Chapter 49 - Chapter 49: Convincing Dayang

Chapter 49: Convincing Dayang

In the ocean current, Rhea, Zeus and Oceanus soon met.

Oceanus' human form is that of a very strong and rugged man, filled with the aura of tide, looking powerful and majestic.

The beautiful goddess of wisdom, Metis, followed behind him. She had bright eyes and white teeth, but when her eyes met Zeus's, she hurriedly looked away and lowered her head in embarrassment.

"Your Majesty Oceanus, the great Lord of the Oceanic Currents, you are so wise and powerful. Your Majesty Metis, the beautiful goddess of wisdom, your wisdom is admirable. Please forgive us for coming here uninvited."

Zeus took the initiative to greet people. He has always been a god with good eloquence, and when he is polite, it is impossible to find fault with him.

"Oh, handsome son of the God King, you are so polite." Oceanus did not get carried away by Zeus' youth. He smiled heartily and said, "Rhea, my sister, I haven't seen you for so many years. You are still as beautiful as ever."

Rhea also smiled and nodded, and they greeted each other like this, and soon arrived at the temple of Oceanus in the deep ocean.

After the children left, when only the four of them were left in the temple, Oceanus cleared his throat and took the initiative to praise:

"Zeus, son of the King of Gods, you have accomplished something almost impossible, which has made the gods marvel at your bravery. In all these years, you are the first one who dared to stand up against Kronos."

"His Majesty the Divine King is no longer the same as he once was. Over the years, he has oppressed the gods and brought chaos to the world. We have our objections, but we are powerless to resist."

"Because even I have to admit that the God King Kronos is too powerful, so powerful that it makes people despair. Your actions undoubtedly help the gods vent their anger."

"This is all thanks to the help of the ocean and the advice of the beautiful goddess of wisdom," Zeus said quickly. "It is also thanks to the tacit approval of the gods, otherwise I would have no chance."

Zeus did not show any pride or complacency. Instead, his extraordinary humility made Oceanus like him even more. He nodded, the smile on his face faded, and his expression gradually became serious and earnest.

"So, son of the God King, what do you want to do next?"

"Of course, I will defeat Kronos," Zeus replied with equal seriousness. "This world has been in chaos for too long. I will establish a new order, free the suffering gods from their constraints, and restore freedom to this world."

"The gods shouldn't be constantly fighting among themselves. We should work together to develop the world, making the universe a better place for all gods to enjoy."

Zeus spoke with great seriousness, and Oceanus was gradually moved by the blueprint he described, but he soon calmed down and asked seriously:

"Have you figured out how to deal with the God King Kronos?"

"God cannot be killed. Even if we manage to defeat him, how will you deal with him?"

This question instantly cooled the originally heated atmosphere in the temple to freezing point. The gods began to think and no one spoke for a while.

"Imprison the spirit of the God-King within his body, and then throw his body into Tartarus, just like the six giants did before." Zeus quickly came up with an idea, which was the old method invented by Uranus.

The main reason is that the gods cannot kill them, so there is no better way than imprisonment.

Oceanus nodded, approving of this plan. "In this case, without the help of the gods, he will be unable to escape."

The method doesn't have to be old, as long as it works. However, a new problem soon arose, which was how they were going to imprison Kronos' spirit.

You know, Kronos will not wait for them to imprison him. If he finds out that they have this intention, he will just run away without caring about anything. With their current abilities, it is unlikely that they can force him to stay.

After all, he is still the God King, and the power of creation is there.

Zeus looked at Rhea, and as soon as he moved, everyone looked at Rhea.

As the queen of Kronos, Rhea is probably the person who knows Kronos best in the world. They have been together day and night for thousands of years.

Rhea took a deep breath. She knew that now was not the time to think about old feelings, and there was no old feelings between her and Kronos.

"We have to do all this when he offers no resistance at all. After we defeat him, I will freeze his time. But I alone am not enough. We also need Ms. Night's help."

"Only the endless darkness can block Kronos's perception, and only then can we imprison him."

"Her Highness Nyx?" Oceanus nodded thoughtfully. "If we can get her help, our chances of success will be much better."

"But how can we convince her to help us?"

Nyx, the goddess of night, is an ancient primordial god like Gaia. Her power exceeds that of the twelve Titans, but she is too mysterious. She almost always stays in the land of eternal night and has not been involved in worldly affairs for a long time.

"It's not impossible. Her Highness Nyx has helped us before." Rhea took the initiative to speak. Facing everyone's gaze, she explained, "Without Lady Night's cover, I wouldn't have been able to hide the birth of Zeus from Kronos."

Everyone suddenly understood, and Zeus also remembered the two conditions that Gaia had made on his behalf, as if to express his gratitude for this matter.

But he didn't understand why it was Nyx who helped him, but he wanted to thank Tarun.

But now was obviously not the time to think about this, so he focused his mind and continued to listen to Rhea's narration.

In this matter, Oceanus was more active than Zeus. After all, the strength of Zeus's side determined how much help he would provide.

Even though Taron was optimistic about Zeus, Oceanus couldn't go all in. After all, he was the lord of the ocean, and he had to leave a way out for the lives in the ocean.

He certainly won't show up directly unless all the other Titans are gone, but this is almost impossible.

Because that would mean a war among the gods, which would cause great damage to the world and destroy the gods' efforts of thousands of years.

After all, the battle between the God Kings is just a family affair of the God Kings. These Titan Gods can only vaguely express their attitudes, and most of them will not take action personally.

As for this attitude, it depends on the strength of Zeus.

Oceanus finally came to a satisfactory conclusion. After realizing that Nyx would most likely provide assistance, he laughed and said:

"Son of the God King, although I cannot help you directly, my daughter Metis can. It depends on whether you will despise her stupidity."

Zeus smiled bitterly at this: "If Her Majesty Metis, who is known for her unparalleled wisdom, is still foolish, then what am I? A brainless elf?"

Everyone burst into laughter, while Metis lowered her head in embarrassment, her beautiful and flawless face turning red.
