My name is Laura, a proud omega of the Avalone pack. Ever since my coming of age ritual, I've become the dream dream omega of countless alphas in my pack and in other packs. Almost every day, just taking a casual stroll through the pack would have me returning home with countless gifts, including but not limited to fruits, bracelets, flowers, food, jewellery, the list goes on. You may think I'm living the dream life-never needing to work to have something on my plate? Truth is I can live just fine without their gifts. In fact I disdain those alphas who only think about marrying an omega and having kids. Always showing off their strength in brute senseless battles, and worst of all they're are not even half as handsome as Lloyd.
Yes, Lloyd, the most handsome alpha I've ever met. Every much imposing than those petty shrimps, yet because he was a mutated alpha he was banished from he pack when he was way too young to fend for himself. I still remember that day. How could I ever forget those fierce golden eyes that seem to want to rip those despicable elders apart.

It all started one afternoon…
"What game are we playing today?" Rick, the youngest, who had just had his silver moon bath and differentiated to beta with brownish fur, asked cheerfully.
"How about we play race! Let's find out who's the fastest among us, I bet it's me!" Prince, the son of the alpha, boomed, his chin held high.
"No, you made us play that last time, and you didn't even want to accept that you lost." Drian refuted his choice while also citing his embarrassing history.
Prince's face flushed red and he retorted in anger, "Shut up! I only lost because I was distracted at the time."
"Yeah? Then what about that one time too you fell from the tree after urging to find out who could climb the highest?" Brian asked mockingly, he bore a striking resemblance to Drian. Both had a streak of silver hair kissing the side of their otherwise brown hair, giving them an unnatural look.
Prince was furious his fangs begun to show, just when he was about to say another word, a gentle voice cut through their bickering.
"How about we play hide and seek? You all find a place to hide and I'll come find you?" Laura suggested a game to end their pointless argue.
The cubs looked at each other and nodded, everyone with one thought in mind, 'I must not be caught first!'
Laura closed her eyes and started counting, listening to them scrambling about searching for a hiding place.
"...34,35,36,37…"
"I spotted here first!"
"No, I decided to hide here first find somewhere else."
"...52,53,54,55…"
"Aah! Fine you can hide here I'll find somewhere else!"
"...59,60! Ready or not here I come~" Laura opened her eyes and run towards where she had heard the two arguing, unsurprisingly she found no one there. She wandered around the area for a bit, just as she concluded none of them would be here she heard rustling sounds not far away.
'Oh~, someone's hiding here!' She moved carefully not to alert the enemy, when she got close enough she pounced on them.
"Got You-!" Bam-
Before she saw who it was clearly, she was thrown back by a force and crushed into a nearby tree. "Ugh," muffled groan escape her lips, her eye widened in surprise and fear. All she saw were golden eyes filled with confusion and panic before she passed out.

Today was a rare clear day and Lloyd took it upon himself to go out and gather some herbs to give his sickly omega father. Just as he found the last herb and was about to pick it he sensed something approaching fast, thinking it was a threat he attacked without a pause. When he looked in the direction whatever it was flew towards, he was surprised to find a cub. After the initial surprise came terror.
"Oh no, what have I done?" He ran towards the figure, after seeing she was not breathing he was terrified thinking he had killed someone and even more terrified about what the adults would do to his father if they found out. He stood frozen, countless scenes of him being beaten or his father taken away from him, played in his mind on a loop.
*cough**cough* He moved his head when he heard the sound. The figure begun to move and breath, he was a little relieved and also on guard.
Laura opened her eyes and saw a pretty boy staring down at her. Although muddled headed she managed to get some words out with effort, "Who are you…where are you from?" She stared into his captivating golden eyes lost in his gaze.
Lloyd opened his mouth to answer when-
"Laura!" From the side several children appeared staring wide eyed at the two figures. Laura was injured lying at the foot of the tree and the boy next to her seemed to be the perpetrator. "You! What did you do to our sister!" Prince roared angrily, Drian and Brian ran towards Laura crouching down and checking on her, Rick stumbled after them.
Prince walked up to Lloyd and shoved him back. Lloyd saw the other kids watching him with vigilance and decided to make a ran for it. He shifted to his wolf form and darted away disappearing in a few strides. The children stared with wide eyes at the black wolf that appeared all of a sudden.
"He's a black wolf?" One of the children asked in a shaky voice, bringing the others back online.
"A black wolf? What's it doing here?"
"'How did it get here?"
The children asked themselves bewildered, there were no black wolves in their pack and the only pack that contained black wolves were a mystery-a legend that even the elders feared to mention. They fled the place and returned back home retelling the occurrences of the day to their parents who in turn confronted the elders, urging them to take action and protect their young ones.
That very evening an emergency gathering was held. Murmurs filled the pack, everyone was discussing the possible dangers this black wolf could pose.
"Quiet!" The alpha appeared, standing on an elevated height, he scanned the pack with cold eyes that shown pale yellow under the moon.
"We are all aware of the appearance of a black wolf in our midst, we have gathered to discuss how to deal with him." The alpha announced the agenda for tonight in a deep voice that instantly stilled the crowd gathered.
"Could it be the child of that one?" Someone asked.
"Huh? Is it that one?"
"The one who left the pack for that alpha?"
"Yes, it must be him."
"I heard he lost his alpha, and came back with four kids?"
"Eh? Four? At least he won't be too lonely, right?"
"I heard he suffered a severe complication during child birth, deteriorating his health?"
"Really? Poor one, lost his alpha and is on the brink of death? What a tragedy."
"'What will happen to the kids then? Does he have long to live?"
"What are you thinking about one of the kid is a black wolf. His alpha must have been from 'that' pack. You know?"
"Eh? How did they even meet?"
"That's not all, I also heard apart from that black one, the second child isn't any normal either."
"Is that true?"
"Then aren't they going to pose a threat to our kids?"
The crowd erupted in chaos with everyone whispering too each other. The place became even noisier the moment the topic of the young ones being endangered was brought up.
Just when everyone began to panic a loud voice was heard, "Why don't we send them away?"
"Yeah, let them leave before they harm our kids?"
"Please, alpha my kid was nearly killed today, by that black wolf kid, what would have happened if the other kids weren't around to bring my girl back?"
"Yeah, what if one day our kids go out to play and never return?"
Once again the crowd erupted in waves, some cursing fate, others wailing for their young ones and some just wanting to get rid of the cancer that could grow and bite them later.
"Enough! You have all spoken. Know we decide what to do." The alpha spoke again looking down at the now still but restless crowd. He saw the worry, fear and helplessness in their expressions.
