaced by excitement. "Teacher Zhao, I've also reached level 30."

"Since you're awake, then... what, you've reached level 30 too?"

Zhao Wuji's anger faded into joy.

Tang San didn't reply, but instead summoned his martial spirit and spirit rings, instantly unleashing a uniquely level 30 spirit energy.

"Haha, well, this can be considered a blessing in disguise. With this, we Shrek will suddenly have four Soul Masters. But you did lose the competition this time, and you also caused Xiao Ao to lose a top-grade Soul Ring. Next time, don't vomit like that. If your stomach is really uncomfortable, remember to tell me in advance, and don't force it."

Thinking back to Tang San's previous vomiting, Zhao Wuji felt nauseous.
