"That was also Divine Physician Raphael's conclusion. He couldn't determine the actual cause either."
"He was able to suppress the progression, though," Zion replied. "That has kept your condition from becoming much worse."
His gaze settled on Callista's legs.
"The real problem is your physique."
Callista's brows drew together.
"My physique?"
She had considered countless possibilities over the years. A strange poison, a hidden injury, a cultivation deviation, even some unknown disease. A problem with her physique had never crossed her mind.
Zion nodded.
"Have you ever heard of the Physique of Protos?"
Callista slowly shook her head.
"Among all the special physiques I know, I've never heard of it."
"That's normal. The Physique of Protos is extremely rare."
