Chapter 3 - Chapter 3: Found You

The morning sun bathed the Haneul Medical University courtyard in golden light. Students moved in clusters, laughing, chatting, and rushing to their classes. Eunha Lin walked along the familiar path, her bag swinging lightly, lost in thought about the day's lectures.

Then, out of nowhere, a voice cut through the chatter.

"Found you."

Eunha froze mid-step. Her heart skipped a beat. The words were soft but carried a strange weight, like they had been whispered directly to her soul.

She turned slowly and met the eyes of a boy she had never seen before. Dark hair that shimmered in the sunlight, eyes sharp and piercing, and a presence so magnetic that the world around him seemed to blur.

"Sorry for making you wait so long," he added, his voice calm, smooth, yet laced with something she couldn't identify — longing, obsession, and… recognition.

Eunha blinked, confused. The words didn't make sense, yet a strange warmth fluttered in her chest. She shook her head slightly, forcing herself to walk past him.

"I… I have to go," she murmured, quickening her pace.

But the boy didn't move away. He followed her, keeping a careful distance, blending into the crowd, yet somehow always in her line of sight. Cafeteria, library, lecture hall — it didn't matter where she went. He was there, a shadow she couldn't shake.

Eunha's friends noticed too. Somi nudged her elbow during lunch. "Who's that boy? He keeps staring at you!"

Eunha shook her head, trying to dismiss the uneasy feeling. "I… don't know. Just ignore him," she said, though her voice wavered.

The boy's name was Lian Wu, though she didn't know it yet. To everyone else, he was just another transfer student, impossibly handsome, quiet, and mysterious. But to Eunha, he was something more — something familiar that tugged at a memory she couldn't reach.

As the day ended and Eunha walked back to her dorm, she glanced over her shoulder. There he was, standing at the edge of the campus, watching her silently.

In his heart, Lian Wu whispered a promise:

"I promised I'd find you. And I never break my promises."

Something inside Eunha stirred — a strange pull, a feeling she could neither name nor resist. She didn't know why, but she felt as if she had been waiting for him her whole life.

And in that moment, destiny began its quiet, unstoppable pull.
