"Who are you?"

Tarun awoke from his slumber, looking at the two primordial gods sizing him up, his consciousness momentarily hazy.

This was the first time Tarun had seen any living beings other than himself in this world.

Tarun no longer remembered how long it had been since he transmigrated. He only knew that he had always been in a vast chaos.

Even he himself was just an invisible consciousness within the chaos, without a physical body, able to do nothing but drift in endless slumber.

The last time he woke up was when this chaos, named Chaos, had just begun its evolution from disorder to order, giving birth to those few primordial gods.

Chaos transformed with their birth, matter was constructed, and the primordial order and authority they symbolized began to manifest. The entire world was finally no longer a state of chaos, but possessed earth, abyss, stars, and darkness, as well as Eros, symbolizing life.

However, at that time, the primordial gods had just been born, and the world was only beginning to evolve. Everything was too slow, so Tarun fell into slumber again, until now, awakened by the two figures before him.

They were a man and a woman. The woman wore a green dress, and the man wore a blue robe. Their auras were vast and mysterious, seemingly carrying endless power, and their gazes at Tarun were both wary and curious.

They had never seen such a weak god, whose divine power was pitifully faint, seemingly unable to even manifest a physical body. They wondered what divine office he controlled.

Tarun, however, had recognized the woman, simply because he had witnessed her birth firsthand.

One of the primordial gods, the Mother Goddess of Earth—Gaea.

She once used mountains as her bones and oceans as her blood, forging the earth, water, air, and fire elements in chaos into a tangible Earth, with unhatched stellar embryos gestating in her chest.

As for the man beside Gaea, Tarun did not recognize him, only able to determine that he was not a primordial god.

Because Tarun had only witnessed the birth of the major primordial gods and confirmed that the world had begun to evolve before falling back into slumber, he naturally knew nothing about the gods born after the primordial ones.

However, seeing the intimate gestures between the two, Tarun guessed that their relationship was extraordinary.

"We are speaking to you." The man frowned, a hint of displeasure appearing on his young face: "What is your name, and what divine office do you control?"

"Uranus, do not be rude." Gaea gently interrupted the man's aggressiveness. Her gaze looked at the void before her, sensing the unknown presence that had no physical body but possessed consciousness.

Gaea did not belittle Tarun for being too weak, simply because she had sensed his gaze since her birth, knowing that he was an existence born earlier than her.

She was just curious, curious as to why such an ancient existence would be so weak, and also curious about who he really was and what divine authority he controlled, which was why she came to probe him when she and Uranus passed by this place.

Uranus, Gaea's child, and also the first generation God-King Uranus, Gaea's husband?

Tarun immediately understood the man's identity, his emotions churning.

As the first conscious being in this world, Tarun had waited for this day for far too long. He didn't even know how long he had waited.

Perhaps because he was an outsider soul, he was not accepted by this world, unable to even manifest his own body.

Moreover, he had come too early, so early that there was nothing in Chaos, not even sky and earth. There was only him, a lonely spirit, in the entire chaos, so he could do nothing but slumber.

But it was also because he came early enough, coupled with his original memories of the future evolution of the entire world and the events that would happen, which influenced the evolving Chaos, that he also gained a divine office.

That was—

Fate.

What he knew would inevitably happen, unchangeable and unresolvable. Even he himself could not alter it. He merely saw what would happen in advance; everything was predetermined.

And everything he spoke about prophecies of fate would eventually come true, so he was also the god of prophecy, because prophecy is inherently subordinate to fate.

The only thing that puzzled Tarun was that the divine office of fate should not be considered weak, yet his divine power was pitifully weak, not even comparable to a strand of hair of these primordial gods.

However... previously, with the birth of these primordial gods, the fate symbolizing them began to move, and Tarun could clearly feel that his divine power, which had been dormant for an unknown period, also began to change, growing at an extremely slow rate.

Although this growth of divine power was like a firefly compared to the bright moon, or a drop of water compared to the ocean, in the face of those primordial gods who were born symbolizing power and invincibility, at least there was some change, even if it was still pitifully weak.

The only benefit was probably that Tarun himself symbolized fate, and fate always exists, so Tarun would never perish.

Unless this world was completely destroyed, fate would cease to exist with it. Tarun was already intertwined with this world.

Tarun guessed that perhaps only when there were more lives in this world, and thus more fates symbolizing these individuals, would he himself become stronger. In other words, the more prosperous this world, the stronger he would be.

And the reason he was so weak now was because the world was still barren, with only a few deities, and even their fates had only just begun to turn.

To gain stronger divine power, he needed to promote the development of these deities' fates.

Thinking of this, Tarun no longer remained silent. Without a physical body, he transmitted his voice through thought.

Uranus and Gaea only felt a distant and vague voice echo in their minds, indistinguishable in gender, joy, or anger, as if separated by an indescribable mist.

The voice said, "I am the God of Prophecy, capable of glimpsing fate."

Uranus and Gaea exchanged glances, their eyes filled with suspicion and disbelief.

They simply could not imagine how this weak deity before them, who couldn't even manifest a physical body, could glimpse fate with his meager divine power.

At Gaea's signal, the young Uranus neither affirmed nor denied. He suppressed the disdain in his eyes and simply asked, "Then, esteemed Highness, what have you seen?"

"You, Uranus, King of the Sky, will become the God-King of this world." Tarun spoke again, his voice devoid of emotion, merely stating facts calmly: "And you, Gaea, Mother Goddess of Earth, will become the God-Queen of this world."

"You will become the rulers of this world, jointly conceiving divine offspring. In the near future, you will give birth to twelve children at once. They will be the embodiment of laws, and a sign of the world's greater completeness."

At these words, Uranus and Gaea both fell into a long silence. They were clearly shocked by the audacious declaration of this unknown being.

"Esteemed Highness, we thank you for your prophecy. If it truly comes to pass as you say, then we shall be greatly honored. But please understand, because this is truly too incredible, it is difficult for us to believe."

This time, it was Gaea who spoke, her words still conveying a sense of distrust.

In their eyes, Tarun was simply too weak. They couldn't believe that such a weak being could truly see fate, and such a grand, unbelievable fate at that.

Tarun, however, paid no mind to Gaea and Uranus's reactions and attitudes. He simply chuckled softly and whispered, "Then how about we make a bet?"

"If it truly happens as I say, then you will grant me one condition. And vice versa."

Uranus and Gaea exchanged glances, and finally, Uranus nodded, agreeing to the bet.

From beginning to end, Tarun was calm and confident, simply because the moment he spoke, he felt the growth of his divine power, which meant... the fate belonging to the two before him had already begun to turn.
