Chapter 9 - Fully Automatic!

Victor had thought that after this trip to Aurum Alley—a date in name, but a 'tuning' session in reality—he would immediately exit Reality Mode.

Unexpectedly, after Baiheng left, Reality Mode was still active.

A flicker of anticipation instantly crossed Victor's eyes.

The thrill of committing an offense right in front of her friend was stimulating, but in such a public place, he could only satisfy himself with some light touching.

This round of 'tuning' had only served to stir up his desires again.

After seeing Baiheng off, Victor wasted no time in dragging Jingliu back to his residence.

To his surprise, Jingliu was even more impatient than he was. The moment the door closed, she made her move.

Don't misunderstand—Jingliu literally made her move.

With a loud bang, Victor was viciously slammed against the wall by Jingliu. The force of her blow was so great that the wall shook violently, and dust rained down from above their heads.

"Don't even think about getting any ideas about her! I'll kill you!"

Jingliu's right forearm pressed against Victor's neck, pinning him as she leaned in close, her face near his, her expression frigid as she issued her warning.

The familiar cool fragrance filled his nostrils, yet at this moment, there was not a trace of intimacy to be felt from Jingliu.

Jingliu's light-red eyes radiated a cold, killing intent.

Victor had no doubt that if he said a single wrong word, Jingliu would kill him without hesitation.

But Victor wasn't afraid in the slightest.

After such a long period of 'tuning,' he had long since become familiar with Jingliu's every weakness, every vulnerability, and he knew exactly how to easily control her.

"Master, I've already told you. I'm only interested in you."

As he spoke, Victor slowly but firmly pushed aside the arm Jingliu had pressed against his throat.

Suddenly, Victor leaned close to Jingliu's ear.

"But if you ever dare to speak to me like that again, I can't guarantee what will happen to that little Foxian girl!"

Victor's threat was overwhelmingly forceful. Upon hearing it, Jingliu's killing intent intensified threefold.

The atmosphere around them was filled with a bone-chilling cold.

Jingliu instinctively wanted to break free, but for some reason, her cold body felt as if it had melted, becoming limp and devoid of strength.

Victor suddenly let go, releasing Jingliu.

Jingliu looked at him in confusion. Victor walked straight over, sat down in a chair, and then...

Jingliu's gaze turned cold, her lust instantly replaced by icy killing intent.

She stared daggers at Victor, her hand subconsciously gripping the hilt of the sword at her waist, as if she would draw it and slice him in two at any moment.

A terrifying killing intent swept over him like a tsunami. It was an aura forged in the blood of the countless Abundance abominations Jingliu had slain. An Abundance abomination with a slightly weaker will wouldn't even dare to move, let alone fight back, in its presence.

Unfortunately for her, Victor wasn't buying it.

Despite Jingliu being completely suffused with murderous intent, looking ready to kill, Victor wasn't the least bit intimidated.

"Hurry up! Don't make me say it a third time!"

After a brief stalemate, Jingliu, her eyes filled with unwillingness, emotionlessly complied with Victor's command.

"Do I need to remind you? Hurry up, do it yourself!"

Feeling humiliated, Jingliu's eyes widened in fury.

"I'll kill you!"

Victor wasn't afraid of her.

"Aren't I giving you the chance right now?"

"Ngh!"

[Reality Mode ended. Simulation continues]

Even though he had exited Reality Mode, Victor felt as if he could still sense that faint, cool fragrance lingering at the tip of his nose, and his palm seemed to retain the warm, soft, jade-like touch.

No wonder people always say: it takes three years to learn to be good, but only three days to learn to be bad.

Reality Mode was becoming an addiction he couldn't stop.

And within the simulation, his various insidious actions seemed to be unleashing the desires hidden in the depths of his heart—the dark desires he would never dare to show in reality.

Whatever. With his current strength, which was barely enough to serve as cannon fodder, pondering these issues was far too premature.

The right course of action was to first find a way to increase his strength and survive the major events to come.

So, Victor cast aside all distracting thoughts and focused his attention back on the simulation.

[You both tacitly maintained this twisted relationship.]

[To the outside world, Jingliu was still the lofty and renowned 'High-Cloud Quintet' member of the Luofu. Only within the confines of your residence was she nothing more than a disobedient slave.]

[Time slowly passed. One year, two years...]

[The more you humiliated and debased her, the stronger her killing intent toward you became.]

[You were not troubled by this. To you, Jingliu was best in this state. Only by maintaining her inner resistance could you feel that the woman you possessed was the Luofu's Sword Champion, 'Transcendent Flash,' and not some she-beast tamed in body and soul.]

[Just when you thought these ordinary days would continue forever, war broke out...]
