Ruby's POV
The fury coursing through my veins burned hotter than molten lava. Every fiber of my being screamed with pure hatred for this monster standing before me.
My trembling fingers found the small knife hidden in my jacket pocket. The cold metal felt reassuring against my palm as I gripped it tightly.
In one swift motion, I yanked the blade free and plunged it deep into his chest.
"Die, you sick bastard!" I screamed through my tears.
A twisted grin spread across his face, as if my desperate attack was nothing more than a gentle caress.
"Have you forgotten what I told you? Your Alpha cannot be harmed by such pathetic attempts," he said mockingly.
His powerful arms wrapped around my waist, pulling me flush against his solid frame.
"If I'm destined for hell, then you'll be joining me on that journey," he whispered, his voice rough like gravel.
