She was just a fangirl — one among millions who adored him from behind a glowing screen. But destiny has its own sense of humor. A single message, a sudden opportunity, and in the blink of an eye… she found herself standing in his world — face to face with the man she once only whispered about through her phone screen. He was perfection wrapped in silence — beautiful, distant, and carved from the kind of loneliness that fame never heals. And she? She was chaos, warmth, and everything real he’d forgotten existed. But was He....was he what she thought he was, or a completed different person who might not be as perfect and he seemed. When dreams turn into reality, hearts forget the rules. Because sometimes… the person you were never meant to meet becomes the one your soul can’t live without.

Chapter 1 - In Love With The Brightest Star In The Sky

For as long as she could remember, Selene had lived with one constant in her life — him.

Not a friend, not a lover, but a distant star who shone through screens and melodies.

Easton Bright, her idol. Her reason to smile through dull mornings, the rhythm behind her teenage years, the man whose voice could make her heart swell until she felt it might burst. Selene had always been a fan. Not the casual kind who watched a few music videos and moved on, but the kind who knew every lyric, every small gesture, and every change in her idol's hairstyle. Her room looked more like a fan museum — walls covered with posters, shelves filled with albums and merch.

"You're not supposed to be this cool and cute together… it's illegal." Selene typed frantically in the comment section, fingers hovering over the keyboard, writing at light speed. It's the 25th comment she had written; the reason—Easton's music video just dropped.

It was past midnight, and Selene sat on the floor of her apartment, wrapped in a blanket, eyes fixed on the glowing screen. The lights were off except for the soft blue from her laptop. Selene's half-finished cup of coffee sat beside her keyboard, forgotten long ago, its surface a mirror for the flickering light of the video playing before her. On-screen, Easton laughed — that unguarded, easy laugh that made millions of people fall for him a little harder each time.

She instinctively grinned back at the screen, whispering to herself,

"Ah, he's too cute… He really doesn't even try, does he?"

The video autoplayed into yet another clip — one of those chaotic variety shows where idols were made to do ridiculous challenges in the name of entertainment.

Selene sat cross-legged on her bed, her laptop balanced over a pillow, eyes glued to the screen.

On it, Easton was crawling on the floor trying to catch a paper cup with his mouth. His sharp jawline, that perfectly proportioned small face, and the usual effortless grace he carried on stage were nowhere to be seen. Instead, he looked adorably lost, laughing through his failure as his teammates yelled instructions over the noise. The camera zoomed in on him — hair slightly messy, expression caught between embarrassment and laughter. And just like that, her heart gave that familiar flutter again.

It wasn't just about how handsome he was — it was the way he seemed… human, even while the world worshipped him. She couldn't help but laugh along.

"Oh my god, he's hopeless," she whispered, grinning.

And then — ping!

A small notification popped up on the bottom corner of her laptop.

1 New Email — Aurora Entertainment.

Her smile faltered slightly. Aurora Entertainment?

Curiosity took over. She clicked the mail open, eyes scanning the subject line.

Application Update – Aurora Entertainment

For a second, she blinked, not registering it.

Then her eyes widened.

"Oh, wait—" she muttered, fumbling for the trackpad.

She had almost forgotten she'd applied a few weeks ago — for a job at Aurora Entertainment, a media company that managed and produced international projects. She hadn't expected a reply this soon.

Her heart raced as she clicked the email.

"Dear Selene Vale,

We're pleased to inform you that you have been selected for the position of Assistant Coordinator at Aurora Entertainment.

Further details regarding your onboarding process will be shared soon. Congratulations, and welcome to the Aurora family."

For a moment, she just stared at the words. Then she let out a quiet laugh — half disbelief, half pure excitement.

"Wait, I actually got it?" she whispered, covering her mouth. For a second, her mind went blank. Then the memory rushed back — that late-night online application she sent half-jokingly after reading about a job opening. That's how she ended up joining Aurora Entertainment, an international agency that handled music artists and media projects.

She joined Aurora Entertainment as an assistant coordinator, helping out with small event setups, artist schedules, and project planning. It was tiring but exciting. The more she worked, the more she learnt about the world behind the glamour — the meetings, the travel, the chaos.

The first few weeks at Aurora Entertainment were nothing like Selene had imagined.

Her days began with rushing through the subway, clutching her ID badge that still smelt faintly of new plastic. The office was always buzzing.

Her job as a talent coordination assistant sounded glamorous on paper. In reality, it was mostly scheduling interviews, reviewing music release drafts, making sure stylists had the right fittings, and emailing managers who barely replied.

Still, she loved it.She loved watching everything come together — a trainee's nervous audition turning into a debut, a song rehearsal turning into a full stage performance. Sometimes, she'd sneak into the small studio room during lunch breaks — pretending to check lighting but really just watching through the glass as trainees practised. The look on their faces—focused, tired, hopeful—she wondered if Easton would have been like that. Only at that moment did she place a hand on the glass wall. "Someday… even if I can't meet you, maybe I'll work on a project that reaches you," she whispered.

Months turned into years.

She learned to handle pressure, long calls, event nights that stretched past midnight. She was no longer the nervous newcomer who printed reports twice just to be sure. She'd grown — sharper, steadier.

Then, one morning, an internal mail floated into her inbox:

"Aurora Entertainment — Overseas Project Training Nomination."

She froze, coffee halfway to her lips. The company had selected a few employees for international training programs. The destinations were listed in bold: A, E, J, C.

Country C, Where he lived, trained, performed.

Her heart skipped.

For years she'd imagined what it might be like — the streets, the music shows, even the random cafés he might've mentioned once in an interview.

And now, somehow, her name was on that list. That night, she went out with her friends to celebrate.

"I can't believe you're finally going to C!" one of them shouted over the café music.

"You're literally living your fangirl dream," another laughed.

A smiled, shaking her head. "I'm going for work, not to stalk him."

But deep down, she was thrilled.

When she reached home, her parents were waiting. Her father smiled proudly; her mother hugged her tight. It felt like the start of something new — and somehow, something she had been moving toward her whole life.
