Chapter 126 - Three Little Secrets

JAY-JAY POV

I slipped into a dress that stretched comfortably over my belly, I caught my reflection in the mirror. Four months in, and the curve of my stomach was undeniable — three little lives growing inside me.

I placed my hand over the swell, whispering softly, "We're going to see you today. All three of you."

From downstairs, Keifer's voice carried up, playful but firm. "Jay! Don't take forever. The babies are waiting."

I laughed, shaking my head as I tied my hair back. "I'm coming, Keif."

When I stepped back down, Keifer was already by the door, keys in hand, his grin wide and boyish.

He looked at me like I was the most beautiful thing he'd ever seen.

"Ready?" he asked.

I nodded, slipping my hand into his. "Ready."

And together, we walked out —

Toward the doctor's office, toward the ultrasound, toward another glimpse of the chaos we'd created.

We got in the car, the morning sun spilling through the windshield.

"Keif, should we do a gender reveal party?" I asked, my voice hesitant but hopeful.

He glanced at me, his grin spreading instantly. "Sure. That would be a great idea."

My heart fluttered. "Really? You'd want that?"

He nodded, squeezing my hand on the console. "Of course. It's not just about finding out. It's about celebrating them — with everyone we love."

I smiled faintly, imagining the chaos. "Three babies. Three reveals. That's triple the excitement."

Keifer chuckled. "Triple the mess, too. You know my brothers and section e will turn it into a competition."

I laughed, picturing Keigan and Keiran arguing over balloons or confetti. "That's true. But it'll be fun. And memorable."

He leaned closer, his voice soft. "Jay, everything with you is memorable. This party will just be another piece of our story."

I blushed, turning to look out the window, my hand still warm in his. "Okay then. A gender reveal party. For our three little chaos."

Keifer's grin widened. "And I'll make sure it's perfect. Just wait."

"We have to tell the doctor not to ruin the surprise for us," I said quickly, clutching Keifer's hand.

He nodded, his grin softening into something more thoughtful. "Yeah… I think our little ones are old enough for us to know their gender." His palm pressed gently against my belly, rubbing slow circles as if he could already feel them stirring.

I smiled faintly, my heart swelling at the sight of him so invested. "So we'll ask the doctor to write it down, seal it, and keep it safe. That way, we can do the reveal together."

Keifer's eyes lit up, boyish excitement flickering across his face. "Exactly. A party, a surprise, and three little secrets waiting to be opened."

I giggled, leaning against his shoulder. "You're more excited than me."

He kissed the top of my head, his voice low and certain. "Of course I am. This is our family, Jay. Every step feels like magic."

I placed my hand over his, resting against my belly. "Then let's make sure the doctor knows — no spoilers."

Keifer chuckled, squeezing my hand. "Deal. No spoilers. Just three little chaos waiting to surprise us."

The clinic smelled faintly of antiseptic, the air cool against my skin as Keifer guided me inside. His hand never left mine, steady and reassuring.

We checked in quickly, then sat together in the waiting area. My heart thudded with anticipation, nerves twisting in my stomach. Keifer leaned close, whispering, "This is it. We'll see them again."

When the nurse called my name, he helped me up, his grin wide and boyish. Inside the examination room, the doctor greeted us warmly, preparing the ultrasound machine.

I lay back, breath caught in my throat, while Keifer stood beside me, fingers brushing over my knuckles. The gel felt cold as it spread across my belly, and then the monitor flickered to life.

Three tiny shapes appeared, moving faintly, their heartbeats echoing in rhythmic pulses. My eyes filled with tears. Keifer's jaw dropped, wonder etched across his face. "They're beautiful," he whispered, voice trembling.

The doctor smiled, recording measurements, then handed Keifer a sealed envelope. "Here's what you asked for. No spoilers today."

Keifer clutched it like treasure, his eyes shining. He leaned down, pressing a kiss to my forehead. "We'll open this together, Jay. With everyone. Our surprise, our celebration."

I nodded, overwhelmed, my hand resting protectively over my belly. In that moment, surrounded by steady beeps and soft smiles, I knew — our future was already unfolding.

We stepped outside, the cool air brushing against my skin.

"Keif, can we go to an ice‑cream shop?" I asked, tugging at his arm.

"Sure, we can go to the mall," he replied easily.

"Why the mall?" I asked, narrowing my eyes.

He leaned down, kissing my nose with a grin. "Because we need to find you an outfit, and Kit's ice‑cream shop is there. Their ice‑cream is good."

I sighed, pretending to pout. "Fine."

Keifer chuckled, sliding his arm around my shoulders as we walked toward the car. "You'll thank me later. Outfit shopping and ice‑cream — that's a win‑win."

I rolled my eyes, but my lips curved into a smile. "You're just trying to spoil me again."

He smirked, opening the car door for me. "Always. That's my job."

As I settled into the seat, my hand instinctively rested on my belly.

The thought of sweet ice‑cream and a new outfit made me grin — but more than that, the way

Keifer made even the simplest plans feel like an adventure warmed my heart.

We reached the mall, the buzz of voices and footsteps surrounding us.

"Keif, ice‑cream first, please," I said, tugging at his arm like a child.

"Fine, my little baby," he teased, his grin soft.

I pouted, crossing my arms. "You know, I think you don't love me anymore."

His smile faded, eyes instantly sad. "Why would you say that?"

I sighed dramatically. "Because you don't say I love you until scientists find the end of the universe anymore."

He blinked, then chuckled, shaking his head. "Okay, wifey… I love you until scientists find the end of the universe."

My cheeks warmed as he leaned down, pressing a kiss against my lips right there in the middle of the mall.

I giggled, hiding my face against his chest. "You're ridiculous."

He smirked, brushing his thumb across my cheek. "Ridiculous for you. Now come on, let's get that ice‑cream before you accuse me of not loving you again."

We walked into Kit's ice‑cream shop, the air instantly filled with the scent of sugar and vanilla
