Chapter 2 - A Different Fighting Instrument

"Gomora!"

Leo roared, and the Battle Device in his hand transformed Gomora into a giant form that soared through the air. The massive form descended, and at that moment, dust flew everywhere.

The ancient monster Gomora had a series of upturned bony protrusions on its back, a sharp, pointed horn on its nose, and its huge body was covered in thorny spikes. A thick tail, also covered in spikes, swung behind it.

Gomora swung its arms, roaring, its giant claws flashing with cold light, looking ready to tear anything to shreds.

Teleport seemed to be frightened by Gomora's imposing posture. Its steps suddenly became stagnant, its head tilted to the side, as if it didn't understand why it had encountered this monster.

On the other hand, Leo finally climbed to his feet. He looked around, dazed. What's this? He was in a battle with a giant monster! And he didn't have any memory of this.

"Gah!"

At the same time, Gomora, who possessed combat awareness, roared and charged towards Teleport with its head lowered.

Teleport seemed to have a certain immunity, and immediately charged towards Gomora.

Seeing this scene, Leo couldn't help but be surprised, "That monster, Teleport, although it's a monster on this planet, its power is not as strong as Gomora's."

However, in the next second, Teleport used its body to collide with Gomora, sending it flying. The giant body crashed to the ground, kicking up a cloud of dust.

"Gah!"

Teleport let out a painful cry, struggling to climb up from the ground, its mouth opening as energy began to gather within.

At this moment, Gomora, who had a strong sense of combat, roared and waved its arms, preparing to use the same trick again.

"Stop, Gomora, Ultra Oscillation Wave!"

Seeing Gomora about to make a move, Leo quickly shouted the order, issuing a combat command.

Gomora stopped, its form tensing. The two sharp horns on its snout began to gather a faint red glow.

Immediately after, Teleport's energy beam shot towards it. In a blink, Gomora had vanished, only to reappear behind it, launching an Ultra Oscillation Wave attack.

The wave slammed into Gomora's horns. As Gomora increased the energy output frequency, the Ultra Oscillation Wave physically pushed against Teleport's energy beam, crushing it and forcing it back towards Teleport.

With a massive explosion, Teleport was reduced to ashes. Gomora, bathed in the setting sun, waved its arms wildly, striking a victory pose.

"Good job, Gomora!"

After a moment of joy, Leo recalled Gomora back into the Battle Device.

He raised his head to look at the setting sun and surveyed his surroundings. Finally, he spotted a relatively intact building amidst the ruins and dragged his weary body towards it.

Soon after, he reached the building and searched for a place to rest. After searching for a while, he successfully found some food.

After tasting the bland, tasteless food, Leo began to review his current situation.

He had somehow crossed over and found himself in a world of monster battles, where he was a being of thunder, a Leo with the blood of Reiblood.

"What is the limit of my current state? And what abilities do I have inherited from Reiblood?"

Leo had been in this strange world for quite some time, and at first, he was only aware of his potential for explosions. But now, he understood that he was a special being, a Leonian.

According to his current abilities, he could unleash thunder, and his body could jump several meters high, leaping across a hundred-meter cliff without falling.

"Phew~ the only thing worth celebrating is that I have some experience from the Ultraman universe, and I know a lot about monsters."

After a detailed review, Leo felt that he had a complete understanding of his current situation.

He should be on Planet Bolis, which was very far away from Earth.

On a certain planet, a beam of lightning descended, selecting a Leonian as its target.

The monster Bruton appeared, wreaking havoc on the planet and summoning hundreds of monsters.

On this desolate planet, monsters ran rampant, destroying everything.

In this dire situation, Leo began to examine his Battle Device. It was a small, rectangular box about two centimeters long, with a screen on its surface.

The screen displayed Gomora's data on one side, while the other side showed a dark, gray area, filled with monsters.

"Huh, what do these brackets on the screen mean?"

Leo looked closely, and on the Battle Device's screen, he saw three sets of brackets: [Attack/Defense], [Attack/Ultra Oscillation Wave], and [?]

These sets of brackets should represent the monster's capacity of the Battle Device.

"What's up? Did you defeat the monster?" Is that what it means? "Do I need to defeat those monsters?"

"Hmm, the Battle Device... I understand."

He touched his head, and Leo looked out the window at the setting sun. He held the Battle Device in his arms and closed his eyes, forcing himself to sleep.

In space, a blue starship was slowly sailing through the starry sky. The identity of this starship was a transport ship from the Earth's space station, the Panlong.

The captain of the starship, a middle-aged man, was leisurely drinking tea in the lounge, enjoying this interstellar journey.

The Panlong was being piloted by the first officer, Hazel, with the ship's crew, including the mechanic responsible for ship repairs, Kumano, and Oki, who was in charge of the ship's system maintenance.

"Phew, Captain, Captain, we've received instructions from the space station!" Hazel in the cockpit contacted the captain in the lounge.

"Damn it," Hazel cursed, her gaze fixed on the control room screen. She pulled on her uniform and strode into the control room. After receiving the orders, she couldn't help but furrow her brow, "They actually want us to go to Planet Bolis?"

The deputy captain was stunned, "Planet Bolis? That's quite a distance from the Earth Federation's territory. They're asking a dedicated transport ship for assistance?"

"It's a standard mission," Hazel replied. "It's a request from the higher-ups. The communications with Planet Bolis have been cut off. Since the Panlong is the closest, we've been chosen to carry out this mission."

Oki, who was also in the control room, adjusted the instruments, "It's indeed the closest. If we use the Panlong's maximum speed, it'll take about seven days."

"So be it. Seven days it is. It's a matter of life and death, and it's a request from the higher-ups. Kumano, chart a course to Planet Bolis. Initiate warp speed and get us there as fast as possible!"

Kumano responded, "Yes, ma'am!"

Immediately, the Panlong set course for Planet Bolis. However, Hazel knew that what awaited them was not a pleasant journey. It was a planet plagued by rampaging monsters.
