Chapter 2 - Knight

Born into the Yaeger knight house in the Warhammer Universe, Zeke considered himself both lucky and quite unlucky.

After all, no noble in Warhammer could truly live a peaceful life.

Especially a noble like the high king of a knight house; how could such a noble be allowed to live a life of idleness and complacency?

His father was the high king, and he was the next King of the knight house.

The planet beneath his feet was their family's planet!

Should his father unfortunately pass away, he would become the King of this planet.

He had to be responsible for the entire planet, so childhood entertainment was nothing short of a luxury for him.

From one to two years old were Zeke's happiest days, because during this period he enjoyed the life of a true noble, and even had his parents caring for him.

These were his happiest days.

What made him even happier was that, perhaps due to the bloodline of a Warhammer noble family (crossed out)

The excellent treatment provided by a Warhammer noble family made him grow up to be incredibly handsome.

His handsomeness cannot be described as merely handsome.

It should be described as beauty.

His beauty even surpassed that of any celebrity he had seen in his previous life on Earth; it was a beauty that was almost to the extreme.

Even though he was only two years old, his beauty was already evident.

This was the point Zeke was most satisfied with; compared to his extremely ordinary appearance in his previous life, his current appearance made him truly happy.

Besides this, what else made him excited and happy were the gifts he received from various Houses and nobles upon his birth.

He was the eldest son of the knight house's high king; he was destined to inherit this family, and no one would fail to send him a gift for his birth.

On the day of his birth, Ecclesiarchy priests led prayers for him.

The Adeptus Mechanicus priests offered him the blessing of the Omnissiah.

His father not only declared Zeke his heir at his birth but also directly allotted him a vast territory.

It was a very large territory, so large that its size even surpassed Zeke's homeland in his previous life.

Newly born, he gained the tithe from such a large territory; apart from the tithe that needed to be paid to the Imperium, all the remaining money was his.

To put it bluntly, he had already acquired wealth equivalent to an entire country he knew in his previous life, just by being born.

In fact, due to technology, it was even more than the wealth of a country in his previous life.

This was just a gift from his father; besides his father, how could others not present him with gifts?

Gifts from the Adeptus Mechanicus, from the Inquisition, and from the Ecclesiarchy piled up in the warehouses.

In addition, there were other knight Barons of the knight house, who also presented their gifts for Zeke's birth.

If one were to speak of the value of these gifts, then it could be said that any single item here, barely considered presentable in the eyes of a knight noble, could allow Zeke to hire a large number of loyal followers willing to die for him in the lower levels of the hive city.

And this was the least impressive... This was Zeke.

From the moment Zeke was born, glory and nobility enveloped him.

Wealth was never an issue.

Others might struggle for several lifetimes, perhaps even 100 lifetimes, to accumulate the wealth represented by even one of his insignificant gifts.

Of course, besides these things, a noble birth invariably brought other things.

Intrigue and court politics.

However, these were of no concern to him, for who was his father? He was the high king.

Under the halo of the high king, no one dared to plot against Zeke.

All he could face was flattery, even if these people knew that flattering a child was useless, they still only flattered him.

The high king might not remember who flattered Zeke, but he would certainly remember anyone who failed to flatter him upon his birth.

However, happy and joyful days are always short-lived.

Later, Zeke fully demonstrated the meaning of 'no zuo no die'.

Life before the age of two was truly wonderful, but unfortunately, he soon turned three.

At three years old, all his happiness began to recede.

As the heir of the knight house, as the heir of the high king, he had to receive education and training from an early age.

He was the heir of the high king; his bloodline and family status did not allow him to be weaker than anyone else in the family.

He had to be the most outstanding person among his peers in the family.

His family, the Yaeger House, were knights under the God-Emperor, his family were Imperial knights, not Adeptus Mechanicus knights.

The glory of the God-Emperor enveloped the Yaeger knight house, therefore, as the family heir, Zeke, you must be able to bear this glory.

As the heir, Zeke had to receive education at the age of three.

Theoretically speaking, receiving education at three years old was actually a bit too inhumane.

Normally, no child would be so miserable, but who made Zeke show too early that he already had cognitive abilities?

Just three years old, Zeke felt a bit scared when he thought of the painful life he might lead in the future.

Therefore, to ensure he could live a better life, on the first day of his third year, he demonstrated speaking in High Gothic.

Besides High Gothic, he also demonstrated two other languages.

These two were Low Gothic, which was also a language that nobles needed to master, although for knights, they looked down upon the so-called commoners.

Such powerful learning ability was a talent bestowed upon him by his transmigration.

He didn't know why he had such a good talent for languages, but as long as he listened, he could understand and speak them.

Zeke's original intention was to use his outstanding performance to gain special attention from his family, thereby allowing his family to be more lenient with him.

At least not to live the daily life of a high lord, which he learned about from long xia (lobster) in Warhammer.

He succeeded.

No, saying it like that seems a bit imprecise; it should be said that he succeeded halfway.

Undoubtedly, mastering High Gothic at the age of three, and also mastering several Low Gothic languages, was enough to show what kind of talent the high king's heir possessed.

Such a powerful performance now proved that he would be a qualified high king, and their Yaeger House would surely prosper for a long time.

When Zeke displayed such a scene, all the elders of the family became excited.

They shouted, " The God-Emperor blessed this child!" and then began to be even stricter with Zeke.

With such a qualified heir, such an excellent heir, wouldn't it be a waste of his top-tier talent bestowed by the God-Emperor if he wasn't properly educated?

Through his own actions, theoretically, he should have received rigorous education at the age of four, five, or even older.

But under his mischief, he successfully acquired a large number of teachers at the tender age of three.

From the moment he opened his eyes until he closed them each day, every step was accompanied by two words: etiquette.

If two more words were to be added, they would be: rules!

As one of the oldest knight houses to have been passed down within the entire Imperium, the Yaeger House, which had been passed down for 20,000 years, had rules as numerous as the stars.
