This part came actually later than expected
Commander Tav thought to himself at the beginning
'Hmm...2 squads seem decent. 36th looks just weak, 37th completely disorganized...'
'1st wave will cut the forces by a 4th....maybe a 3rd.'
'2nd...will have to see, hopefully Mac will handle the problems'
But the 1st wave was completed in a very good manner, giving him confidence for the second.
'we were winning a second ago' He looked at the battlefield
Slight miscalculation on his side, from the fact that he EXCPECTED something from the gates. And didn`t consider such devastation at once.
'why didn`t we win'? stood there, starring
4 goblin giants chased after the scattered men, piercing them or crushing their bodies.
'Why???'
More and more soldiers died out.
'WHY???'
"WHY THE F**K ARE YOU NOT FIGTHING???" Marcus shouted instead of him at this point
the 37th squad turned and looked at him while running.
He was trembling, but his blade was pointed forward.
"ADAM!!!! KILL THAT THING" he was especially scared when looking at Adam
tears started to run down his cheek, barely visible from under his helm.
Adam stopped.
And grinned
"YES SIR" and ran towards the giant
'He IS crazy" the rest of his squad looked at him, charging on his own at the giant
...
But just like a second ago, he pulled them into the fight, he could do it again
"FOLLOW THE CRAZY BASTARD!!!!" Ben screamed with his booming voice, also trembling and crying.
the whole 6 soldiers left swallowed their spit and charged back into the front.
Adam focused on the giant and is flag spear. No moment to witness his great attempt at getting the soldiers, nor time to look at dead comrades.
*deep inhale*
"KRUAAGGHHG" the giant swung his flag
*exhale* Adam turned right and went with the direction of the spear`s tip, covered by the fabric.
He was gone from goblin`s vision.
"HUGHG?" it looked around trying to find him, but when he looked back forward ,he saw the 37th squad remains charging at him
Screaming and waving their swords around.
*GRRRUGHG tssssssssskt* a low growl from the giant, was cut short by a short stream of blood coming from its leg.
As it turned around, Adam was stabbing its legs. When he got noticed, he just smiled and ran away.
And again, a pissed of giant goblin tried to kill him.
Just to get slashed in his other leg.
And then his thighs, then his stomach and finally the chest.
By a group of small men, with swords that were like butter knifes to him.
"Thanks guys" Adam got in a tight handshake with Ben
"No problem, you murder psycho"
"Heh, any time"
As they looked right, the giants were still running around, though no one was killed for a while.
"Let`s just get this over with" and the squad picked themselves up and went to help the others.
Marcus had to sprint to catch up to them.
As they walked past Tav who was still trying to cope with the situation, panting for air, he gave him a smirk and kept on walking with the squad.
'Huh?" commander finally snapped out of this shock, and looked at the giant`s body in front of him.
It wasn`t his shielded soldier or his nicely organized soldier squad but a bunch of guys with swords and a crazy guy leading them. That`s all.
"Commander!!" The 41st squad rushed to help him get up "Are you alright??"
"I`m...I`m fine, thanks....What happened?"
"They did" Mac, the guy with the shield pointed at the 37th squad
And after a short while
[Wave 2 completed]
[Large gate event - joined fight has been completed]
[828 enemies killed]
[12 civilian casualties]
[30 soldiers deceased]
[Best squad performance : 37th squad, commander Marcus Vance]

"WOOOOOOO" the bald squad imidietly started cheering
The shorty squad with the 2 bladed soldier just started hugging each other
While the 37th squad decided to honor its best member by throwing him into the air repeatedly
"Guys" Adam tried to talk to them
*Up he goes*
"GUyS"
*and up*
"guYsYss! " Adam covered his face
When he got down, dropped on the ground actually
*bluerghhg"
"Please don`t" his face was dirty with both vomit and blood
"Oh s**t. MEDIC "
...
The whole squad was stunned. There was no medic in the squad
"AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA" they took him on their shoulders and ran towards the street
"FIND THE HOSPITAL" someone shouted out
Marcus frantically pulled out his phone almost dropping it
"Got it!! LEFT" and the group disapeared in the nearest alley
Tav watching it smiled to himself
"Thank`s guys" and went to celebrate the rest of the survivors, while the remains of others slowly turned to smoke
