The news was already on. Reporters were outside with their cameras flashing as they took images of the National Investigation Bureau as they confiscated the documents, the rights and devices from Richardson Tech Corporation
"Can you tell us why the company is being investigated?"
"We are aware that this Richardson Tech Corporation just acquired the Alisocial Tech Company..was it through illegal means?"
"Alisocial Tech Company had been sued severally by the public? How is it related to the Richardson Corporation Group?"
"Where they behind it?"
"Was the goal to absorb Alisocial Tech Company?"
The reporters stormed the agents with questions with the hope that they would at least get an answer to publish into the public and they wouldn't stop till they got an answer.
""We are currently conducting and investigation right now so we cannot provide any information on this till the investigation his over"
They cleared out and left in their vehicles leaving the reporters where they stood outside the Richardson Tech Corporation building.
"Someone did this..it can't be a coincidence" he said to himself.
Andrian's phone rang and he looked at the caller and picked it up.
"I just saw the news. What happened? I really can't see." Maya spoke with her concerned voice and he could tell she was worried hearing as it was shaking.
"Someone reported my company that I had acquired Alisocial tech company illegally and for doing some illegal transactions which I did not. And it seems the new company I acquired had some issues that are being connected back to me.
Whoever did this took the right time to hit me. I'm suspecting Silas. I'm definitely sure it was him"
"Check the news again. His company just made an announcement of launching a new product."
And then he placed his phone on speaker and then he checked through the news. He could see the news.
"What?"
The broadcast shifted: The Carson Corporation announces the launch of a revolutionary new product. Horizon 10+ a brand new phone with a different technology that far advances other phones.
He was shocked. This was the product that his company had been planning to launch. How did Silas get his hands on it? It seems there was an insider. Someone had betrayed his company and given the design products to Silas to launch.
While lost in thought his financial director barged in with a frowning expression .
"Sir, the stocks are falling down. We are losing a lot…. We are losing a lot."
At this point, they were losing all their investors and customers to Silas using this opportunity. He laid back on his chair. He was frustrated and tired. This was a big hit for him.
Then Fidelia call entered and his phone rang.
"I just saw the news."
"Yeah, how bad is it?"
"It's bad. I'm losing money at this point and the investors are trying to cancel the deal we are making with them. Stockholders are asking to sell their stocks. It's only getting worse."
"For now, I need you to keep everything and hold the business. I'll be there soon. If they want to sell their stocks, I'll buy them but do whatever it takes to let the company stand. This is Silas to him. We can't lose to him. I'm not ready to take any chances."
Fidelia took her phone, and then she called Mia. Mia was the one currently in charge of Top Notch Investment Company. The team had been set up to a certain stage that they could work on a group of small teams.
When Maya picked her call, Fidelia said,
"Maya, it's time for Top Notch Investment Company to buy some shares. I want everyone on it now. The stakeholders of Richardson Tech Corporation are selling their shares now. Buy as much as possible. You can get your hands on. This is a great opportunity for us."
The fact that Andrian was taking a big hit, she was aware. But if the stocks and shares went to another person, there would be problems. Andrian would lose the majority of the shares and the company would be affected. At this point, a lot of people were trying to buy the shares as fast as possible.
At the same time also, Adam was using his own company money to buy the shares that were being sold off. He couldn't lose out in the game and he wasn't going to give the shares to his opponent.
In no time Fidelia got into the company and then she entered and walked through Andrian's office where he sat down.
While she was passing, she could see that everyone was in an alarming state, trying to calm the public and those selling shares to others and making sure the company bought shares back. She stayed around looking at it and then she walked inside and saw Adam sitting on a chair.
She looked at the chair.
"You've got another problem. Now they are attacking you."
Hearing this, Andrian pointed at the screen in his office and another news was trending. It had been one of the wildest and toughest days.
News was trending and flashing all over, turning the public on different sides.
Now, Andrian and Fidelia were on the bad side of the public. It showed a video of Fidelia pushing a patient down. As she shouted and screamed that Fidelia was assaulting her. The video was cut to when Fidelia was walking out from the scene.
The news was describing her as a ruthless gold digger that the Richardson family was about to welcome. She had assaulted a patient in the hospital, used her power against her. Now there were lots of public comments, bad comments about her.
Andrian's phone rang again again, he was tired of hearing the buzz of his phone and he was really tense up from it. It was his call from Damien.
"What's up little brother? I heard your company is in a bit of a tight corner. You know, I wouldn't mind helping you if you ask. You just need to hand over the shares to me. I'll buy it at a good price. Don't worry, you and your wife can go on and take on the vacation."
"Wow, you really have been expecting this opportunity Damien? How about I give you a good offer? Fuck off."
"Oh, you are still proving strong. It's better to sell it to me than to your other brother. You know, he does more of it taking than buying."
"I'm not interested Damien."
"Well, you should be because very soon it's going to affect your marriage with that little girl. And trust me, the family won't want someone that creates chaos and scandal. Remember during the last meeting, grandmother made it clear. So, I don't think you are in a situation to decline my offer. Who knows, I can help you out."
"I don't need your help."
"Hey, time to calm down."
This was bad. Things were moving really bad. He needed to start solving it. Fidelia was still staring at the TV. She was confused at this point. Everything that hit her was just so much.
First, it was the staged up drama which had set her up in a trap. Now, Andrian was being attacked. His company had been sued for some illegal issues. Now, the issue with him marrying Andrian, she needed the power and money that comes with it.
It was going to be much harder if she was going to destroy Silas. She couldn't do it on her own. And this was showing how weak she is. She didn't have many allies to help her out in this.
Fidelia sat down completely drained mentally then this time it was her phone that rang.
She checked her phone and it was a number she didn't save. She thought about it wondering if she could pick.
A call at this time was not something she felt would not be a good news but despite that she decided to pick it.
"Hello Hacker" The voice said
