"You lost!"
Looking at Thor pinned beneath the Destroyer, Magneto said coldly.
At this moment, Thor was at his weakest—essentially Earth-level.
He probably couldn't even match someone like the Hulk and would have been thoroughly thrashed by him.
Magneto didn't realize that Thor hadn't triggered his "think-of-father" mode yet.
Once Odin passed on the Odin Force, Thor could transform from Earth-level to sub-Skyfather level instantly.
On the surface, Magneto remained calm, but inside, his heart was racing.
His opponent was a God—a mythical figure he had heard of since childhood: the Thunder God Thor. And today, he had defeated him.
From this moment, Gods were not unconquerable. Eric Lehnsherr, Magneto, had bested a God.
"What can a God do?" he thought. "Even they can fall into my hands."
Magneto's confidence swelled like never before. If he could defeat a God, then perhaps the mutant cause could rise even faster.
He tossed Mjolnir back to Thor and released his control.
"Yes, I lost," Thor murmured, his voice low. He truly had lost—defeated almost instantly.
He looked at Odin dejectedly, his heart heavy with shame. He had disgraced Asgard, disgraced his father.
"Thor, a temporary defeat is not the end," Odin said earnestly.
"Failure should spur you on. Remember: if you don't want to be beaten, you must grow stronger!"
Thor nodded heavily, absorbing his father's wisdom.
"There are always those stronger than you, always higher authorities," Odin continued.
"Countless unknown powerhouses exist in this Universe. Abandon the halo of a God's glory and learn reverence."
Odin's gaze lingered briefly on Leo, but his words were meant for Thor.
"Some chase dreams their entire lives, yet it's all for nothing. A thousand years of planning, all in vain."
Thor realized how unfathomable Earth was. No wonder Odin had never dared a full-scale invasion—its people were deceptively strong.
Even an inconspicuous Earthling like Leo could absorb Thor's power and challenge him. The hidden world of Earth was incomprehensible.
"Haha, God King Odin is still sensible," Leo laughed. Old men grow shrewd. Odin had wisely avoided unnecessary conflict.
"Yes," Odin replied humbly. "Long life brings perspective. You learn from experience."
"Then Thor and I shall return. You are welcome in Asgard anytime; I will personally greet you in the Heavenly Palace."
"Very well, I won't see you off," Leo said, shaking Odin's hand. The Thor storyline was temporarily concluded.
As for the Asgardian Four, Leo let them fend for themselves.
Deliver packages, work on assembly lines, do whatever—they could earn their way back to the Heavenly Palace only if they changed.
Stubborn ones could remain on Earth for life, which would save their lives.
Leo, Magneto, and a few others opened a spatial portal and returned to New York, leaving Jane and the others in stunned awe.
"Oh my God! Amazing! What kind of spatial principle is this?" Jane asked.
"Principle? There's no principle. This is the mystical side," Leo replied casually.
Jane, as an astronomer, could only nod in disbelief.
Time for parting had arrived; everyone returned home. Leo secretly arranged to take Jane to study new knowledge—truly groundbreaking knowledge.
"System, extract items and abilities from Odin."
[Ding. Detected plot character: God King Odin. Each extraction costs 1.5 million points. Repeated extraction costs 300 points.]
[Ding. First extraction initiated. Deducting 1.5 million points from host. Extraction beginning.]
[Ding. Extraction complete. Congratulations, host. You have obtained the divine artifact: Gungnir!]
Leo snorted. Weapons weren't his style. One million points wasn't a big loss; after all, this was a Marvel divine artifact.
"Forget it. I'll give it to Natasha. She seems the only one who can wield weapons."
"System, continue."
Leo was determined to obtain the Odin Force.
[Ding. Repeated extraction initiated. Deducting 3 million points. Extraction beginning.]
[Ding. Extraction complete. Congratulations, host. You have obtained the Odin Force!]
The sound of heaven seemed to echo as the Odin Force entered Leo's hands.
The Odin Force included energy emission, reality manipulation, creation and resurrection, object decomposition and repair, physical enhancement, time travel, dimensional portals, spells and blessings, telepathy, telekinesis, and shields.
Though slightly weakened from the movie version, it was still immensely powerful.
Leo integrated these abilities into his body, allowing the Phoenix Force to amplify them.
This trip had been completely worth it.
