Ruvan leaned back against the cold stone wall and whispered,
"Maybe I am a demon... Or a god"
Ryn folded his arms, studying him carefully.
"You know," he said, "if you really wanted to escape, you probably could've done it by now. But you didn't. That means there's something you want to tell me."
Ruvan's eyes shimmered—like someone holding back a truth too heavy for years.
"Yes," he replied softly. "I want to be free."
"Then start from the beginning," Ryn said.
Slowly, the playful glimmer in Ruvan's eyes faded. His smile disappeared, replaced by a haunted stillness.
— It all began four months earlier —
Ruvan and his best friend Sam were chilling in their room, watching TV like any normal day. Suddenly a breaking news alert popped up. The reporter said that on Hiroshi Mountain, two men were found dead by local villagers. Their bodies were completely intact—no bruises, no cuts, not even signs of choking. Nobody knew how they died.
Sam looked at Ruvan with excitement in his eyes and said,
"Bro, let's go on an adventure. I studied paranormal stuff for years. I'm basically a pro. Come on, let's check it out."
Ruvan immediately disagreed, but after some convincing, he finally gave in. They didn't know it yet, but it would become the biggest mistake of their lives.
They spent an entire week researching the mountain—its history, rumors, supernatural events, everything. Then they packed their bags and left. The place was almost 500 km away, so after a full day of travelling, they finally reached the village near the mountain. They brought a camera, some supernatural tools, holy items, and all the necessary gear.
The village was beautiful. On the north side stood the huge mountain—tall like a seven-story building. They stayed in the village for the day, recorded videos, and interviewed locals. Some villagers said the mountain was normal. Others claimed strange things happened there. But one thing was common in every interview:
No one stays on the mountain after 7 PM.
After breakfast at a villager's house, Sam and Ruvan headed straight for the mountain. They reached around 10 AM. On the top, there was a flat area where a football tournament was happening. They watched all three matches, cheered with the crowd, and enjoyed the atmosphere. The matches ended around 4 PM.
After that, they continued exploring the mountain. A young boy pointed to a particular section and warned them,
"Don't go near that place. It's restricted."
So of course… Sam decided they had to go there.
They entered a forested part of the mountain, taking photos as they went. Without realizing it, they crossed into the restricted area. Deep inside, they found an abandoned duplex house. The second floor was half-constructed, and many of the stones had turned pitch black.
They decided to set up camp inside the house. Their plan was to stay overnight. They placed holy water around the area and took all the precautions they learned. They drew a protective circle around their tent and then went exploring again. But nothing unusual happened.
After an hour, they returned to their tent, placed a camera outside to record everything, and settled down.
Five minutes later, it was already 7 PM
And the weather suddenly changed
