Chapter 16 - Chapter 16: Butler Ah Fu rebels and embraces the boss

Honestly, Natasha and Catwoman wished the BOSS would take more advantage.

The more the BOSS took advantage, the more at ease they felt, and the less guilt they carried.

Previously, when confronting unscrupulous merchants and terrorist organizations, they stood on the side of justice and could act with a clear conscience.

Now, the tables have turned, and justice is on the side of the target.

After Catwoman exposed herself, she felt a little better, but the pressure remained.

She wasn't sure if the information she leaked would affect the BOSS or MIB.

Letting the BOSS take more advantage was a way to reduce her psychological pressure.

As for Natasha... eating the breakfast the BOSS made with his own hands, her heart trembled with every bite.

It was the best breakfast she had ever tasted, and also the most difficult to eat.

She was truly distraught!

Why couldn't the BOSS be violent, evil, or a bit of a pervert?

If you're so gentle, I'll feel guilty for the rest of my life!

Fortunately, the BOSS wasn't so perfect; he still had one flaw... a pervert.

At least it allowed her to forcefully give herself some psychological comfort.

And so... Lin Luo's hand never came down.

It seemed like he wouldn't stop until he reached his destination.

And that was indeed the case.

But for some reason, a journey that should have taken an instant stretched out for more than ten minutes.

The car stopped near Wayne Manor.

Natasha and Catwoman got out, one on each side. Lin Luo followed, looking at his hand with a faint smile on his lips.

Seeing how easily the BOSS was appeased, Natasha couldn't help but tease, "Why don't we just sit in the back from now on and let the car drive itself?"

"If you two are willing, I have no objections."

Lin Luo pulled out his portal gun, shot a portal in front of him, waved, and walked through.

"Alright, if I can stay by your side, I have no objections either!" Catwoman happily followed.

Natasha watched the two, rolled her eyes, and slowly walked behind.

Looks like she's almost giving herself away... Through the portal, they arrived at Batman's lair, the Batcave.

INTRUSION ALERT! Detecting...

As expected of the most suspicious and cautious man in the DC Universe, his internal defenses immediately detected the intruders.

Unfortunately, the technology was only so-so.

Lin Luo's eyes emitted a bright light; the warning disappeared, and the Batcave's system was completely taken over by him.

"Alright, just wait."

After doing all that, Lin Luo found a random spot to sit. Catwoman sat beside him, while Natasha stood with her arms crossed, watching the two like a spectator.

Catwoman was quite excited now.

This posture clearly meant he was going to deal with Batman, who had bullied her.

It felt good to have someone to rely on!

Buzz-clank—!

A moment later, the Batcave's door opened, and Bruce Wayne and the old butler Alfred entered, weapons in hand, hugging the wall one after the other.

Click—!

The lights of the Batcave came on, illuminating the previously dim cave.

Bruce Wayne and Alfred instinctively shielded their eyes.

After a few seconds, they recovered and looked at the three figures on the central control platform.

Bruce Wayne immediately saw Catwoman and instantly understood the intention of these 'intruders'.

He smiled.

He had been worried about how to get more information about MIB, and now... they had delivered themselves to his doorstep.

He would see just how 'righteous' this 'justice organization' that protected humanity truly was!

On the other side, Alfred also seemed to have seen a familiar person and froze in place.

"Indeed, a thief is a thief. A double-crossing spy who plays both sides; no amount of money can change your inherent wickedness."

Bruce Wayne was the first to mock.

He put away his pistol and walked over calmly.

Catwoman's stubborn temper couldn't tolerate such an insult. She was about to stand up and retort, but before she could, Lin Luo caught her small hand.

Catwoman looked at her BOSS, and her emotions slowly stabilized.

"You two are members of that so-called MIB, aren't you?" Bruce Wayne finished scolding Catwoman, then focused his attention on Lin Luo.

"Hehe... casually invading someone else's home, that's not the behavior of a righteous organization."

Facing the mockery, Lin Luo completely ignored it and instead waved to the old man behind Bruce Wayne.

"So many years, Alfred, you look well."

Hearing that familiar voice, Alfred finally confirmed the other's identity, his excited reply trembling.

"Oh my God, it's you! Mr. Lin... it really is you!"

Alfred directly bypassed Bruce Wayne and ran towards Lin Luo.

His speed was not at all like that of an old man with white hair.

Lin Luo smiled and stood up. The two, who appeared to have a vast age difference, embraced like old friends in their twilight years.

"???"

Bruce Wayne, Catwoman, and Natasha all collectively made a confused expression.

"You are still as young as ever." Alfred held Lin Luo's arm, his eyes filled with tears, and a look of hope that surpassed the past.

"If you wish, you can be too." Lin Luo patted Alfred's hand and said, "Alright, let's talk about serious matters first. We'll have plenty of time to chat later."

"Mhm." Alfred nodded and stepped aside.

Lin Luo sat down and asked Bruce Wayne with a smile, "I hear you are the Shadow of darkness. What do you think of MIB?"

Bruce Wayne did not change his attitude just because Lin Luo was connected to Alfred.

He replied as he walked, "Arrogant, self-righteous, naive."

As he spoke, he prepared to pull out a chair and sit down.

Alfred pressed his hand down and said, "Master Wayne, when Mr. Lin speaks, you must stand and listen."

"What?" Bruce Wayne froze, looking at Alfred in disbelief, then returned to normal the next second.

This was the old butler who had raised him since childhood, closer than family. How could he be on the opposing side?

Could their relationship be more important than all the affection they had accumulated?

Bruce Wayne re-examined Alfred internally.

Suffering from severe anxiety, he even considered whether to categorize Alfred as an enemy.

Bruce Wayne threw up his hands, his gaze towards Lin Luo filled with anger.

"Why such an evaluation?" Lin Luo asked again.

Bruce Wayne replied, "Arrogant... because you feign mystery. Self-righteous... because you casually trust aliens. Naive... because you actually think aliens and Earthlings can coexist peacefully."

"Oh, and one more thing, incompetent."

"If you were truly that strong, why have alien incidents been continuously breaking out since yesterday?"

"Pfft..."

Before Lin Luo could finish, Natasha couldn't help but burst out laughing and said, "Master Batman, do you know how many human casualties there were from all those alien incidents yesterday?"

"It's 0."

"So, you wouldn't be so naive as to think the aliens were kind enough not to kill a single human, would you? Use your clever brain and think carefully."
