Chapter 2 - THE ORIGIN OF HUMANITY

Chapter-01

(The Origin of Humanity)

From weakness, we were born.

From sin, we were broken.

But in the depths of despair,

we reached for the light that the earth itself had forgotten.

Through symbols and signs — the Cyphers —

we spoke to the unseen,

and the unseen answered.

Thus began the Omega Link,

a bond between the soul and the fabric of creation itself.

We were not made to rule the world…

We were made to survive it.

Humans are weak—fragile beings that falter easily. Their minds are feeble, filled with desires and illusions that hold no weight in the grand scheme of existence. Their thoughts are consumed by greed, lust, pride, and gluttony—sins that gnaw at the very essence of their souls.

The demons know this.

They exploit it.

They weave chaos through humanity's weakness, striking civilization with calculated precision. And when the world trembles before them, most humans crumble.

No ordinary weapon can harm a demon.

There was an age when these creatures ravaged the world—entire settlements erased, thousands slain. But from the ashes of despair, a few humans rose. They awakened to powers beyond imagination—forces so ancient that even the earth itself had long forgotten them. Powers capable of defying the demons.

This… was the true beginning of humankind.

Humans learned to harness signs and symbols called Cyphers—manifestations of their spiritual connection to nature and to the flow of energy that exists on a higher dimensional plane. Each Cypher could summon a different weapon or attack depending on the wielder's mastery.

Some humans discovered that by interlocking several Cyphers in a precise and harmonious pattern, they could create something far greater—Cogs. These combined formations produced devastating results.

To outsiders, it might have seemed like magic.

But it was not magic.

It was a system known as The Omega Link.

Those born with special markings on their bodies could use the Omega Link to channel Cyphers and Cogs, drawing upon the higher dimensional flow to battle the demons and monsters. In rare cases, even those without markings could awaken them through extreme will or circumstance.

But humans are greedy creatures. Many who lacked natural markings turned to forbidden methods—rituals whispered of in the underworld—to force a mark onto their bodies. The cost was ruinous. Most lost their minds, their bodies twisted into monstrous forms—abominations no longer human.

Yet, for those born with true markings, mastery of the Omega Link could lead to something greater—an awakening. A state where the user's bond with the Omega Link deepens beyond mortal limits, heightening power, perception, and consciousness to godlike levels.

Still, humanity carries its sins.

Even as they unite against the demonic forces, some among them choose betrayal—those who worship demons, conspiring with the very monsters they should oppose.

Demons may be bound by one single, unified purpose.

Humans are not.

They are divided, chaotic, and conflicted.

But when the world stands on the brink—when survival itself is challenged—

humanity always finds a way to rise again.
