Chapter 39 - Preparing for the grand live

"Now, Viola Regina is co-hosting the event, so please gather the members."

"I didn't say I'd do it!!"

And just like that, swept up by momentum and Light Hello's enthusiasm, I was officially part of the Grand Live project—and tasked with recruiting participants.

Fifty people? That sounded impossible.

But somehow… I did it.

"You gathered them unexpectedly…"

"Well, if they get to sing center for one song, everyone wants in."

Turns out, most students at the training center are eager to stand out. With Lovely's help, the idea spread quickly. Not just first-years—second-years joined too.

The promise of singing and dancing practice, especially with rumors that it would help with future Winning Live performances, added fuel to the fire.

"So here's the list."

"Thank you."

I handed the list to Hello, who scanned it with practiced eyes.

"Looks like you've got everything we need."

"Wasn't this supposed to be your job?"

Honestly, I wasn't sure how necessary I was.

Hello had done most of the heavy lifting—designing the list format, creating flyers, scheduling the first performance, and even recruiting instructors for singing and dance.

She'd also launched the fan club project. We'd already filmed a promo video featuring me, Rice-chan, and Thank You. Hello handled everything—script, setup, shooting. I just showed up and talked.

If this succeeds, I'll gain both recognition and income. It's almost too convenient.

Symboli Rudolph's old suspicions about me resurfaced. But Hello's a professional and that makes her even more intimidating. I'm pretty sure the profit-sharing will be brutal.

"Don't be so wary. Viola's helping me."

"…Sacrificial personnel?"

"As expected of a trainer—this is the last time a minor becomes a human pillar."

"There's a bit of that."

"I'll cut my losses before it gets that far. Viola's role is simple: trust."

"Trust?"

"People won't join a live performance led by strangers. But if it's a friend asking, they'll listen. I don't have close ties anymore. You do. That's why we got this many people."

"I guess that makes sense…"

I tilted my head. I still thought the plan itself was strong. But maybe Hello was right.

"Viola-chan, you really don't realize how popular you are. And you don't convey it well."

"Rice-chan, I'm not popular."

"It is precisely because you're like this that you don't realize it yourself."

"Ah."

I'm just a boring horse girl who talks about training and studying. Lovely probably helped more than I did—she's full of warmth and charisma.

And yet… Hello and Rice-chan said the same thing as each other...

Now on earth is that possible?
