"SQUADS. SURROUND THE ENEMIES" Tav finally got the hang of the situation when the green horde got eliminated.
37th squad started to push through the goblin remains and close up behind the giants and the baldies got from the front.
Other 2 squads slowly came onto the side, forming a nice barrier with all the other soldiers.
Adam meanwhile had to quickly back away, again , since the two previously only slightly interested, were now pretty pissed.
"Get`em `ere boy" The great-sword soldier started to walk towards him, well, towards the giant goblins.
And with him the double-blader, slightly behind and slightly flanking.
'F**k you think I`m doing???' Adam really wanted to snap back at him but
*pant pant F**k pant pant doin* that was the only thing heard from him.
And to add up, it was drawn out by the two monstrosities.
"GRAUAAGHAAAA" x 2
When Adam finally ran past the shield soldier, the fight broke out instantly.
Great sword struck the left one`s shins and the right one`s calve was swiftly cut open by the other weirdo.
As for their charge, it was cut short by the shield in front of them, who managed to block one of the spears, stopping it completely.
"NOW NOW NOW" Tav was commanding basically anyone who listened at this point, which happened to be Adam.
He turned on his heel and went for the goblin giant that was trying to get back up.
*Woooooosh* the sword went into the other healthy leg of the giant
"AHGAHGHAGAAAAAAA" the remaining big goblin swung his enormous flag standard at the humans around him, but not only were they small and fast, the flag was blocking his view completely.
So there was a running silver covered guy
*Swish swoosh*
Gone.
And so was its left knee
Both giants fell to their knees. When they did, the humans
SMILED
*blade cleaning,knuckles cracking*
"Sup fuckers"
And the swords went deep into their skulls
[Wave 1 complete]
"REGROUP. FAST" Tav had to get everyone back into the squads and into formation
The weirdos slowly cleaned themselves up and went to each of their squads.
[Wave 2 will begin now]
"ADAM. Back of the line" Marcus casually patted his shoulder
"THE REST - prepare for the sequel"
[Good luck soldiers]
The second wave appeared.
No more horde. No more chaos
4 giant goblins
In front lines of archers covered by lines of shield goblins
"MEN" Tav shouted from the middle "ADVANCE"
*gulp*
"I SAID ADVANCE"
And step by step the squads marched forward
Giant goblins waved the flags, and a cloud of arrows covered the clouds.
"BRACEEEEE"
Swords used as small shields and crouched to try to avoid any of them
And the arrows fell, many many missed, but just as many hit the armor.
Adam had to stick really close with others, but he could bare it.
"ADVANCE. ADVANCE. ADVANCE" Tav kept on the same command over and over.
Again and again, the arrows fell down.
Blood splattered, but this time the blood was not green.
But dark red.
The soldiers had to go through it. Through the arrows, through the bodies and pools of both sides blood.
Forward.
Until they got in literal touch with the enemy forces
"ATTACK" All the commanders shouted out the command.
Soldiers tried their best to break the enemy line. Bashing and slashing at the shields. Everything they could.
Very very slowly, the goblins got pushed back. But it took a long time.
More arrows came from above. Soldiers started to feel the pain joined with the tiredness combined, making the sensation of absolute hopelessness with the nice addition of fear.
"AH COME ON" Adam killed 3 shields as he could not stand being at the back anymore
"Guys, why are you so f***ing slow" Stabbing another one in the neck from the side.
And his squad saw him, having fun and smiling, so they decided to copy him. With a similar grin on their faces, they grabbed the shields and stabbed.
After the line was down, the archer slaughter begun. They stood no chance.
But the 4 giants this time were not just standing around as they begun to march through the goblins.
"BACK OFF. EVERYBODY, BACK AWAY" Tav started to issue the command, but just as he did the flag decapitated 2 front soldiers of the 37th squad.
And the newly found morale were scattered, the formation scattered and men scattered too.
Adam, well couldn`t fight so many at once, so he ran away too.
