Chapter 15 - Chapter 15 I'll Let You Go This Time

The two held hands, each carrying a lunchbox. Ino was about to knock on the door.

"Who are you looking for?" Lin Mo asked with a smile.

But in his heart, he was actually a little surprised.

Wasn't Ino quite close with Sakura Haruno? How come she seems so close to Hinata now?

How strange.

"Lin Mo-sensei, we came specifically to see you," Ino quickly replied.

"Me?" Lin Mo was even more surprised, asking with a playful tone, "You're not here to confess to me, are you?"

As he spoke, he even deliberately winked.

This wasn't exactly a student-teacher romance; he had indeed received many love letters from students, and they were all their initiative!

Besides, he didn't plan on being a teacher for long; after all, he was only eighteen and a transmigrator.

"Oh dear!"

Hinata's face instantly turned crimson.

She wasn't nervous because she liked Lin Mo.

It was just that whenever she made eye contact with Lin Mo, she would recall the things he wrote in the diary.

With terms like "Hinata Wife" and Lin Mo's demeanor, how could she not be shy!

"Bang--"

Hinata was about to collapse dizzily to the ground, but Ino caught her at the critical moment.

Ino inwardly exclaimed, "Help, Hinata, why are you fainting again?"

Ino then said, "Hold on, otherwise your little thoughts will be too obvious."

Ino also said, "Girls can be shy, but they can't faint, otherwise what will happen on their wedding day?"

"W-wedding night?"

Hearing what Ino said through their telepathy, Hinata originally wanted to tough it out.

But when she heard the words "wedding night," her mind instantly went blank.

After another glance at Lin Mo, she immediately turned her head away.

Ino: "..."

Lin Mo: "..."

Why is Naruto's treatment suddenly falling on me?

The examples of Toneri and Sasuke are right there; Hinata isn't the type to faint just by seeing a handsome guy.

How strange!

"Lin Mo-sensei, why are you still standing there stunned? Come help!"

Ino, with one arm around Hinata, urged him.

"Oh."

Lin Mo bent down slightly, his hands passing under Hinata's neck and knees, picking her up in his arms.

This was at Ino's request, not him deliberately taking advantage.

"So, what exactly do you two want with me?" Lin Mo asked.

"It's not convenient to talk here, Lin Mo-sensei, come with me."

Ino glanced at the teachers' office, flicked her braid, and headed towards the nearby stairs.

Lin Mo, holding Hinata, followed her.

As the three stepped onto the stairs, a pink figure appeared around the corner at the end of the hallway.

"Ino and Hinata, what exactly is going on?"

"Could it be that Ino doesn't like Sasuke and has decided to pursue Lin Mo-sensei? And Hinata is helping Ino with ideas?"

"..."

A flurry of questions whirled in Sakura Haruno's mind until Naruto's voice came from behind her.

"Sakura, what are you busy with here?"

Sakura Haruno turned her head, seeing Naruto's goofy smile and a written apology in his hand, her eyes immediately lit up: "What are you doing here?"

"I'm here to give Lin Mo-sensei my apology letter," Naruto said bluntly. "I'm telling you, as long as I write a guarantee, Lin Mo-sensei will definitely teach me Clone Jutsu (Bunshin no Jutsu)."

Sakura Haruno didn't pay much attention to this, only saying, "Lin Mo-sensei isn't in the office, come with me."

"With me? Where to?"

"You'll know when we get there," Sakura Haruno urged.

She wasn't tracking them; she was helping a classmate find their teacher.

"Can you tell me now?"

Upon reaching the rooftop of the teaching building, Lin Mo gently placed Hinata on the picnic blanket Ino had spread out and asked.

Ino didn't rush to answer, but instead gently nudged Hinata awake, then said, "Sensei, we actually wanted to treat you to a meal."

"Treat me to a meal?"

"It's for that three-thousand-word essay," Ino said with a smile. "Hinata and I both don't want to write it. Look, we'll treat you to a bento, so you don't have to make us write it, okay?"

"Oh?" Lin Mo's lips curved into a faint smile. "Ino, I don't believe you didn't realize I was joking."

"I did, but Hinata is too earnest; she insisted on writing it," Ino feigned a helpless sigh.

"After all, it's homework assigned by the teacher," Hinata muttered softly, fiddling with her fingers.

Lin Mo inwardly grumbled, "I don't believe it! Hinata is honest, but how could she come up with this idea? These two girls definitely have something going on."

[So funny, so funny, so hilarious!]

[Hinata Wife and Ino Wife seem a bit different from what I imagined. So many things are unexpected. This is indeed a real world; real people are living beings, not as unchanging as characters in a TV show.]

[I've decided to accept their lunch invitation to see what they're really up to.]

As soon as these words came out, the faces of the girls holding the diary copy immediately changed.

Lin Mo found all of this quite real, but they were more concerned about the "variables."

Sure enough, Hyuga Hinata and Ino Yamanaka also had diaries, just like them.

So, they've also started taking the initiative?

Things were getting interesting.

"Yūgao, this Lin Mo is definitely not a good guy," Anko Mitarashi whispered to Yūgao Uzuki.

The two were walking towards the Kurama clan's residence, intending to find Kurenai Yuhi to confirm their suspicions.

"How did you figure that out?"

"He actually called Hyuga Hinata and Ino Yamanaka 'Wives'!"

"To you, we are anime characters, just like when you watch TV shows, don't you often call handsome actors 'husband'?"

"That's different, he's already admitted this is reality."

"Maybe he just said it casually. Even if not, isn't it common for men to have multiple wives? Which of those nobles doesn't have three wives and six concubines? Why don't you criticize them?"

"Uh..." Anko was speechless for a moment, then got a little annoyed: "Why do you always speak up for that bad man? You haven't really fallen for him, have you? I remember you're not the type who only looks at faces."

Yūgao Uzuki stopped, saying earnestly, "I don't know about the future, but at least for now, I have no designs on Lin Mo."

"I'm not trying to excuse Lin Mo by saying all this, but I hope you can change your attitude."

"Don't be hostile towards Lin Mo over trivial matters, or you'll be the one to suffer."

"Even if he's a playboy, that's his business. If you're not interested in him, don't meddle so much."

"If you have even a slight interest in him, knowing this beforehand means you don't really care that much."

After speaking, Yūgao Uzuki continued on her way.

Anko paused, then sighed, "As expected of the rational Yūgao Uzuki, she sees things so clearly."

At this moment, Lin Mo sat directly on the picnic blanket, smiling as he said, "Coincidentally, I didn't prepare lunch, so I'll reluctantly accept your kind offer."

Hearing this, Ino and Hinata exchanged glances, almost unable to hold back their laughter.

Originally, they were a little nervous, but Lin Mo's casual remark in the diary put them greatly at ease.

No matter how smart you are, you wouldn't have guessed that we already knew you forgot your lunch and deliberately prepared an extra portion to get close to you, hoping to pry some information out of this transmigrator's "mouth."

However, Lin Mo-sensei truly is someone who doesn't play by the rules, actually calling them "Wives" right in front of them.

Looking closely at Lin Mo's handsome face, the two girls' cheeks flushed slightly.

"Then let's dig in."

Ino gestured for Hinata to open the bento boxes together.

There were four portions in total, each packed full with a rich variety of dishes.

Lin Mo examined them carefully, a peculiar expression appearing on his face.

Ino noticed this detail and looked at the bento boxes a few more times.

Immediately after, she was completely stunned.

She hadn't noticed before, but now she realized that the amount of food in Hinata's bento was even more than her own and the other person's combined.

Although Hinata was from the Hyuga Clan and practiced Gentle Fist, she was so small; at most, she could only eat one portion.

So what was with the extra portion?

Lin Mo-sensei must have also noticed this problem.

Ino Yamanaka thought, "Hinata-chan, this is it, we're done for."

Ino Yamanaka: I love tomato pudding pork belly, and that's what I prepared for myself, but I prepared sushi for Lin Mo-sensei. He shouldn't notice.

Ino Yamanaka: But your portion is way too much; he'll definitely suspect you prepared it specially for him. There's no explaining this now.

Ino Yamanaka: What should we do? How about you make a sacrifice and pretend to be a big eater?

"..."

Hinata didn't say anything, but her face was as red as an apple.

Actually, she didn't need to pretend at all, because she was already a big eater.

She couldn't keep this a secret today.

Hyuga Hinata: Ino-chan, don't worry, there's really no need to pretend.

Lin Mo understood her appetite; there was no need to hide it from Ino.

Ino Yamanaka: What? What do you mean by that?

Hyuga Hinata:

[It's written in the check-in records; other things might be wrong, but Hinata Wife's iron stomach is absolutely genuine.]

[Speaking of which, to capture someone's heart, you must first capture their stomach. Isn't it easy to deal with Hinata Wife using Chinese cuisine?]

Lin Mo pulled out the diary and took a photo of the bento in front of him.

This scene was indeed worth commemorating.

"?"

Ino was completely bewildered.

Not only did Lin Mo not suspect the portion size of the bento, but he also found it quite normal.

Was this normal?

But then, recalling Hinata's words, Ino suddenly understood.

"Hiss..."

Ino was too surprised to speak.

Hinata looked so petite, how could she eat so much?

"Hinata is truly worthy of being from the Hyuga Clan. Practicing taijutsu and Gentle Fist daily must consume a lot of energy."

Lin Mo said considerately, giving Hinata an out, then continued, "I don't have a big appetite; I'll just eat a little."

[I remember Hinata Wife could eat forty-six bowls of ramen after she grew up, defeating even the famous Akimichi Clan big eaters, and she won the big eater competition, seemingly with ease.]

[Although she might not be able to eat that much now, these bentos are definitely not enough to even fill her teeth.]

[I'll eat less, and then secretly go out to buy something else to eat later.]

Lin Mo looked at Hinata with anticipation.

They say beautiful people make you want to look at them more, and Hinata is not only beautiful but also eats without reservation.

It would be a pity not to see it live!

"Hiss~"

The women holding the diary copy all gasped.

Forty-six bowls of ramen, defeating even the renowned Akimichi Clan big eaters of the Ninja World, and still having energy to spare.

This was too outrageous!

"Mmph~"

Hinata, who was trying to hold on, saw this information and once again fainted dramatically.

Ino: "..."

"What's wrong?" Lin Mo was a little puzzled.

Why did Hinata faint so easily?

Just then, a voice suddenly came from nearby: "Wow, Lin Mo-sensei, you guys are actually hiding here, secretly eating delicious food!"

Lin Mo looked back and saw that it was Naruto and Sakura Haruno who had just come out of the rooftop entrance.

Naruto said, unable to stop himself from swallowing his saliva.

Looking at all that delicious food, he couldn't buy it even if he had the money.

"Forget it."

Lin Mo decided he would treat them to this lunch.

Let Hinata Wife eat her fill, and he could also eat to his heart's content.

"Then let's go eat barbecue."

Lin Mo swiftly moved his hands, forming hand signs.

Ox, Dog, Dragon, Rat, Dog, Boar, Snake, Tiger. After a series of movements, he shouted, "Shadow Clone Jutsu!"

With a "bang!", a Shadow Clone suddenly appeared. Lin Mo casually threw his wallet to the clone and said, "Go buy me some barbecue and bring it back."

"Understood," the Shadow Clone nodded and disappeared in the blink of an eye.

Ino had no particular reaction, while Sakura Haruno's eyes widened, and even Naruto looked up from the food, saying in surprise, "Clones, clones can move!?"

Lin Mo looked at him speechlessly, thinking, "It really is you!"

Sakura Haruno couldn't stand it anymore and said to Naruto, "What 'move'? That's a Shadow Clone, alright?"

"Shadow Clone is a B-rank Ninjutsu created by Second Hokage Tobirama Senju, which creates physical clones through Chakra. The principle is to evenly distribute the user's Chakra. The clones have the caster's consciousness and a certain degree of defense. When the Shadow Clone is dispelled, the clone's memories return to the original body. This is an advanced reconnaissance Clone Jutsu (Bunshin no Jutsu)."

As expected of a top student, she could even self-learn about Shadow Clone, which wasn't taught at the Ninja Academy, and explain it so thoroughly.

But to Naruto, these words were like listening to a heavenly book. He didn't understand much, only remembering a few keywords: "Hokage created," "advanced Clone Jutsu (Bunshin no Jutsu)."

"So amazing," Naruto said, his eyes shining as he looked at Lin Mo. "Lin Mo-sensei, I want to learn that too."

"Naruto, you're being too thoughtless!" Sakura Haruno interjected, "This is a B-rank Ninjutsu. Without a teacher, you need a lot of merit points or a borrowing fee to learn it. How can you expect Lin Mo-sensei to teach you for free?"

"Besides, you can't even use Clone Jutsu (Bunshin no Jutsu), how could you possibly learn the more advanced Shadow Clone?"

"Who knows? Maybe I can learn it," Naruto was still full of confidence.

Sakura Haruno got angry hearing this: "If you can learn it, I'll headbutt you!"

Lin Mo watched from the side, speechless, thinking, "Sakura-sis is too harsh; she doesn't need to be so fierce."

He cleared his throat, interrupting their conversation: "Naruto, hand over the apology letter."

Naruto immediately shut up when he heard this, obediently handing over the apology letter.

Lin Mo looked at it and said, "Your handwriting is ugly, and the sentences aren't coherent, but your attitude is sincere enough. I'll let you off this time."
