Lana saw a man on the platform point and shout but was not sure what was said. They were not close enough to hear speaking or shouting, just really loud sounds. She could also identify her own people based on stature and clothing as well. If Layla took a different hannya form, that would also be obvious.
Twelve people stayed on the stage, Eleven went toward Quinn. One went toward Fex and Lana recognized Silver's hair in an instant going after the man. She engaged and was swiftly close to defeat. A man stepped in and, based on what she could see, Lana decided that was their father as it appeared his was using the same ability.
Silver recovered and moved in front of Quinn, as did Edward. She could see a blonde with two spikes rescue Fex by breaking the chains, by what it looked like. He grabbed Fex and jumped high then something strange happened and it was harder to see. Now a red dome covered the plaza area. She provided names to her friend so she could help her keep track of everything. Vampires do have better vision after all.
For both of them, however, facial features were impossible from this far out with the red. They could make out when more people joined, Lana could name them but they still got hard to track with the fighting going on. Lana could see there had been two people trying to fight Quinn, a male and female. The female left him to go fight the girls and Quinn lost his focus as the girls were under attack. He went down.
Then suddenly an unknown man, Leo and that blond girl were there. From where they came, Lana had no clue. The fighting paused as they maybe talked? Then it resumed with the new man fighting three. The girl gave blood to Quinn it looked like but it was hard to see with all the people but she did go over to Layla. Quinn fought the same guy as before but recharged after fresh blood, so Lana assumed. The blond girl attacked the woman who hurt Layla?
Layla did transform and helped fight her. The one she assumed was Borden and Vorden worked together to take out a bunch of people. He was doing well at this point but wasn't before the reinforcements came in.
Borden disappeared and Logan, Vorden, and Peter looked to be almost panicked based on movements they could see. Leo helped Silver and Fex in that fight. Quinn fought well but he was soon down again. The guy who attacked him was suddenly shrouded in darkness then he, too, was down. The new stranger was impressive.
Suddenly three men left a castle and seemed to open the red dome and walked in. The fighting stopped and it looked like talking had resumed. Lana watched as all her friends surrounded this strange man. They then vanished and there was nothing but a shadow moving across the ground. She shouted in her head. MAX! carry me, follow that shadow!
As Max picked her up, "there's a notebook down there for you to study the herbs I have planted, the tree will get you down, leave by the front door after the delivery unless I get back first. Nice seeing you!" She hoped her friend heard everything. She spoke quickly but was flying away toward the end. Caser had jumped onto his perch. He had been in her lap watching as well.
Max heard where they were going with his super hearing so even though the shadow was moving fast, he still got her there as the others were popping out. She already had her bag off her shoulder and was handing out blood to the vampires in need of it before the strange new vampire had the door opened. Lana made Quinn take one and drink it even though he got blood from Vorden. She didn't like the look of his energy.
Lana then got out the plants and started healing injuries starting with Vorden, then Logan, then Erin and Cia. She also handed a box of food to Peter. The group was walking through the halls, Fex and Silver debating if Quinn was the leader of the tenth, the potentials of that and what would happen with Fex. Then Fex asked Arthur about the Punishers, stating the adults didn't tell them anything.
So Lana got his name then and was only part way through healing the humans at the time. She was still working on it when they got to a lounge room. There were two 5-person couches and a desk with one chair facing the door. The couches were each on a side of the door and canted toward the desk so everyone could see each other as they sat down.
Lana assessed their health status from the front then worked from behind, placing the plants on their necks or faces so they could all see Arthur while he told his story.
Once the humans were good, Lana gave a thumbs up or down to Peter to see if he was good or not. He returned a thumbs up pretty quick. She expected him to have to think about what she was asking him first. Quinn was next. His health was returned but his stamina was really low. She had something for that so she used that plant on him, though he tried to fight it saying he was fine. She walked way once she was done telling him he was welcome without hearing a thank you.
Then Lana took a deep breath and looked at Vorden's shoulder. All this time Arthur was still talking and she was trying to pay attention so she could learn but healing her friends was a top priority. She didn't quite understand Borden's issue and she noticed Logan looking at her strangely. She realized Borden had human and beast energy so she needed a human and a beast side by side to check him out.
Next, she pulled out sandwiches and handed those out to the humans. She wasn't expecting Erin so she used a whip to cut hers in half to share it.
She didn't want to disturb Arthur so she decided to take Borden from Vorden and take a seat on the floor because there was no more room for her to sit elsewhere. She could compare Borden to Caser while sitting and listening. There were tables at the ends of the couches. She sat as close to Vorden as she could and placed Caser on the table to compare them.
Caser had his tentacles around her wrist so he was okay with that. She could see that there were no wounds, even internally. His human aura had no issues. It appeared his beast energy had diminished to the point it was almost nonexistent. There was nothing she could do to help him. She decided to hold him until the story-telling time had ended.
