"Mr Owen, are you stalking me?" was the first thing she said to me with her angry eyes and her small pout. The same pout that I keep replaying of kissing every single night before I go to bed.
"Excuse me? What do you mean 'stalking'? If anything, I think you are stalking me judging by how I just get off from my gym session," I threw back at the accusation at her and she clearly did not take it well.
I looked up past beyond her and saw the other 3 ladies looking at her. One whom I am most definitely familiar with while the other 2 ladies look rather old to be their friends.
"I am here with my mother and Nemaly's and I saw you and Mr Reid coming out from there. Who knows maybe you were hiding there waiting for us to pass by," okay, now she is talking bonkers. Ashton was muffling his chuckles, clearly enjoying seeing me being accused of stalking my woman. No, not yet but she is definitely my woman in my head.
"Who would stalk someone wearing a loose shirt and gym shorts, looking all sweaty when they could just wait for you by an airconditioned place? It's idiotic, don't you think?" I definitely saw the shift in her eyes, telling her whatever I said make sense.
Nemaly and their moms walks towards us after seeing how Nadia did not move away from me.
"Hi Mr Owens and Mr Reid. Fancy seeing you both here," Nemaly was trying to reduce the tension between me and her cute friend here.
"Mom, mummy, this is Mr Owens. My boss at Knight Enterprise, the place that I am interning. That this is his friend, also his assistant." Well, I must say Nemaly has more manners than her feisty friend here.
Me and Ashton just nodded our heads and the 2 ladies, and we receive their warmth smile, while someone was still looking at me, frowning.
"Come on, let's go. They clearly need to get cleaned up and we have a whole day ahead of us," Nadia's voice rings out trying to pull everyone out of their senses. I can't say I was disappointed, but I know she's just embarrassed because one, her mom was right there in front of us and two, I am wearing something people might say a little bit indecent.
"Well, it was nice meeting you Mr Owens and Mr Reid. Come by the house for dinner if you have the chance to" Nadia's mom was saying to us and I had to sneak a peek at Nadia, and my God her expression was funny. I was clearly enjoying the way her mom was trying to play games with her and she looks horrified by her suggestion.
"We will be glad too and please just call me Damien and him Ashton," I replied to her mom politely while smirking at Nadia. I know she will hate me but then again, I really missed her after last night's encounter, and I do want to make it up to her for my behaviour.
"Great. Nadia don't forget to bring them over for dinner tomorrow," her mom was eager to invite us to dinner, and I am eager to have that lips be tasted against mine soon.
Nadia drags her mom away from us and turned back, glaring at me for agreeing to have dinner with her and her mom. I looked at her and just winked before I walk over to my car.
