Both Oliver and Isaac showed signs of impatience on their faces.
Stella was indeed overstepping. Even Isaac had said he didn't care, yet she insisted on seeking justice for him, making it hard not to think she was just stirring the pot.
As soon as Ella finished speaking, Stella's face changed color.
"I-I just want our family to be harmonious. I mean no harm…"
As she spoke, her eyes filled with tears as she looked at isaac, but he remained completely unmoved.
Oliver's expression turned cold.
"You're in the wrong here."
Tears streamed down Stella's face, and she cried more dramatically than any leading lady in a TV drama. Ella couldn't help but want to give her a thumbs up.
What a delicate little white lotus, looking so pitiful with her tear-streaked face. It was hard not to feel sorry for her.
Sure enough, the next moment, Dalton finally spoke up.
"Alright, Xiaoxue didn't mean it. It's Ella's fault anyway. If there's a next time, I won't let you off easily."
Ella didn't even glance at Dalton, too tired to argue with him.
After dinner, the butler came as usual to report on Dalton's work and the recent developments in the upper circles.
"The Lee family is becoming increasingly close with other families."
As the butler spoke, he cast a pointed glance at Ella.
Mentioning the Lee family made Dalton furious, and he immediately turned to vent his anger on Ella.
"Look at the mess you've made! The Lee family is already starting to distance themselves from us. Do you have any idea how much this affects the entire Grant family?"
"You need to go apologize to the Lee family tomorrow!"
Dalton's commanding tone made Ella fume.
"Why should I apologize? Quinn Lee knows exactly what he's done. Instead of making me apologize, you should hurry up and marry Stella into their family."
Stella looked pitiful and innocent. "Sister, what does this have to do with me?"
Dalton was livid.
"Why do you keep dragging your sister into this? Don't you have any sense of being an older sister?"
Ella crossed her arms defiantly.
"I never admitted she's my sister."
"Anyway, I'm not going to apologize. If you want to kick me out, go ahead. Lenn is on my side."
Dalton's eyes nearly bulged with rage.
"You!"
Hearing master lenn name, Sabrina and Stella didn't dare to breathe a word. They saw the word "troublesome" reflected in each other's eyes.
Ella was likely to take advantage of having Master lenn backing her up and do whatever she wanted.
Dalton had lived a long life, but he had never been threatened to this extent by a younger generation.
