Chapter 5 - Chapter 5: Rola-The True Rich Woman

The group entered Mondstadt together.

The city felt significantly quieter than the previous day, with visibly fewer pedestrians on the streets.

Amber was chatting with Lumine about the current state of affairs in Mondstadt, her words brimming with respect for Acting Grand Master Jean.

"I promised you a welcome gift earlier. Come on, let's go somewhere with a view!"

The moment Paimon heard the word "gift," her eyes lit up. "D-does Paimon get one too?"

"Well... Paimon probably wouldn't have much use for it," Amber replied.

Before the little sprite could show her disappointment, Amber quickly added with a smile, "But I can treat you both to Mondstadt's famous Sticky Honey Roast!"

"Wow! That sounds amazing!"

Hearing about food instantly ignited Paimon's gluttonous nature. She flew around Lumine excitedly.

Rola seized the opportunity to interject, "Lumine, once Amber's business is done, I have a gift for you too! And of course, Paimon gets one as well!"

Paimon immediately fluttered to Rola's shoulder, rubbing her tiny hands together eagerly. "Rola, you're the best! Can you tell Paimon what it is?"

Rola, who could never resist Paimon's adorable charm, couldn't help but give the little one a gentle hug when she got so close.

Paimon froze for a moment, a little shy, but she didn't pull away.

Rola quickly released her grip, raised her index finger to her lips, and made a shushing gesture:

"It wouldn't be a surprise if I told you beforehand! But I promise, you'll all love it!"

"Thank you, Rola," Lumine said, genuinely touched.

She hadn't expected the people of Mondstadt to be so friendly—Rola, Noelle, and Amber were all so kind!

The ever-thoughtful Noelle, seeing Rola and Amber had prepared gifts, also wanted to give something, but she worried she didn't have anything worthy. She quietly fretted to herself.

Rola, ever perceptive, noticed Noelle's expression and immediately guessed her concern. She gently tapped her forehead—this is exactly what Noelle would think.

She swiftly stepped forward, naturally diverting Noelle's attention.

Meanwhile, Amber had led Lumine to a high vantage point and unfurled her Wind Glider. Paimon, Rola, and Noelle watched from below.

"So it's a gliding device powered by wind! No wonder Amber said Paimon doesn't need it—Paimon can already fly!"

Paimon puffed out her chest proudly.

"Little Paimon is the best!"

"Hehe~"

Despite the praise, Paimon suddenly seemed a bit embarrassed.

Rola chimed in with a smile, "Once Lumine learns to use the Wind Glider, we'll celebrate with a feast at Good Hunter!"

"Yay! Food!"

Noelle stood quietly to the side, Rola gently placed a hand on her shoulder and nodded.

Noelle returned a warm smile.

Ahead, Lumine had already begun test-flying the Wind Glider.

She wobbled at first, but quickly grasped the fundamentals. Before long, she was flying with remarkable stability, showing no signs of being a novice.

Truly, Lumine is amazing!

After completing her flight, Lumine descended gracefully, and the group hurried down from the high platform.

Just as her feet touched the ground, the sky over Mondstadt abruptly darkened, and a fierce wind erupted.

A sudden tornado swept Lumine skyward, carrying her straight into the clouds.

"Traveler!"

Paimon, frantic with worry, instinctively chased after her, only to be caught in the swirling vortex as well.

Amber and the others below were consumed with anxiety, but Rola remained remarkably composed—after all, this was Lumine's moment to shine, and they shouldn't interfere.

Besides, with the Anemo Archon watching over her from the shadows, Lumine was bound to be safe.

High in the sky, Lumine swiftly deployed her Wind Glider and suddenly felt a gentle updraft supporting her, stabilizing her descent.

After narrowly avoiding a dragon's attack, even Paimon was bewildered:

"Huh? Can Wind Gliders... stay aloft this long?"

"I've commanded the ancient winds to assist you, preventing your fall..."

Thanks to the positive first impressions left by Rola and her companions, Chen Xiyao and the viewers' affection for Mondstadt continued to soar.

"Amber gave us the Wind Glider. What do you think Rola will give us?"

[Probably an in-game support item, like the Wind Glider.]

[I just came from the other stream. They're progressing super fast! A little spoiler: Rola is loaded!]

[Wow! A sugar mommy! Wait, a sugar child! No, a sugar maiden!]

[Suddenly I'm really excited for Rola's gift...]

"Ah! I'm being swept into the sky!"

Carried aloft by a tornado and narrowly avoiding a collision with the dragon, Chen Xiyao immediately straightened up, her heart pounding.

Even such high-quality graphics have their downsides! I never used to get motion sickness, but now I feel a bit nauseous!

"I have to fight a dragon?! Is this for real?!"

"Holy crap, was that the Anemo Archon speaking just now?! It has to be the Anemo Archon!"

"I'm so cool!"

Lumine successfully repelled Stormterror, landing smoothly with her Wind Glider.

Rola, Amber, and Noelle immediately rushed over.

Amber: "Are you alright?"

Rola: "Are you hurt?"

Noelle carefully checked them both for injuries and let out a relieved sigh when she confirmed they were unharmed.

Crisp applause rang out from nearby.

Kaeya emerged calmly from the shadows. "To possess the strength to clash with a dragon... Are you our guest... or a new storm?"

"Kaeya!" Rola called out.

Kaeya smiled and waved at her. "Rola's here too, huh?"

Amber urgently reported, "Stormterror has started attacking the city! Captain Kaeya, we..."

"Hold your horses, Amber. We still have a friend here we haven't introduced yet."

Amber realized her oversight and quickly introduced everyone, explaining the earlier events.

Kaeya welcomed Lumine to Mondstadt, apologized for her troubles, and invited her to the Knight Order for a more detailed discussion.

"Big Brother Kaeya, can I come too?" Rola asked, eager to make her presence felt. Leaving now would mean missing out on the unfolding drama. She needed to collect emotional points from players and characters to activate the System's other functions, which would allow her to monitor the player community's reactions.

"Of course you can."

Kaeya, knowing Diluc might be worried, couldn't resist indulging his mischievous side—keeping Rola out a little longer would be perfect.

Noelle had long wanted to help the citizens. Upon learning that Rola was heading to the Knight Order, she bid her farewell and hurried off.

The group arrived at the Knight Order Headquarters and found Jean and Lisa waiting.

Jean seemed slightly surprised to see Rola and subtly glanced at Kaeya, who immediately averted his gaze.

"Big Sis Lisa, Acting Grand Master Jean, I'm here to help too!" Rola exclaimed.

"Oh, little Rola! Still as lively as ever," Lisa said, her voice carrying a uniquely languid charm. "But these matters are best left to us adults to handle."

"Lisa, I've told you countless times, I'm not a child anymore!" Rola protested.

I'm only a year younger than Amber!

Even Klee is the renowned 'Spark Knight'!

Rola's huffy demeanor, far from intimidating, only made her look even more adorable.

Kaeya sighed in exasperation, massaged his forehead, and stepped forward to explain the situation to Jean and Lisa.

The group began discussing countermeasures.

Jean assigned tasks to each member. Since Rola was present, she was naturally included in the team and paired with Kaeya for their mission.

Rola accompanied Kaeya to the abandoned ruins to carry out their mission. Even after their successful return, they hadn't encountered the Traveler. It seemed her plan to "steal the spotlight" had failed.

Reflecting on the day's major events, Rola decided to first return home and assure her brother of her safety.

At this hour, if nothing urgent was keeping him, her brother would usually be at the Angel's Share Tavern. Bidding Kaeya farewell, Rola headed toward the tavern.
