Chapter 5 - Nadia's POV

I was shocked. I was beyond shocked that a stranger kisses me. I tried so hard to focus on getting my work done and trying to get home quickly, but seeing Damien trying to get to know me makes me feel happy. Maybe my lips were stilled that I felt Damien pulled away from me.

"I'm sorry. I didn't mean to do that. Something just snaps in me, and I did what I did," Damien tried to reason with me guiltily and I finally get to see how cute he looks.

"It's fine. I wish the kiss wouldn't stop," I whispered the last part to myself looking down at my own feet, hoping he didn't hear me, but I guess luck wasn't on my side because now Damien looks at me with hunger as if he's about to eat me whole.

"Should we order something? I'm starting to feel famish a little," I tried to divert his attention to something else, and relief washed over me when he holds up the menu and starts scanning the food.

We placed our food orders and just stare at each other. His green eyes. Those green eyes are something I tried to ingrain in my brain forever, hoping it might stay for all my life. His facial features are something I tried to picturein my brain till eternity.

"Something on my face? Or just the fact that you wish the kiss won't stop," at this point I knew Damien is teasing me about what I said back then. I tried so hard not to flush my cheeks but as I said, luck was never on my side.

"No, I was just looking past you, not at you," I tried to regain my composure and make sure he doesn't see me waver. We ate our late lunch and by 4pm, I was all set to go home. I was relieved when Keith left about an hour ago with his girl and I started to pack my things.

"Thank you for saving me back there. I'm so sorry if I dragged you into my mess. Here, type in the amount of repayment you want and your number, and I will transfer you," I gave him my phone, secretly hoping he would not ask for much as I was still doing my final internship.

"It's okay. You don't have to worry about it. Thank you for including me to this meal with you," Damien took my phone even though he said I don't have to worry about it. Only when he passed me back my phone did I saw his phone number.

"Come on, let me walk you out. How did you get here?" Damien asked as we stand up and walked towards the exit of the food premises.

"Ohh, I actually drove here. It's my friend's car so I'm going to pick her up from her intern job and we'll be having sleepover at her place," I don't know why I gave Damien my update.

Usually, people give their whereabouts to their specific person, but I was giving them to Damien. Something must really mess up my brain after that small kiss.

"Sure, let's walk towards the car. I drove here too, and I need to get home to feed my cats," Damien said as he started wearing his shirt. Did I ever tell you that he was half naked with me all along. That's why I couldn't stop blushing and tried so hard to either look at his face or behind him, because God if I ever looked below his chin, I might pass out.

When we reach towards the car-park area, he held me by my waist and leaned me closer to him. I was startled when suddenly he bends slightly lower to my lips, kissing me softly and holding me tight. I respond to his kisses sloppily because yes, I was nervous and did not know how to kiss a stranger.
