Chapter 1 - The chosen crown

Every crown is a symbol of pride, of people, of dominion.

But if one crown gleams in the sky — the others fall into shadow.

In this world, crowns cannot live in peace. They wage war...

This is Elyndor — a world soaked in magic, where mana drifts through the very air.

Here dwell seven great races: fairies, elves, vampires, dwarves, beastkin, demons, and humans.

Elyndor is divided into sixteen kingdoms, but their fates rest in the hands of only seven — the bearers of the crowns.

For the crowns choose — and their will surpasses that of any mortal.

Fairies: Lysara and Miradelle.

Elves: Sylveria, Eldorvain, Lunareth.

Vampires: Noctvale, Crimveil.

Dwarves: Bronzemar, Durnhollow.

Beastkin: Thalvar, Fenraxis, Karinwild.

Demons: Tenebris.

Humans: Valterion, Arvenor, Solareth.

Demons and humans are the most despised among all races.

For them, the gates of other kingdoms are closed, and their treaties are denied.

In the distant corner of the Solareth Kingdom lived a young man named Leonhart, together with his little sister.

Their parents had long disappeared, leaving Leonhart to work any job he could find just to feed her.

One day, the people of the kingdom gathered in the square.

Curious, Leonhart joined the crowd, not knowing what was happening.

Suddenly, a blinding light burst forth from the royal crown —

and in an instant, that crown appeared above Leonhart's head.

The people gasped.

Guards immediately brought him to the royal palace, where everyone bowed before him.

Leonhart, still in shock, turned to the kingdom's chief sage for answers.

The sage explained everything — that from this moment, the fate of the kingdom, and its people, rested in his hands.

To test them, Leonhart calmly ordered everyone to leave the throne hall.

When the room fell silent, he let out a strange, quiet laugh.

Leonhart was intelligent — strategic by nature.

His late father had once risen to the rank of general in the royal army,

and from him, Leonhart had learned much.

His father's final words echoed in his memory:

"Never bow your head to anyone. Be free — like a bird. And protect your family."

Later, Leonhart called his sister to him and explained everything that had happened.

Days passed. Then, the King of Valterion, Aren Solvare, and the Queen of Arvenor, Seraphine Lysvel, arrived to meet him.

Before Leonhart, they bowed and swore their loyalty.

Oath of Loyalty

(The hall is silent. On the throne sits the new king — Leonhart Valeen.

The crown glows faintly upon his head.

Before him kneel two rulers: Aren Solvare and Seraphine Lysvel.)

Aren Solvare (King of Valterion):

> "We, the people of Valterion, acknowledge the will of the Human Crown.

We pledge our loyalty to you, O chosen King Leonhart Valeen.

We shall raise our swords for you — but never against you."

(He bows his head. Seraphine steps forward.)

Seraphine Lysvel (Queen of Arvenor):

> "I, Queen of Arvenor, kneel before the will of the Crown.

Whomever the Crown chooses — I shall recognize as King.

With my blood, in my people's name, and by my word I swear:

Let no traitor to the Crown find peace in Arvenor's heart."

(The hall falls silent again. Both rulers lower their heads to the ground.)

All envoys together:

> "Loyalty to the Crown — above life itself.

May the Crown's light never fade.

May the path chosen by the Crown never be broken."

(Leonhart slowly stands, placing a hand upon his chest.

His eyes glimmer with a faint crimson light.)

Leonhart Valeen:

> "I accept your loyalty.

But remember this — I do not live beneath the shadow of the Crown.

I rule the Crown... yet I protect the hope of my people.

This crown is not a gift of power — it is a burden.

And I shall carry that burden... until the very end."

(At those words, a gentle light radiates from the crown, filling the hall.

All remain kneeling in reverent silence — the era of a new king has begun.)
