I start coming to, dizzy and out of it, when I hear a voice telling me to wake up.
"Aye… wake up, fuck i hope he's not dead"
I slowly open my eyes, recognizing the voice and then his face slowly comes to focus.
"Wait…. I know you, you're the guy that broke into my house"
"Yeah… unfortunately"
"What the fuck are you doing here and where are we?"
"I would say hell but I think hell is probably better than this place, welcome to the cage"
"The cage… what the fuck is the cage"
"It's Reyes' own prison where he sends people that go against him. Thats why we're here"
"Wait… so that day you tried to attack him.."
"I was sent by my boss to kill him… but then you fucked it all up"
"How was I supposed to know?!?"
"I tried to fucking tell you at your house but you tried to fucking kill me"
"Well you broke into my fucking house what did you expect"
"Point is… he found out and he sent me here along with everyone else in my organization"
"Fuck…. I can't believe he really played me. Three years and I thought he was finally accepting me, but he was really getting ready to fuck me over. I'm a fucking idiot"
"No.. you didn't know, that's not your fault. Names Dimitri"
"Jay.. sorry for everything that happened that day"
"Ahhh don't worry about it… the only thing that hurt a little was when you called me ugly, kind of hurt my feelings"
"Well no offense you are pretty beat"
"Aye I'm the best looking person in my organization"
"Respectfully… your organization must have some ugly mother fuckers if you're the best looking one"
He looks at me and gives a dirty look
"Anyways…. I need to get the fuck outta here"
Dimitri laughs
"Good luck… nobody can escape this prison, the last person who tried got beat to death almost immediately"
"Beat to death? So these guards don't have guns or anything"
"Nope"
"Then why doesn't everyone just start a riot and take them out"
"Too much politics in here"
"What do you mean"
"These cell blocks are separated by race and organizations… they would never work together"
"Aren't you a head of one of the organizations?"
"Yeah why?"
"Call a meeting between all the top guys, I'm going to try and convince them to break out of this place"
"I admire your bravery but they'll tear you apart"
"Well then let's see what happens"
A day later Dimitri gets all the heads of the cell blocks to meet me
"Alright I know yall don't know me but I just need you to listen. Reyes has fucked us all over in some way or another, if we can just put the differences aside just a little bit we can break out of here and then head to his mansion and take him out once and for all"
One of the leaders stands up
"I don't know how you think you can come in here and tell us what to do, it's your first day here and you think you run shit"
"Reyes took my fucking son, he ruined my life, he turned the love of my life against me and is now going to traffick her and make her a sex slave, even though she did me wrong I can't let that happen to my sons mother."
A Mexican mafia looking guy stands up
"Alright… you want our help then you got to earn it"
"What do I need to do"
"There's a guy here that nobody has been able to touch… he's also a trafficker but was a rival to Reyes, he took a lot of our people. Take him out"
All the leaders nod their heads in agreement
"Fine… where is he?"
"He should be heading to his shower time soon.. that would be the best time to do it… either you kill him or we kill you"
A few hours later I sneak into the showers avoiding the guards. I see the guy they were talking about, he's all alone and now's my chance. I sneak up behind him and take out a blade from my pocket. When I get close enough I lift up his head and slice his throat open. He turns and looks at me, barely hanging onto life as he falls to the floor. I need to show proof so I cut off some skin with a tattoo on it. I clean off the blade and throw it next to him.
The next day another meeting is set up.
The Mexican mafia leader stands up
"So did you do it…"
I hold up the tattooed skin that proves what I've done and throw it down
"So… what's the plan?"
All the leaders look at me and we all formulate a plan to escape. A riot will ensue, we outnumber the guards easily, once the guards are taken out we steal some of the transportation buses and head for the community and end Reyes' once and for all.
We all head back to our cells and get ready for the next day.
