Chapter 19 - Chapter 19 – Clash of Crowns

The battlefield had fallen into silence — not from peace, but from awe.

Two shadows stood above the skies, their presence alone crushing the wind and bending space itself.

Emperor Alaric Voltaire and Emperor Rayling Infris.

Both were legends who had shaped continents, now facing each other over a single object — the Terra Beast King's Egg.

It pulsed below them like a heartbeat of the world, ancient and alive.

To mortals, it was a myth.

To kings, it was a key to ascend beyond mortality.

---

"Rayling," Alaric spoke, his tone calm but edged like a drawn blade. "You should have stayed within your burning walls. The egg belongs to Voltaire."

Rayling's lips curved in a cold smile. His voice echoed through the air like cracking ice.

"You always did believe power gives you ownership, Alaric. But this world isn't yours to claim. The egg belongs to whoever survives."

Without another word, their auras exploded.

---

The sky shattered.

Lightning burst upward as Alaric's Golden Thunder Domain expanded, turning clouds into molten gold.

Opposing him, Rayling's Eternal blazing Domain erupted, burning even the light that touched it.

The collision of both domains twisted the air — fire and lightning tearing through reality itself.

On the ground, armies trembled. Even the Grand Generals who once thought themselves mighty felt like ants beneath mountains.

"Move back!" Lythor roared to his soldiers, his armor cracking under the pressure. "When two Domain Paragons fight… even the world hold it's breath!"

---

The two Emperors vanished.

Then appeared again — fists colliding, swords ringing, elements screaming.

Fire met lightning.

Every clash turned the earth into chaos — half a world of azure flame, half a world of golden lightning.

Rayling's spear of flaming stars pierced through the air, cutting space into shards.

Alaric responded with a sword sparking so bright it left afterimages even in darkness.

"You've grown stronger," Rayling admitted between clashes. "But still bound by your empire's pride."

"And you," Alaric retorted, "still hiding your fear behind your arrogance."

Their weapons locked. The air rippled. Lightning crawled over Rayling's burning armor, while fire crept over Alaric's sword.

The world began to tear apart around them — cities collapsing from the residual shockwaves.

That was when Alaric raised his hand.

A small, golden cube floated above his palm — its surface engraved with runes older than the empires themselves.

"Rayling," Alaric said quietly. "Let's not destroy our world for this."

The cube pulsed once.

The world around them blurred.

---

In an instant, everything changed.

The two of them were standing in a dimensional mirror of their world — an empty plane of land, sky, and silence.

No armies, no cities — only endless space.

The cube dissolved, leaving a faint golden echo behind.

Rayling smirked. "Still playing by the Academy's rules, I see."

Alaric's eyes glowed faintly crimson. "Even the Transcendent Academy can't cage fate."

Their domains erupted once more — louder, brighter, hungrier.

Their weapons clashed again, now without restraint.

Each strike now could erase a kingdom.

Each breath bent the laws of nature.

---

In the distance — through the veil of broken space — two shadows began to form.

They carried presence.

Power.

And the kind of calm that only those who ruled elements themselves possessed.

Ivan Frost of the Frost Empire.

Ether Gaia of the Gaia Empire.

As they descended toward the fractured realm, the pressure of their existence rippled through dimensions.

The war for the Terra Beast King's Egg…

had only just begun.
