Chapter 294 - chapter 206 part 2

chapter 206 part 2

From the other end of the Den Den Mushi, the impatient voice of one of the Five Elders came through. Sengoku frowned. "Alright then."

After hanging up the phone, Sengoku stood up and walked out of the office.

In the rest area of Marine Headquarters, the warm sunlight shone brightly on the ground.

Garp was sprawled out on a reclining chair, his feet propped up on a table, with piles of senbei packets on a small table beside him.

While humming a catchy tune, he stuffed senbei into his mouth, eating it with great relish.

Sengoku walked over and glared at Garp in exasperation. "Garp, you're still leisurely eating senbei here! Have you forgotten what I told you?"

Garp, chewing senbei, said indistinctly, "What? Why so serious? What could be more important than eating senbei?" Saying that, he reached out and grabbed another handful of senbei, stuffing it into his mouth.

Sengoku sighed helplessly and recounted the events of Ren Arakawa escaping from Impel Down, releasing a large number of prisoners, defeating Moria, and the plan to send Fujitora to apprehend him.

"Oh? The wanted criminal from Impel Down?" Garp's eyes instantly lit up. He sat upright and put down the senbei in his hand. "Interesting, this kid has some capabilities! I really want to meet him!" He rubbed his fists, an eager expression appearing on his face, as if Ren Arakawa was already standing before him, just waiting for him to throw a punch.

"Stop causing trouble for me, Garp!" Sengoku said irritably, "Impel Down now has almost no defense, and there are still many prisoners who haven't escaped. You must go and help guard it!"

Garp waved his hand dismissively. "What's there to be afraid of? If anyone dares to attack the prison, even if they manage to escape, I can chase them all over the world! Just like back then!"

Sengoku sighed, "Finish eating, then go. If Impel Down doesn't have you guarding it for a day, I won't have a day of peace."

At the same time, on a small island in the West Blue, the sea wind gently brushed, and waves crashed against the shore.

Fujitora, dressed in a white Marine coat of justice, his eyes closed, holding his Shirasaya sword, one of the Twelve Supreme Grade Swords, Gambler's Fire Line, stood quietly by the sea.

A warship sailed over, and Fujitora effortlessly leaped, landing steadily on the deck.

A Marine ran over: "Sir! We can set sail anytime!"

Fujitora nodded: "Hmm, full speed ahead then!"

"Yes, sir!"

Outside the village's buildings, a sea of zombies surged like black torrents, densely packed and moving.

They gnashed their teeth and brandished their claws, their roars rising and falling, their decaying bodies emitting a nauseating stench.

These zombies seemed to be driven by an invisible force, rushing towards the village one after another, attempting to break through humanity's last line of defense.

Suddenly, a fireball, dragging a long tail of flame, streaked across the sky and exploded violently in the zombie horde. Firelight surged, and flesh and blood flew everywhere.

Immediately after, heavy machine guns fired wildly, bullets raining down like raindrops, causing the zombies to fall one after another.

After a fierce attack, a path was temporarily cleared in the zombie sea.

The Central Continent Team appeared without warning near the village.

Wesker, Alice, Ada Wong, and others, who were originally focused on dealing with the zombie threat, suddenly saw such a group of strangers appear and were collectively stunned, their eyes wide open.

They never expected that in this world almost destroyed by zombies, there would still be so many survivors, and many of them even had yellow skin.

"What's going on? Where did these people come from?" Alice's face was full of confusion. She unconsciously tightened her grip on her gun, watching the members of the Central Continent Team warily.

Wesker narrowed his eyes, a hint of disdain flashing in his gaze. "Interesting. It seems this world still has secrets we don't know about."

Ada Wong, on the other hand, maintained her usual calm, simply quietly observing every move of the Central Continent Team.

When the Central Continent Team members saw the protagonists of Resident Evil, hope surged in their hearts.

Under the watchful eyes of Wesker and the others, they slowly walked towards the village.

The biological monitoring system at the entrance quickly operated, scanning and detecting each member of the Central Continent Team.

After confirming safety, the Central Continent Team members entered one by one.

A large group of special forces soldiers guarded the entrance, looking around warily as they continuously ushered people inside.

Leon couldn't help but show a curious gaze when he saw those newcomers from the Central Continent Team.

He leaned closer to Ada Wong beside him and whispered, "Look at them. I feel that some of these people are particularly low quality. They don't look like survivors of the apocalypse."

Ada Wong heard this and her gaze swept over the members of the Central Continent Team, finally landing on Zhao Mokong.

She subtly furrowed her brows and told Leon, "You'd best be careful with your words. I feel that little girl could kill you in two seconds."

Leon followed Ada Wong's gaze and saw the petite Zhao Mokong.

She stood there quietly, her eyes cold, an aura that made people shiver despite the lack of cold.

Leon couldn't help but swallow, "Don't scare me, Ada." But he knew in his heart that Ada Wong never exaggerated. This seemingly delicate little girl probably possessed astonishing strength.

This world had long since gone mad. It wasn't strange for a little girl to possess superhuman strength.

The biological detection continued without a hitch. The members of the Central Continent Team passed one by one. Everything seemed smooth until the detection device aimed at Zheng Zha and Nuowa.

In that instant, the originally normal green light abruptly turned yellow, flickering urgently and emitting a sharp alarm that was particularly jarring in the tense apocalyptic atmosphere.

The gazes of Alice, Wesker, and other protagonist team members instantly focused on the instrument screen. The jumping data and displayed abnormal indicators filled their hearts with doubt and wariness.

A flash of shock passed through a scientist's eyes. He stared intently at the screen, seemingly unable to believe what he saw. Immediately after, his gaze turned to Nuowa, and he let out an exclamation: "I've never seen such strong biological characteristics!"

Facing the gazes of everyone, Nuowa showed no hesitation. His muscles instantly tensed, and his bones emitted "cracking" sounds. In the blink of an eye, he transformed into a tall, sturdy wolfman, his body hair standing on end and emitting a wild aura.

"Howl───" A prolonged wolf howl echoed in the air, startling everyone present.
