"I think it's best for us to go our separate ways. I don't think I want to continue this relationship," Nadia told Keith, the guy who she foolishly fell
in love with after knowing that he's a womanizer.
Nadia loved Keith throughout their 7 months relationship but its high time that she wakes up from her fantasy and knowing that Keith never loved her, but her money that she earns through working part time. She even gave up her first love for someone who's not even worth her time.
"Nadia, no! You know I love you very much. Please don't leave me. I swear me and her
are just friends and nothing more than that," She can feel Keith pleading with her to make her think that their relationship can be save but he didn't know that she has long gotten rid of him in her heart.
"Friends? You don't f**k your friends, Keith! That is the number 1 rule! You don't kiss
your friend or sleep with your friends, but you broke that rule, and you expect me to forgive you? You broke me beyond repair and now I want nothing to do with you!" Nadia shout at the top of her voice and walked out from the space she shared with Keith.
Nadia knew she needed a release, so she took her car keys and drove to the beach where she always winds down whenever she's feeling stress. She lays her mat that she always keeps in her car, take her laptop and just started working on her intern assignments. She knew she needed to graduate her internship to go to
a good college. Anything for her to get away from all the dramas that she's facing.
"Hi, umm can I borrow your portable charger there? My phone is going flat soon," a handsome stranger walks up to Nadia while she's busy in her world.
It took her seconds to look up to a pair of beautiful green eyes, dirty blond hair and muscle toned-up man that practically had her drooling. "I'm sorry. What did you say?" Nadia had to make sure she did not actually drool while staring at the man-goddess in front of her.
"Heh, I asked if I could borrow your portable charger there. My phone is going flat soon," the handsome devil repeats his words slowly, but Nadia's attention was on his pinkish lips that looks like a snack to her.
"Ohh yea sure sorry. I was distracted for a little bit. Yea sure you can borrow it. Here," Nadia handed him the portable charger, secretly hoping that he will choose to stay with her throughout the entire time she's here.
"Great! Thanks for the help. Do you mind if I sit here with you? In case you need your portable back," the guy asked her while patiently waiting for her answer.
"Yea you can sit on my mat. It's fine since I'm alone." Yea, now she sounds like she's desperate for male attention. "So, what's your name?" Nadia asked even though she knows she's just going to keep calling him the handsome devil.
"Damien. Damien Owens and I'm guessing you're Nadia?"
"What… How did you..."
"Your portable. It says here 'N-A-D-I-A', right?"
Nadia could only hope at that moment the ground would actually open and swallow her
with her sorrows.
