Thor's power truly reawakened, becoming even stronger than before. A terrifying aura of lightning burst forth from him, electrifying the air.
The atmosphere sizzled, smoke curled from the ground, and every living thing nearby felt the raw intensity.
"Hahahaha! This is great!"
"I, Thunder God Thor, am back!"
Thor laughed at the sky, unbothered by decorum, his excitement overflowing.
For days he had felt stifled, worried, anxious about life and the future.
All of that vanished in an instant. He had returned to his rightful place.
Odin watched the energized Thor and smiled with satisfaction.
His son had endured hellish trials, yet these hardships had only strengthened him, making him more resilient and composed.
"Odin, your complexion looks much better. You can probably live another ten days to half a month, right?"
Leo teased, noting Odin's improved vitality. Thor's miraculous comeback seemed linked to Odin's residual power.
Power cannot be conjured from nothing; such miracles required both spirit and body.
"As one grows older, strength can paradoxically increase," Odin murmured.
"That's the case for Thor now. Even if I die, I can die in peace—Thor has already inherited the responsibility of a king."
Thor, noticing his father's gaze, gave a silly, proud smile.
Odin's eyes filled with relief and pride, though his thoughts lingered on Asgard's uncertain future.
Even he had struggled to contain Hela, and he knew the true threat she posed.
While Odin's thoughts swirled, Thor approached Magneto.
"Hey, buddy! You're awesome! Stealing my Thor power was bold. Since you're so arrogant, do you dare to fight me?"
Thor had just regained his divine power and was eager to test it.
He spotted Magneto resting nearby—this was the perfect opportunity to vent his frustration and get some practice.
"You?"
Magneto opened his eyes, sensing the challenge.
"Yes, you don't dare?"
Thor grinned and continued provocatively.
"Alright, in that case, let's go!" Magneto responded with a deep, calm voice. Fear was not in his vocabulary.
Thor raised Mjolnir with joy. The hammer responded immediately, flying into his hand.
"Haha, old friend, we can fight side by side again!"
Magneto sneered. Thor's memory was short, remembering only pride and meals, not beatings.
Gripping Mjolnir, Thor felt unstoppable. Lightning surged, and in an instant, the hammer radiated with divine energy.
Thick bolts exploded from the void, converging into a lightning whip that lashed toward Magneto.
Magneto didn't flinch. He casually grabbed a nearby scrap car to shield himself.
Boom! The lightning split the car in half, fire erupting around him, but the whip's momentum continued toward Magneto's face.
Thor's smile widened, smug and triumphant—but it froze the next second.
"Stop right there!"
Magneto extended his hand. Even with Thor's power, his magnetic abilities allowed him to manipulate the lightning, barely withstanding the attack.
"Hmph, mere parlor tricks!"
Thor retracted the whip and charged, swinging Mjolnir in close quarters. He loved brute combat; magic and distance were not his style.
The few meters closed instantly. Thor somersaulted, swinging Mjolnir toward Magneto's shoulder.
But Magneto, clever and modified by Thor's stolen power, dodged.
Bang! The car behind him took the brunt of the strike, exploding under the lightning.
"Hmph, good, you can dodge," Thor muttered, preparing another strike.
Magneto would not allow another mistake. "Give it here!" he shouted, seizing Mjolnir with his magnetic field.
The hammer, though divine, was bound by universal rules. Thor stumbled, nearly falling as Mjolnir pulled him toward Magneto.
"Mjolnir! You traitor! I am Thor!"
Thor's rage surged. He swung his knee toward Magneto, hoping to force the hammer's release—a clever move, but Magneto anticipated it. He pushed Mjolnir back, pulling Thor away.
"F***!!" Thor cursed, crashing into a shop and getting buried under debris.
Magneto raised his hand toward the Destroyer in the distance and slammed it down onto Thor's position.
The "hug of love" pinned Thor beneath the heavy, unyielding armor.
Thor struggled, but the magnetic force held him firmly.
Completely defeated, he could do nothing against Magneto's control.
