"Your Highness, we have three critical cases arriving now," Selena announced, her voice cutting through the controlled chaos of the infirmary. "Miss Rosalyn has stabilized them successfully, and they're responding well to treatment. Eight additional patients present with minor injuries. Two miners are still trapped below, but the rescue teams are reinforcing the collapsed areas and working to reach them."
I acknowledged her report with a nod and positioned myself at the intake station where I could observe everything.
Rosalyn moved with practiced efficiency, setting bone fractures, relieving compartment syndrome, and suturing deep wounds without missing a beat. Edwin calculated every medication dosage with precision, documented each vial in the official records, and ensured fresh saline solutions were ready before anyone requested them.
