『Felix Karl Grimm』
It has been a few days since I met Rebecca and I have thrown myself to the grind harder than ever. She told me she'd be busy for a few days dealing with gigs so I took the time to put my nose on the grindstone, rip up the pavement and get to work.
Rebecca has shown me the fruits of my endeavors. So I wanted to impress her the next time I saw her and if fortune struck, I didn't want to have to bring her to a shitty ass megabuilding apartment.
First of all, I did gig after gig, making Capitan a happy man, there were orders to kill me from both 6th Street and Tyger Claws now, but nobody knew my face, because nobody lived to tell the tale. They all gave me good money, very good money, several tens of thousands of Eurodollars and I became way more confident in using Precognition during fights.
But the real kicker made itself known with Giffany. Let me ask you, do you know how easy life is for a skilled netrunner?
Turns out, you can literally just... take over an apartment via hacking. Simply register yourself, forge the data, trick the system and move in without anyone batting an eye because in some apartment buildings, the procedure is completely data based with little human supervision other than messages.
So now, I own a high rise apartment on the good side of Watson with a 100% discount.
"Wow, this is one hell of a place. That's for sure."
I looked around and whistled as I brought my 1(one) box of personal belongings into the luxury apartment that looked like the Glenn apartments from the game but with a better view overlooking the Corpo Plaza perfectly. It could comfortably house at least 6 people with 3 private rooms, an upstairs master bedroom, a living room etc.
The hologram screens in the middle turned into Giffany who greeted me with a bright smile as soon as I stepped in.
"Only the best for you my boyfriend. Because that's the only thing you deserve! I've already taken over the servers of the building to use as my base. It's just such a shame we can't use the bed though..."
Giffany said in a sad tone as she drew circles in the dirt while pouting, making me sweat a little.
How do I even respond to that? To be honest, I felt somewhat bad for Giffany, being stuck as an AI and all. While I was pondering, seating myself on the couches, the widescreen high tech TV in front of me came to life with Giffany on it.
"Well, since we are in a new house and all, I guess I should slip into something more comfortable... I think this will do. What do you think, my boyfriend~?"
What Giffany had changed into from her uniform was something way more revealing and stimulating, almost too much for my virgin mind. Because now she wore nothing but a very revealing gray virgin killer sweater, revealing perfect amounts of side boob and thigh to stimulate the imagination and libido yet revealing nothing more beyond that. A perfect tease.
Virgin killer was the right name because this thing was killing me indeed. Especially as I was already blue balled by Rebecca insinuating that and then disappearing for days.
"So, what do you think, my boyfriend? Way better than that Rebecca girl, right?"
I took a deep breath and honestly spoke my mind. I had nothing to hide from Giffany.
"I'll be honest Giffany, if you had a body right now, nothing in this world would be able to stop me."
She blushed red up to her ears and twirled her hair in a shy manner.
"R-Really? That's good to hear. You know, if you get one of those automatic things, we could..."
She was a bit inexperienced about this stuff, huh? Makes sense, she is from a dating sim and not an eroge after all.
But I shook my head, no matter how tempting the offer was.
"No, I don't want my first time with you used for something like that. You are enough for me as you are, Giffany."
Giffany smiled brilliantly and so brightly that I felt my corneas get burnt to a crisp instantly from the sheer aura.
"Awww~ you are such a charmer! You would have never needed a dating sim, my boyfriend. Anyway, you should probably go rest now and take care of yourself, yesterday was too much even for you!"
I stretched and frowned, my back crackled like a piece of old rotten wood and my entire body was sore. Yesterday I think I outdid myself, just a bit. And today I was suffering for it, even the best commercially available maxdocs could only do so much.
Killing one of the leaders of the 6th Street in their own hideout was a bit much for even for me.

『Jacob Addams, a 6th Street Captain - 1 Day Ago』
This wasn't real.
None of this was real.
None of this could be real.
That was the only explanation Jacob could think of as he watched the carnage through the cameras using his cyberdeck.
One merc, it was one merc. One fucking merc, and one that looked like goddamn toddler with that gorgeous blond hair and those intense purple eyes.
He just walked in, overture in hand and SMG in the other before opening fire. He thought they were just another braindead gonk trying to throw away their life in revenge and would get killed in seconds. Not the first time it happened, and not the last time it was going to happen. That was just what happens when you a gang captain, this sight was not even rare.
But... but...
Jacob was in his 30s, quite old for a gangster, he had seen quite a lot of things, he had even seen Adam Smasher from the distance once. He had seen strong mercenaries. He expected this kid to die horribly and for him to go about the rest of his day banging hookers. He had seen a lot to get surprised much.
But what he was seeing defied all of his expectations. That man- no, that thing. It scared him.
He moved like a motherfucking ghost, not a single shot landed on him, the glasses on his face didn't even slip and fall. He dodged bullets, no, he dodged everyone's aim without even looking and firing back with ease. Now, most skilled mercs with a sandy or a kerenziov could pull that off. But what he learned sent shivers up his spine.
Using his Cyberdeck he found out... this merc was completely flesh. Not a single implant he could ping. He was tearing apart his squad without a hit landed, he used fear tactics, he shot the lights and fire extinguishers and blinded everyone but his vision did not seem impaired. He landed shots without even looking.
The worst part? He did not look exhausted, tired or struggled, he looked annoyed and disgruntled. As if this was a chore like mopping the floor instead of taking on 20 trained men by his lonesome. Eventually, he saw a few shots land, but they were ineffectual, only those with weaker guns managed to hit, he had the situational awareness to decide what to get hit by and what not to when it came down to it.
The only serious injury he took was one of the senior gangsters used his sandevistan, but he failed to land any lethal shots before he managed to dive into cover and blast the senior gangster in the head. You couldn't even take him by surprise.
He shot down the cameras too, so Jacob could only get brief glimpses of this monster as he entered the room, started shooting everyone and eventually hitting the camera. He tried to use quickhacks to explode traps around, but it was like he knew they were there before he even used them. At most, he managed to hit him with some rubble and glass shards from exploding all the lamps in the room.
Eventually, the goons ran out and Jacob braced himself against his desk with his own overture raised towards the door. His hands trembling slightly. Sweat dripped down his brow. His breathing was uneven. He was the only living soul left in the building. The reaper was coming, but he did not know when, it scared him, not knowing when would the gun fire.
"COME OUT! I'M NOT FUCKING SCARED OF YOU! YOU HEAR ME!? I'M NOT SCARED OF YOU, YOU FUCKER!"
One second, two seconds, three seconds, his pupils trembled. Maybe he left? Jacob wanted to think that but did not dare entertain the thought.
And then...
Knock Knock
Jacob's heart dropped, his jaw slackened, he turned his head towards the window. The visage of the young man was behind it, knocking on the glass with his gun raised.
"Hello 'Mr. I'm not scared of you', I'm Grimm."
Bang!
A hole was ripped through Jacob's chest before he could raise his gun, his subdermal armor was the only thing that stopped him from exploding everywhere like little meat chunks, delaying his death for but a few moments. Just long enough to see the young man scratch his head and sigh.
"Man, that sounded way cooler in my head."
Those were the last words Jacob heard before the life drained from his eyes.

So yeah, after that I had to take the next day off to recover and go apartment hunting. But before moving to bed and probably falling asleep for 10 hours straight again, I had something to do.
I looked at the two tickets in my hands as Giffany hovered around me clearly curious about my tickets. I was waiting until moving into this house to roll these tickets. Y'know, just in case. As for how I got them-
Feat Achieved! Exterminate Jacob Addams and his squad of the 6th Street
+1x Silver Skill Gacha ticket
Feat Achieved! Earn 1 Million Eurodollars
+1x Silver Advantage Item Gacha ticket
First one was self apparent, the second one was thanks to Giffany draining a lot of wallets as we went around, including a dollar from each resident from 3 different Megabuildings. Earning that much money in one day gave me a good feat. Having a million dollars was nice, I already used a good chunk of that change asking Capitan to find me as good of a car as he could get me.
Why did I get this building for free when I already have this much money? Because free stuff is better, that's why.
Without further ado. Let's roll.
Rolling Bronze Skill Gacha...
A common skill!
[Novice Mechanics]
Common Skill
You are as skilled as a mechanic apprentice, you know how to fix basic appliances and maybe even a car when provided with the right tools. You will however improve much faster than other people if you choose to train yourself.
I winced at the slight throbbing feeling in my skull at the feeling of the skill making itself home in my brain. This was not bad, it was pretty decent actually. It would allow me to maintain my weapons while off world which I definitely appreciated.
And then I gripped the silver ticket. Hopefully this would give something just as good.
Rolling Silver Item Gacha with advantage...
[Rust Bucket]
Rare Item
Ben 10 - A fairly large cozy RV owned by Maxwell Tennyson that has been upgraded numerous times with Plumber Technology. In addition to being an effective mobile home, it can fly and is equipped with numerous offence and defence systems.
or
[Deadshot Daiquiri]
Uncommon Item
Call of Duty - "I'm not even gonna try and spell that." Upon drinking whatever this is called, you temporarily receive increased proficiency and accuracy with all ranged weapons and projectile-based abilities for 1 hour. Effects apply after finishing an entire can and do not stack by drinking more than 1 can. Warning: Drinking more than 3 different buff drinks at once will cause intense haemorrhaging, strokes, and heart attacks. Restock Timer: 24 Hours
Hmm, although the rust bucket was definitely tempting, Deadshot Daiquiri called to me like a siren. It would make me way deadlier, so deadlier it was not even funny, my biggest hurdle at the moment with fights was my raw skill. With my Dexterous trait this would essentially be Aimbot wouldn't it?
I redeemed the ticket and the item dropped into my hands, it looked like a soda bottle with the logo of a stickfigure inside of a bullseye with the words Deadshot Daiquiri written around it.
Giffany looked at the bottle that had appeared in my hands with curiosity.
"Ooh, you got an item. What does it do, my Boyfriend?"
I shook the bottle around a little, seeing the liquid inside splash around a little.
"It's called Deadshot Daiquiri. It's a drink that improves my aim and proficiency with ranged weapons for an hour when I drink it. What is a Daiquiri anyway?"
Giffany stood still for a split second before answering.
"Usually a cocktail made primarily with rum, lime juice, and sugar or simple syrup, but I doubt this shares the exact ingredients. So, alcohol that makes you better at aiming? The gacha truly works in mysterious ways."
Thanking Giffany for the facts and truths she gave me, I got up and stashed my drink in my fridge before heading towards my bed to take a rest. But that was before my agent dinged with a notification.
I opened it to see...
'U up to drink?'
From Rebecca.
"Felix. Didn't you say you would rest?"
Giffany said in a stern tone while I turned my head towards the ceiling.
"You know Giffany, sometimes in life, you have to make sacrifices."
I was getting that ass, injury or not.
A/N: Felix has come so far, from a guy barely taking down a few Tyger claws to taking down an entire 6th Street hideout with barely a sweat all the while being full flesh no chrome. And now he finally has an apartment that is not an absolute disgrace like a megabuilding. He is really moving up in the world. What did you guys think about how he fights from the perspective of someone else?
The Gacha's sentience continues to baffle me, an AI, mechanics, and a drink that makes you a better gunslinger all in a row? Felix is just about the deadliest gunslinger in Night City now, you need a full body to even compete at this point, but he is still not Invincible since he will get outpaced by things like Sandevistan and Kerenziov. Anyways, it's time to meet Rebecca again for a nice surprise.
