Chapter 73 - Chapter 73:Fuck, am I praising the Hulk!

Once Tony gets into work mode, he becomes a paranoid scientific madman.

Time will become a meaningless concept to him.

The underground laboratory became his independent kingdom.

There is no day or night here, only constantly flashing data and never-ending ideas.

He polished his work over and over again.

He perfectly integrated Henry's ideas about nanotechnology with his own engineering theories.

He personally builds every model and designs every energy circuit, striving for perfection.

Pepper came several times, and each time she wanted to drag him out of the lab and let him get a good night's sleep.

But every time, it failed.

"Hey, Pepper." He always said to the helpless woman standing at the door without turning his head.

"Don't you see I'm working on something that can change the world? Sleeping? That's a lowly physiological activity for mortals. But I'm a genius. Geniuses don't need sleep."

Then, he would be dragged back to the bedroom by Pepper with the simple and brutal method of "If you don't go to sleep, I will throw all your donuts into the Pacific Ocean to feed the fish."

Of course, this forced rest usually doesn't last more than a few hours.

When the genius's brain began to work, even the softest bed in the world could not stop him from rushing to the laboratory. Until a few days later in the afternoon.

A black Audi A8 drove smoothly along California Highway 1, with the azure Pacific Ocean and brilliant sunshine outside the car window. Inside, however, the atmosphere was somewhat subtle.

Happy Hogan gripped the steering wheel, his body tense. From time to time, he cautiously glanced through the rearview mirror at the honest-looking man in the back seat.

"Um, Dr. Banner. Happy cleared his throat, trying to find a topic to break the awkward silence.

"Are you thirsty? There is water in the car, and...well, Mr. Stark specially prepared an herbal drink for you that is said to be able to soothe your mood." "Thank you, Mr. Hogan. I'm fine." Bruce Banner smiled politely in a gentle voice.

But his eyes, always filled with melancholy and anxiety, made him look like he was worried about something.

Happy looked at him and felt his scalp tingle.

God knows how nervous he was when he went to pick up the doctor just now.

His job responsibilities have escalated from protecting Tony from a crazed fangirl to ferrying a specialist who threatens to transform into a goblin and rip him in half.

"I have to say, Doctor," Happy couldn't help himself. He lowered his voice, as if he were sharing a shocking secret.

"Even though that's true, I still want to ask, can you really turn into that big guy? The green one?"

A bitter smile appeared on Banner's face.

"Yes, Mr. Hogan."

"Wow." Happy couldn't help but let out a heartfelt exclamation, then immediately realized his mistake and quickly made amends.

"I mean, that's really cool. Of course, I'm not saying that destroying things is cool, I just think it's... well, powerful." He felt that his words were disordered.

As he spoke, he was complaining madly in his mind.

What the hell am I talking about?!

Am I calling a monster who could tear me apart, cool?!

I must be crazy!

"Boss, is he really okay?" he asked cautiously.

"I mean, let you come here. You know, he has a lot of fragile things here."

Banner looked out the window at the villa located on the cliff and smiled helplessly.

"I think Mr. Tony should be safe with Mr. Henry here."

"Gentlemen."

Jarvis' gentle voice rang out in the laboratory.

"Dr. Banner is here."

"Oh? The big guy that might need an unplanned demolition at any moment?" Tony looked up from the complex data model. He glanced at the clock on the wall, and a look crossed his face that I had almost forgotten.

"Let him in. I suppose he's not here to discuss the psychology of anger management t with me?"

Soon, Bruce Banner came to the laboratory somewhat stiffly under the guidance of Happy.

Although he had been here once, he still felt that the facilities were complete.

"Good afternoon, Mr. Stark." Banner looked at the high-tech equipment around him and smiled faintly.

"Certainly."

Tony came out from behind the console, holding a cup of coffee.

He looked Banner up and down, his eyes as if he were examining an interesting experiment, and he didn't forget to offer his unique welcome.

"Welcome back to my dollhouse, Dr. Banner. I must say, you look much more energetic than the last time we met. It seems our food is much better than that tropical island you were on before."

Banner was choked by his words and was speechless. He opened his mouth but didn't know how to refute.

"All right."

Tony shrugged, walked up to Banner, and patted his shoulder.

"Don't be so nervous, doctor. Relax. I didn't invite you here to slice you up for research. Although I have to admit, I am very interested in that big thing inside you."

He said, snapping his fingers.

"Jarvis, show our new friends the results of your recent research."

The next second, a model of a streamlined and muscular nano Armor appeared in the air of the laboratory.

Banner looked at the model and the theoretical concepts on it.

He was a little surprised.

The last time he and Henry worked on it, it was just a preliminary idea. He hadn't expected such rapid progress.

"That's right."

Tony looked at his obsessed look with a satisfied smile on his face.

"Cool, right? And we already have the materials we need."

He pointed to the other side of the lab.

I saw a piece of mysterious metal lying quietly in a constant temperature storage box.

Vibranium.

"I've already taken care of Wakanda," Tony said calmly.

"They sent a batch of samples. However, we encountered a little trouble."

He zoomed in on the holographic model.

"This thing is so stable," he said, a rare look of frustration on his face.

"It absorbs almost all the kinetic energy and power. I can't effectively break it down and reassemble it. It's like a stubborn old man."

"So, Doc." He looked at Banner with a challenging look in his eyes.

"I need your help. I need you to work with me to come up with a solution that will get the old man to behave."

Banner looked at him and began to think internally.

But he took a look at the Armor model on the screen and the vibranium.

He knew that he could no longer refuse.
