Chapter 37 - Chapter 37 Two Conditions

Chapter 37 Two Conditions

The ocean current is not like an ordinary river. It surrounds the entire world and is much larger than you can imagine.

Although Oceanus and Thesis had many children and created many water elemental creatures, this number seemed a little scarce in the vast ocean currents.

Zeus shuttled through the water and saw almost no living creatures. After walking around for a long time, he finally saw a sea nymph. He was about to go forward to inquire about the news, but when the other party saw him, a look of vigilance instantly appeared on her beautiful face, and she turned and fled.

Zeus didn't even have time to say anything about this.

He then spent some time and found a few more creatures, but without exception, they ran away when they saw him, leaving no chance for conversation at all.

This made Zeus realize that something must have gone wrong.

The ocean current is so big that it is very difficult to find Metis, the goddess of wisdom, in it. Now there is no way to ask anyone for information, so Zeus can only leave the ocean current helplessly.

Rhea has returned to the sacred mountain. She cannot go out too often, otherwise the king of gods Kronos will notice something unusual.

However, before they parted, Rhea told Zeus that if he had any problems, he could seek help from Gaia, the mother goddess of the earth.

So Zeus came to the temple of Gaia, the goddess of the earth, and sincerely thanked her for her protection over the years.

Gaia has always been paying attention to Zeus's growth. Seeing that he has become so powerful in just a few hundred years, Gaia is very pleased, but she also feels that it is too early to take action now.

Kronos, who has been recognized by the world, is now extremely powerful. Although he is not as powerful as the former king of gods Uranus, he is not far behind.

In this situation, Zeus' current strength is far from enough to fight against the King of Gods.

"Child, perhaps you should wait a little longer." Gaia expressed her opinion: "When you are a thousand years old, you will be even more powerful. Then, we will be more confident."

"Respected and great Mother Earth, please rest assured that I will not act rashly." Zeus said respectfully, "I will not confront Father God head-on right now. I just feel that we need to prepare early."

Gaia was very satisfied with the child's caution. A smile appeared on her face, and she asked gently, "So, what are your thoughts now? What are your plans?"

"I definitely can't fight against the powerful God King by myself, and he has the support of so many great gods. I can't defeat him. I need to find some help."

"Only when those who support me are equal to or even greater than those who support God the Father, weakening his power, will we have a chance."

Gaia nodded and said appreciatively, "You are neither impulsive nor reckless, which is a very good quality. Moreover, many gods are very dissatisfied with the actions of the God King over the years. These are all targets you can win over."

"When the real war begins, they can help us by just sitting back and watching," said Zeus.

"You're right." Gaia agreed with Zeus's idea again, but quickly raised a new question: "But how do you convince those gods? Even remaining neutral would be a betrayal to the God King."

"Once they betray, there will be no way back, and they are so afraid of the God King."

"What they fear is not the God King, but the overwhelming power and the consequences of a failed resistance."

Zeus said this with a confident and bright smile, "Once the God King loses his overwhelming power, or if another power that can rival the God King appears, the gods, who have long been dissatisfied, will no longer obey him."

"As more and more people support us, those who originally remained neutral will gradually turn to us. This is not a difficult problem."

Gaia listened, becoming increasingly satisfied with Zeus. She asked, "So what are you going to do now?"

"I want to find Metis, the goddess of wisdom, and persuade her to join my camp, so that we can fight brute force with the power of wisdom."

Zeus said with a confused expression, "But the gods in the ocean currents immediately moved away when they saw me, and I was unable to find out the whereabouts of Metis."

Gaia has not been involved in the affairs between the gods for many years and doesn't know much about the outside world. When she heard Zeus' words, she didn't know why.

She thought for a moment and came up with a plausible explanation: "Perhaps it's because after the confrontation between Pontus and Oceanus, the ocean currents are no longer peaceful."

"The descendants of these two gods have had many conflicts over the years, which has caused them to subconsciously want to stay away from unfamiliar faces."

Zeus always felt that this matter was not that simple, but he couldn't figure out why for a moment, so he could only accept this explanation.

Just as he was still thinking about how to find Metis, Gaia spoke and provided a most commonly used old suggestion.

"Perhaps you can ask His Highness Taren. He knows everything."

This was the second time Zeus was persuaded to ask Taron, the last time being his mother goddess Rhea.

Zeus could vaguely feel that both Rhea and Gaia seemed to have great trust in the existence of the suspected god of fate, to the point of blind trust.

When they encounter problems, their first reaction is to ask Taron instead of thinking for themselves, and they don't think there is anything wrong with it at all.

Zeus didn't have any thoughts about Taron. He just felt that one should not rely too much on others and should rely more on oneself in everything.

But now that he found that both his Mother Goddess and the Mother Goddess of Earth trusted Tarun so much, he became wary.

However, there was no sign of abnormality on his face, and he was still listening attentively to Gaia's introduction to Taren's deeds.

One by one, it seems that all the major events in the world today are closely related to Taron.

Gaia's original intention was to tell Zeus that Talen was reliable, but after listening to it, Zeus felt that the so-called Talen was simply a dangerous person, which made him even more unwilling to contact him.

At least not now, I'm too weak now.

Zeus thought so and had already made up his mind to try not to get involved with the God of Fate. But the next moment he heard Gaia suddenly seem to remember something and added:

"Oh, my child, when you were born, His Highness Talen asked His Highness Nyx to cover up your tracks. As a reward, I agreed to two of his conditions on your behalf."

"When you visit His Highness Taren in the future, remember to ask him what he needs you to do."

Upon hearing this, Zeus froze in place
