Chapter 40 - Meeting the other kings

After the tournament ended in a draw, Saruto and Rain left the arena with their parents, heading towards the academy's private hall where all the kings were gathered with their sons.

Upon entering the hall, an atmosphere of surprise and respect filled the air. The students, alike, hadn't anticipated the true strength Saruto and Rain possessed. They proceeded to the staircase leading to the kings' room and entered.

Everyone took their seats, and the kings immediately addressed their sons:

"Saruto, why did you hide your identity all this time?" one of the kings asked firmly, yet with a smile.

Saruto smiled slightly and said,

"I wanted to test myself without any help or interference from my family, to see how strong I truly am... and to see if I deserved to be a true heir to the Luin family."

This was followed by lengthy conversations between the kings and Saruto, filled with questions, advice, and smiles from the kings, while the other heirs shared their own experiences and challenges from the tournaments.

As time passed, an atmosphere of celebration and joy filled the hall, with each king proudly praising his son before everyone, extolling his strength, intelligence, and courage, and recounting how he had faced challenges with patience and determination.

The sons exchanged smiles and congratulations, and it became clear that the bonds between the royal families were strengthening, and the mutual respect between the heirs had grown after these difficult experiences and fierce competitions.

In a corner of the hall, Saruto sat smiling, savoring the feeling of success, but with a clear understanding that the road ahead was still long, and future challenges awaited him both inside and outside the academy, though he wasn't worried about them.
